Thank you so much for this video; I feel so relieved now. I started playing in Season 5, and when Season 6 came, I had no idea what was happening to my character because I didn’t understand how seasons work. I went through a lot of confusion, wondering why the new quest (Creeping Hatred) didn’t appear and why I couldn't join new events. I also didn’t understand why other players were missing during events on the map (I later learned many of them had moved to the new season). It can be confusing for new players to understand the differences between Seasonal and Eternal play modes, and what each one offers. Thanks for the clarification. One more thing I wanted to share: since so many people play in the Seasonal mode, it feels more engaging and lively to see other players on the map. It really triggers a fear of missing out.
yes and the problem is, since season 4 they basically destroy all the items in eternal realm (setting them to legacy) which is pretty unacceptable for players not playing seasonal. You basically have good gear, then they change itemization and set your items to some random level like 560 of 800 which is just horrible.
this video is GREAT. havent been playing diablo for 3 seasons and coming back to see what is up and did they fix it and this is just great to see to know what and how to start.
Thanks for the video, very informative. I like seasons for new things or just trying out new classes/builds from scratch. - But without Eternal Realm I wouldn't play Diablo 4. I don't farm for perfect gear for more than 500+ hours, just to see my character becomes unplayable and unavailable. Permanent characters are important to make the whole thing worthwhile and to be able to return to your character at any time, if you don't feel like playing the season anymore. I'm surprised, that there are actually people who just play seasonally and never touch their eternal character again. For a casual player I understand it, but if you are a hardcore-player who aims for perfect gear like Perfect 3 GA Gear and Ubers with GA and perfect masterworking, it's crazy to think that they will never play that character again.
It's not so much about minmaxing all 3GA items. Diablo 4 is just not a good enough game currently to strive for that. Of course some guys will do it, but it's more for entertainment because they are paid streamers, etc, but not for completion. It's more about the fresh start in the season, and usually there should be seasonal mechanics every season giving you unique builds and different items, etc, but D4 fell short on this in S4 and likely will also do on S5.
I hate seasonal. again and again same shit different day. I stopped playing seasonal a few seasons ago as it means my eternal player was stuck at lvl 40. Is there more support for eternal realm now.
I wish the battle pass was.on the eternal realm as well. I would.play only eternal if that is the case. I don't like going back and forth and starting a whole new character. I feel trapped in a way. I care to much about the cosmetics.
I have barb on lvls 100 eternal with my own build..I think also very well built paragon but I am able to finish max the pit tier 40 (in wt iv)....can not imagine to finish 61 for new upgrading material...is it possible with an eternal character?
Maybe you answered me to a question that seems no one knows xD so will crafting materials earned in seasonal realm be add to crafting materials of eternal realm? This include erbs, rocks, crystals etc... ? Never played a season before, this is first time and i don't want to waste all the time
I don't understand anything you're saying throughout the "Armory" (what do you mean by that?) segment surrounding level 100 characters, followed by claiming it only takes 10 hours to go from 1 to 100 and another 10 hours to level up every glyph to 21. I'm currently level 82 and I've put in considerably more time into a single character, which is also my only character. Could you elaborate a bit for me?
Well I'm talking about speed-leveling methods here. If you're enjoying the game, looking at gear and Skills, exploring stuff, etc it takes significantly longer. In S4 speed-leveling (Essentially just spamming helltide using 2 Elixirs and one Incense for XP Boost) to Level 100 took about 6 hours. In Season Five with 3x the Mindcage it will prolly be somewhere around 4-5 Hours. The "Armory" is just having access to multiple Level 100 Characters allowing to switch gear / skills. That is usually named an "Armory" or "Loadoud Slots".
So what do I do with all the legacy gear (with the red skull on them) on my eternal realm toons ..... am I supposed to play with that gear until obtaining new eternal realm gear and scrap the legacy stuff?
I am playing 1 character seasonal for the cosmetics and then continuing on eternal. It is a joke i have to start from scratch every 2 months just to be together with the 'cool kids'....
I was planning on playing eternal. This video solidified it.
Thank you bro you saved me time with not having to start over with the seasonal

So eternal realm gets no good gear?? I am confused again
Eternal Rihanna vs Seasonal Rihanna
I see what you did there 😂
Just the information I was looking for, thanks so much for making the video.

It’s a lot of fun
Great insight! Love the comparison.
I really despise these seasons…. Forcing us to level again every few months is just tiresome
Exactly this why i could not be bothered to play
Very helpful video. Looks like seasonal makes the most sense for me.
Great comparison. As a force of habit - new Seasonal Hero it is
I hate constantly starting over but i dont want to miss new storylines and events so i guess i have to stay seasonal
Thanks for the video, very informative.

I'm finding this season way to tough. So gonna go back to my level 70 sorceress.
trading and grouping is pretty much dead in eternal so if you want to sell or buy items or do boss rotations its much much easier in seasonal

which realm do people with all the uber builds play on?

the realm doesnt matter they are identically gameplaywise

they roll over at the end of season, so if you are completely new you should play season
@@GoldfarmingGuide thank you :)

Are there still events, World bosses and things like that in the eternal realm?
eternal is completely similar to seasonal
The one benefit of playing seasonal is having 6 new empty stash tabs 😂
How do I switch to the eternal realm if I'm playing on the season realm now? Please help
you cant.
What about the builds? S4 builds we can't play basically? I want to finally restart playing Diablo 4 but without playing the seasonal.
The builds are exactly the same in seasonal and eternal. There is absolutely nothing build related new in S4.
@@GoldfarmingGuide Thank you so much for this. Looked everywhere for a video that explains about this. VERY VERY GOOD JOB ON THE VIDEO!
I’m
On eternal and I can’t do tempering
You can..but firstly you have to collect new items and recipes..it is not possible to do it with old items
Can I use my sparks in the eternal realm to craft an uber
sure
I wanna see how fast I can level from 1-100 even though I consider myself more of a casual.
it will be very fast. all xp pretty much buffed from 50-100%
@@GoldfarmingGuide Let's see if I can do it in one sitting. Anyway, Have fun and thanks for the build guides. Gonna look out for your endgame builds.
So what do I do with all the legacy gear (with the red skull on them) on my eternal realm toons ..... am I supposed to play with that gear until obtaining new eternal realm gear and scrap the legacy stuff?
yeah legacy gear is not much worse then the new gear until masterworked 8 times. U can use it and just salvage what you don’t need
I am playing 1 character seasonal for the cosmetics and then continuing on eternal. It is a joke i have to start from scratch every 2 months just to be together with the 'cool kids'....
A little bit of both
Wow!!! Just fucking wow!!!!!! I’ve been wasting my time in seasonal.
REEEAAAALM LOL
