I remember the early days of iPadOS when Apple Notes was good but not great when compared to other note-taking apps. But now… Whoa! Apple Notes has become my default notes app.🐬
Apple Notes has been my default notes and organizing app over since it introduced tags. I migrated from Evernote to Notes, never got into Notion or any other tool.
I've tried several third party note taking apps but none of them work as seamless as Apple Notes across devices. Finally they've added cascading notes, which should have been in the original version since outlining note apps that that way back in the days of the original Macintosh. I also like the Lists app as I'm constantly using my Apple watch to dictate new list items. I love how lists organizes a grocery list automatically by store sections. These two programs easily justify the premium price of a Mac or iPad.
I’ve got an iPad Pro 6th gen, an M2 device but there is no summary when using audio notes and transcription. Also I’m still sad there is no (albeit toned down version) Notes on Apple Watch.
@@VoxJ The image resizing feature is available in Apple Notes, but there are some features in Notability that I wish were available in Apple Notes. For example, I use zoom in, writing, and audio recording while writing, and it syncs with my writing.
@ When I study outside of lectures, I like to use split-screen mode with Safari. I used to drag and drop required photos from Safari to my notes (only works when dropping near written notes, not typed notes). Then we can resize it and even write over it. I’m not sure if this works only for me or if it’s a bug or if everyone can do it. Let me know if it’s working for you.
Note on "Cascading Lists" - It's not just lists. It's notes, period. Use the "Heading" format - and then take notes after... and the drop down will appear. I've used it for class notes - one class, but each week is a drop down section.
you know what is driving me out of my mind with cascading? the fact that you can NOT space out titles from one another (unless it's open), at least I have not found a single way to do so, btw, great video
I want to love Notes, but the one issue I have seems to be unfixable. I type and write in my notes. I want to be able to go into a typed section and underline, circle, make handwritten notes. In Apple Notes I cannot find a way to do this. The typed section has a buffer above and below that I cannot write in.
@@TonyTylerDraws Maybe I don't understand you correct, but I normally write the text as "hand written", then I convert it to text. After that I can go back and underline and circle etc, but maybe that's not what you are looking for?
I have got an iPad Air 6th Gen 13 inch. It gets heated a lot when I use Apple Notes after some writing and when more and more time passes it heats so much that I cannot even put my hand on iPad for writing. If anyone know how to fix it then Please tell.
@@atharvdwivedi1738 i have 6th gen ipad pro 12.9, with that too i am facing same problem. Heats up just within few minutes of writing. I personally use noteful app for my studies and note making.
Something that few people know could be very useful is that you can link a note to another (which is easy with Notions but much more hidden with Apple Notes). You can write >> and a menu will appear that allows you to choose from the last opened notes. VERY useful if you are trying to organize your notes....!
@ it is a command hard to find and you can only link the last notes you opened. It is a strange way to implement this function, in my opinion it is something they were “testing” and that will become a button (or something similar) on a next release 😉
Taking notes on the iPad with Apple Pencil you’re unable to zoom which makes this useless when trying to view the note on your iPhone it’s just too small. Let us pinch to zoom.
I went back to Apple Notes about a month ago , Apple Notes is becoming a killer app with every new update, I’m using the heading levels as workaround to make Q/A formatted Notes and actively testing myself (replaced Anki basically) and using the tags to periodically review my notes (replaced Anki algorithm 😂) . One little thing that drives me crazy is that now if u edit the pdf on mac running sequoia the doc will be view only on older OSs (ios 16.7 in my case ) and if add voice memo or add a highlight (both are new stuff ) you will be UNABLE to even view the Note on older devices which is insane!? Like why ? oc iphone x can’t handle a highlight , it requires more processing power?!😂😂 🐬
Can I suggest that your slow down your speech to 140 words per minute so it would be easier to grasp your concepts. You have really good content but it is so hard to follow you I have replay the video several times to get what you are saying. Perhaps, also, “pause” once and awhile for effect to let us find a place to pause your video - when you talk so fast there isn’t a space to pause as we try out your suggestions.
Apple notes is extremely basic compared to Notion, Obsidian etc, the fact that people recommend it over those services is just stupid. Where are the templates drop down menus etc oh that’s right they don’t have any. This video title and thumbnail are deceptive.

This is insane how apple system apps have evolved beyond imagination

How do I change FONTS in Notes? Please and thank you very much🤔👍🏽

No resizing images. No default font type option.
@@CleanDesign_ Yes, it is a note taking app with no resizing of images and no default font type option. Duh?

Which app can you use to create mind maps with ai that are precise when fed the file with info

Not first - and proud of it. 😆
In my opinion the perfekt notetaking App will be a hybrid between Apple Notes and Goodnotes from Apple

Nice
Does apple notes support markdown? If not than this is a hard pass for me
It’s really beautiful and nice to use but totally useless as it’s Apple native, as soon as I need to share a note - f-ed I am
Good try, but you can't even zoom in/out xd
