Very thankful for this, because I’ve been doing this since the beginning of February. I’ve never been a ballet dancer, so when I started this I couldn’t last 20 seconds at a time without this KILLING my upper thighs, glutes, feet, and the back of my knees in the worst way possible. Now I’ve been doing this since then (not every day, but maybe 3 or 4 times a week) and I can last for four minutes. Even then only the back of my knee muscles start to hurt. Very thankful for this and haven’t done any other type of calf exercise and I feel like my calves have grown well. I don’t do your ballet legs workout very often. I did it last night and I can’t last even 3 minutes before everything hurting very badly. This video was definitely my priority. Amazing how two separate workout videos by the same person can work so many different muscle areas without any weights. Thank you for this workout! I am recovering from nerve damage after a herniated disc. My left calf has lost a lot of strength and I am in dire need of fun exercises. I made it to 2,5 minutes. I am proud of myself as my surgery was 5 months ago and I am still recovering. I did ballet for 2 years but only in my twenties.
I've been a dancer my whole life so I wanted to see if I could do the 5 easily. It was a challenge and I had to stop twice for a few seconds, but I did it! This is fun and I love your spirit, Jacquelyn, thank you! xo
Love your energy and I did your challenge! But I have to say on day 2 i couldn’t walk. It is now day 3 and still can’t walk. I have seen a great change but if you want to see results faster (remember do this at you own pace) start slow and when you've done this for a few times put in WEIGHTS TO SEE A GREATER DIFFERENCE. Great calf workout! I did have to stop at 3 minutes. I started getting cramps in my calves. Ouch! I will do more tomorrow! Thank you so much for all of your workouts. I need to lose 30 lbs.
Great challenge, on day 2 I couldn't walk. Still have errands and stuff to do, so I put small heels on. I was able to walk and the pain was less. Never thought Id be more comfortable in heels than in flats
SAAME! gosh I can breath now, the day right after the workout I was pretty sore but today (the 2nd day after the workout) I litteraly can't even stand up, i'm in so much pain and I can't put all my foot in the floor I was thinking on using heels cause thats exactly what my feet are like and the only way i'm able to walk, didn't you hurt yourself after using the heels?
The day after doing this I literally can’t walk and the back of my knees hurt soooo much 😭 did I do the workout wrong or is it cuz I’m sore? I can’t tell😭

New update : its been 3 days now and I am starting to feel a lot better, I can finally walk straight without bending (idk if you know what I mean). It was painful but i think it was worth it. On day 3 the pain is unbearable y’all I can’t walk. I’m going to do an update for day 4 so everyone can see how long it takes to recover, I recommend don’t do the full 5 mins your first time
YOU HAVE TO DO THIS THIS WORKS!!! I’m on day 2 and my calves are visible when i walk and they weren’t visible before!! Im doing this workout and lilly sabri’s 3 min calf burn workout. THIS LITERALLY WORKS DO I WITH ME QUEENS!! Also i did that and i cant walk normal😭
So I did this for the first time last week and the pain on day 3 was unbearable. Even the simpliest of movement was painful, however looking a week later I can see it was worth it 💪 I can see it! I will do this once a week and day 3 can be recovery day. Thank you for destroying my calves 😃😄
Im doing the same! I’m doing this once a week, right now my calfs are so sore! I have never had a good calf muscle definition, even when i was in soccer! my calves were never really there. Hopefully this can help because i want my calves to be there.
I’m going to be doing this for around a month with breaks because my calves are easily injured while running and I want them to get stronger, so I’ll do my updates here. I’m starting with 15 cm around my calves, flexed and at rest. Day 1: Took a lot of breaks, so only did it for around 3 minutes and some of it was a little sloppy, but when I tensed my glutes that helped a lot Day 2: Only could do it for around 2 and a half minutes, will try again tomorrow ☺️ Day 3: Did it for around 3 minutes, on and off, it really made my calves tight! Got a good stretch in though and I’ll do it again!
I have been doing this everyday for a week now, I get used to it but it still burns, I'm a very skinny person and now I can feel my calves muscles growing though its not noticeable yet but I think it's improving
I should have read the comments before doing this exercise. The next day I did not feel anything but today I woke up not being able to walk it hurts soo much. I had a dentist appointment and everyone was staring weirdly lol

