The original version of "The Sound Of Silence" was released in October 1964 as an acoustic ballad recorded by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. When Art Garfunkel sang this song in the mid 1960's, with the voice of an Angel he told a story of what people were doing to each other. But five plus decades later David Dramin, with the voice an Avenging Angel told the story of the crimes of what people had done to each other, the same words but two different meanings to the story. Both versions a classic in their own right, but David's version made the song his own, my opinion. I like your reactions of music, music is life, love and loss and everything else that is human. ....Its 03:20 a.m.... here in buenos aires, i`ve never paid attention to the lyrics..and now i understand why this lady cries......really a very profound meaning....i would say.. a daily tragedy....in fact....it reminded me of this song guys...."The Sundays - Here's Where The Story Ends"..... 🤔....
    Lyrics
People I know, places I go
    Make me feel tongue tied
But I can see how people look down
    They're on the inside
    Here's where the story ends
People I see, weary of me
    Showing my good side
I can see how people look down
    I'm on the outside
    Here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
Oh, I never should have said the books that you read
Were all I loved you for
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
    Which makes me wonder why
It's the memories of your shed that make me turn red
    Surprise, surprise, surprise
Crazy I know, places I go
    Make me feel so tired
And I can see how people look down
    I'm on the outside
Oh, here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
And who ever would've thought the books that you brought
Were all I loved you for
Oh, the devil in me said, "Go down to the shed"
    I know where I belong
But the only thing I ever really wanted to say
Was wrong, was wrong, was wrong
It's that little souvenir of a colorful year
    Which makes me smile inside
So I cynically, cynically say the world is that way
    Surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise
    Here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends

This is the most genuine reaction for this song performed by Disturbed. Your dog is so cute (French Bulldog) He knows when you are experiencing some high emotions and it really moved me to see him wanting to be with you to comfort you. It is ok to cry, it makes us human. Keep up the great reaction vids.

I think that you are thinking of Watchmen rather than V for Vendetta. This song was during the Comedian's funeral. I don't think it was in V for Vendetta. But Watchmen is by the same company and from the same author, so: close.

Down with the Sicknesses needs to be your next video. David almost called off this performance he was fight a bad cold. The original band wrote this song as a warning. This version conveys more regret. I think Paul Simon of Simon and Garfunkel said this gets their approval. I think Paul wrote this in 68 or so. When I heard Disturbed was going to cover it I was hyped. They stayed pretty close to the original. I was hoping they would follow their regular style.
David was trained to follow in his families footsteps as a cantor in a Jewish synagogue. Leading music.

React to a song that is the normal style for Disturbed. The Light by Disturbed is very powerful and the official video tells a truly beautiful story. You will be truly moved and amazed. David Draiman is the lead singer of the band Disturbed and they do not normally use an orchestra.

The song made me philosophical and sad as usual. I would sing it in my college days when it would rain with gloomy clouds -"I turned my collar to the cold and damp..." Ok. And Irina, your crying made me want to reach out to you and hug you. And make you smile. You're a sensitive and beautiful person.
