I prefer the verse-by-verse layout for doing studies. I read the paragraph form layout when reading through the Bible as a whole.

I agree. I've noticed when I try to do study with the paragraph format I wind up jotting notes on a whole paragraph instead of breaking it down by verse

Very comparable to the Lockman and Zondervan large print thinlines. I don’t have the exact measurements, but it is a very readable 11-point font and it is very portable. I have no issues carrying or holding it for extended periods of time. Very comfortable.