Looking to tone up before major hip surgery due CrossFit injury and hip defect. Love the workouts! I could only go 1 1/2 minutes with this one....beginners, beware!
Found this video. Have been doing this for 4 days. I already have thick calves but are not toned. I need to slim down my calves and tone them. Will this slim down my calves, get rid of fat and get toned calves?

This is a great workout but I won’t be doing this again. I can’t walk properly and whenever I try I always hurt my feet from trying and I’ve been in bed mostly for three days today and it makes me feel terrible about myself, I’m in so much pain and I don’t know how to fix it I’ve tried everything basically and I’m just annoyed.
It really helps if u do a longer stretch at the end and the next day if u get a tennis ball or something similar and roll out your calves muscles that takes away some of the pain
Bodybulider here. Got 20 inch calves and I always want them bigger (it's a problem I know). I did some research on ballerinas because I heard so much about their calves in the past. Now let me say this, I have done 10 sets of 100 reps of calves raises everyday. I stretch after and a lot. That right there is why you can't walk right encase someone wonders. You really need to stretch them. But anyways, I just did this 5 minute calves type of raise. WOW. My pump was three times bigger than doing all those sets and reps. Idk what it is but that type of calves raises seriously is the cure to skinny calves period. Other bodybuliders with small calves and want good calves. Coming from a guy with 20s this is worse than any of those exercises. Have a blessed day Miss Jacquelyn.
hey, this was an absolute killer! i was wondering if i'll see results doing this for like two minutes every day? thank you for this and i will definitely subscribe to your channel!
I start ballet/lyric next week and I haven’t focused on my calves at all- I think I’m ready Edit: next day; I can’t walk Week later: I can finally walk without my legs hurting

Day 4 was a lot better, some stiffness and pain was still there but not as much as before
Day 5 was back to normal just felt a little stiff
we have different bodies yes i agree don't continue if you think this is too much! but still thanks for going through this with me 💕
Tell me plzz ,any positive change?
i’m on 3 lol i’m not gonna be able to move tomorrow but it’s important to stretch
Also i did that and i cant walk normal😭
omg the burnnnnnn
So I did this for the first time last week and the pain on day 3 was unbearable. Even the simpliest of movement was painful, however looking a week later I can see it was worth it 💪 I can see it! I will do this once a week and day 3 can be recovery day. Thank you for destroying my calves 😃😄
Kathleen Cattle how long did it take for the pain to die down?
😆hope it was all worth it!! thanks for your feedback babe
Im doing the same! I’m doing this once a week, right now my calfs are so sore! I have never had a good calf muscle definition, even when i was in soccer! my calves were never really there. Hopefully this can help because i want my calves to be there.
As a ballerina i got to say this was suprisingly easy but the next day my calves were sore:)second time doing this and i could already see results
I'm glad you joined in!
Geesh no weights and it burns 🔥 so good !
Nice work :)
I’m going to be doing this for around a month with breaks because my calves are easily injured while running and I want them to get stronger, so I’ll do my updates here.
I’m starting with 15 cm around my calves, flexed and at rest.
Day 1: Took a lot of breaks, so only did it for around 3 minutes and some of it was a little sloppy, but when I tensed my glutes that helped a lot
Day 2: Only could do it for around 2 and a half minutes, will try again tomorrow ☺️
Day 3: Did it for around 3 minutes, on and off, it really made my calves tight! Got a good stretch in though and I’ll do it again!
Yess I love this! Definitely reléleves are amazing for calves!! I love your video!! You got a sub from me!!! :D
I had a lot of fun and the burn is real
I needed this video.. Thank u very much..im gonna do for only two mins nd den work my way up...
I have been doing this everyday for a week now, I get used to it but it still burns, I'm a very skinny person and now I can feel my calves muscles growing though its not noticeable yet but I think it's improving
You got a new subscriber! Love this
wow you're amazing 💕
I should have read the comments before doing this exercise. The next day I did not feel anything but today I woke up not being able to walk it hurts soo much. I had a dentist appointment and everyone was staring weirdly lol
I just found you by "accident" Andddd im going to Subcribe !
aww thanks babe!! you're welcome!!

