      yes! I danced for through middle and high school. One of my favorite feautures were my calves and i always wanted to get them back. Thank you for the video

    I love these 5 min dancer inspired leg workouts! I practice them almost every day! Please do a barre abs workout, quick and fun like these, too! 😍🤗❤️

    Hi Jacquelyn, I'm so glad I came across this workout. It really made my calves sore the next day! My question is: if I have naturally bigger/muscular calves but want to make them smaller, would these exercises make them bigger and not smaller? I've done swimming and long distance running which have helped slim them down but wanted actual exercises to target and make them smaller! Thank you

      L Zhu if it’s muscle size then those exercises will increase its size long term u need to stop training them, if it’s fat due to genetics then it’s your nutrition that should be taken into consideration (lose some weight until your body burns the fat in this place after a while)

      But gurl i do weightlifting and let me tell u everyone wants big muscular calves they take 10000 yrs to get big if u have genetically muscular legs don’t take it for granted it’s amazingggg!😂😂😂

    As someone who was 'gifted' with high calves, cankles, and overall terrible calf genetics, I can say that this exercise routine doesn't work. Perhaps for someone with halfway good calf genetics, but for those like me, this isn't nearly enough to make the calves grow.

      First of all, you need to have healthy heart. Then to eat meat and take proteins to build muscle, doing at the same time gradually hardening weightlifting at the bodybuilding club. Coach would advice what is needed. And then keep this regime of nutrition and training for the rest of your life unless you want you calves diminish again.

    Hi ! Is there any contraindications ? I tried this 3 days ago and tore my calves... I can’t put my feet flat when walking :(

      Did you stretch before the workout? You shouldn’t do too much if your muscles aren’t used to it, don’t push too hard

    Great routine, my legs are on fire!…
    BUT just an observation… for the single leg excercises you end up having time for 30/35 reps for one leg and then time for 20/22 for the other… way too much chit chat and not enough attention on the counting. You either have to stop doing reps to go along with the counting or you have to pause it for the second leg to make sure you did the same amount for each one.
    I think it’s important to focus on the excercise (which is great), the technique and the reps, and leave the promotion for the beginning or the end of the video, if people like the routine they will subscribe anyway.