Dude I can't walk for two days and I was thinking "I'll do that every day"
NOW I AM LYING IN MY BED
Day 5: I can walk but it hurts a little bit
it hurts because it works 💮
How often should I do this to see results fast?
Great workout, thanks . Could you do a calf challenge (like a 10 days challenge)? To my knowledge, there are no calf challenges on TH-cam.
Looking to tone up before major hip surgery due CrossFit injury and hip defect. Love the workouts! I could only go 1 1/2 minutes with this one....beginners, beware!
Remember just dont over work yourself 😊👍
thanks for the feedback!!
Found this video. Have been doing this for 4 days. I already have thick calves but are not toned. I need to slim down my calves and tone them. Will this slim down my calves, get rid of fat and get toned calves?
I loooove her voice, she speaks like a princess🤭🤭
Does it make your calf fat thinner or muscle them?
Yea didn’t even finish the whole thing and literally cannot walk.
you're awesome!
I swear this is the first workout video I actually accomplished...Well today was day one.... JUST HOPE I CONTINUE....
First you must have healthy heart. Then eat meat, take proteins, and at the same time do gradually increasing weightlifting at the bodybuilding club. And massage them before and after. A coach will advice you. And later keep the same regime of nutrition and training unless you want your calves diminish again. Videos like this one are useless in this respect because persons enjoining inborn large calves try to suggest as though they got them doe to the exercises they show.
Ooooouuuuccchhhh! Love it!
I subscribed.
I did this yesterday and can confirm I CANNOT WALK TODAYYYYY
very much not exaggerating
I’m an equestrian and it helped with riding horses
I feel the burnnn
Hi, Jacquelyn
Thank you for sharing this workout section! But does this help to grow the calves even as a men also? 😊
Obviously! I'm a ballerina and I promise you gotta feel the burn
I doing these ballet workout videos! Feeling strong!
yes babe let's get it! 💕
It's a good exercise if your used to doing calve workouts it still gives you a burn and is really good
Feeling it! Thank you
you're welcome!!!
How often is recommended to build calf muscle?
Yess felt the burrnnnn!😭😭 but so good!!👌🏾
thanks for joining me 💕
Great videos!.. great work out.
hey, this was an absolute killer! i was wondering if i'll see results doing this for like two minutes every day? thank you for this and i will definitely subscribe to your channel!
How long have you been doing the exercise
Is it normal if i feel it in my butt and thights as well?
hey can you please pleasse make a yoga workout vid with a yoga ball. i loved this workout thank you lyyyyyyyy 💕💕💕💕
Yeah, I think I'll start at one minute and work my way up. I need my legs for the next week.
Thank you this was a great workout!
awesome!! thanks for joining me 💕
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fire in the calves! Fast and efficient.
this is so efficient
How many times should i do the 5 minute challenge a week? like should it be done everyday or once a week etc.
I start ballet/lyric next week and I haven’t focused on my calves at all- I think I’m ready
Edit: next day; I can’t walk
Week later: I can finally walk without my legs hurting
I did a solid 5 non stop minute barefoot, and today they hurt so bad, nice and simple excercise and easy to do, in the gym lifting weights for calfs never ever see any progress
thank you for sharing!!
Will this bulk my calves, because I want to tone and slim them down.
Does this also help to slim down ankles?
Best workouts!! Ty
thank you! 💕
Wow I felt muscles I didn’t even know I had burning!
