Alex, I am not a bird person. But god thank you so much for taking these feathery babies in. They deserve just as much love as any other animal and seeing them in distress is just as heartbreaking. Poor baby, I hope he finds the peace he deserves with you. And what an amazing thing you’re doing, even in the midst of mental health struggle you’re still taking these babies on. You’re amazing!
That poor baby, makes me so mad to see an animal so neglected and in a terrible state. Errol is a lucky boy to have you as his Mum, he'll have the best life now!!!❤️🕊
As a first year vet tech I really wanted to commend you on your desensitization technique, being patient and keeping interactions purposeful can be really difficult to gauge at the beginning so It's really amazing that he's doing this well at day 4. Errol reminds me of my first and only chicken patient "Clucky" who had a pretty bad case of bumble foot, she was later nicknamed "F#cky", after she scratched up my entire arm upon being released from her foot soak one day. I'm loving this new bird girl era for you, the BIRD'S stay! ❤️❤️
I'd say cleaning lice off a pigeon counts as tidying up, so you didn't miss Tidy-up Tuesday, it was just a slight change of plans. Both those outfits were gorgeous but I think the blue top would look better without anything under it.
The big question is, is PrettyPastel's sidequest in reality just Alex's way of gently easing her surroundings into accepting her new life as a pigeon/bird rescuer
alex i cant tell you how much this series has helped me with my mental health. you're always reminding us that its okay to struggle and not to be embarrassed of things. i'm finally getting up and cleaning my room today and i'm going to rewatch the series all day to get things done. thank you for existing ♥︎
Errol is so sweet. Poor thing. How could anyone abuse or hurt animals….it hurts my heart so much. But you rescuing and loving these animals after what they’ve been through fills me with hope and love. Thank you Alex for loving them and giving them a new life!!!
Errol did such an amazing job with you during bath time. He’s incredibly lucky to have found home with you. I hope this video inspires people to help not just birds, but all animals. Well done, Alex. 💜
The hyperfocus gets really nuts for me sometimes when my Vyvanse wears off while I'm engrossed in a task. Not OCD levels, but I can definitely relate to the feeling of "I wonder what time it is but I can't possibly stop doing what I'm doing to check." Video games can do this to me very easily, especially if the computer clock isn't visible in-game.
as someone who hyperfixates, it can be so horrible, but on the bright side, you got the beautiful birdie feeling less uncomfortable in his own skin!! you're such an amazing person for adopting and taking such good care of all these animals, i wish i could do the same. you're really an inspiration to me!
Errol trembling and shaking when you first turned on the shower has me melting! Poor dear! Scared but excited, too. He's such a handsome little guy. Edit: I adopted 3 sibling kitty cats a few months ago. On the one hand, 3 felt like 1 too many. On the other, they keep each other quite entertained. One of them, of course, ended up having a breakthrough of ear mites as rescue kittens often do. I had to give him drops 2/daily for 2 weeks, but it ended up being quite the bonding experience. He went from being the most timid of the bunch to being the perfect floppy carry-me cat. Even my mom mentioned it when I sent a picture: "Which one is that? He's so cute- his gaze is so trusting!" She was right. 🥰 It's beautiful to see Errol's trust in you grow! I think he'd say his bath time and delousing totally counts toward Tidy-Up Tuesday!
There used to be a show on PBS called Big Comfy Couch and on it there was the 'ten second tidy' where you put away anything you could in 10 seconds. Sometimes big things are hard for me but I always go back to 10 second tidy and expand to 1 min tidy or 5 min tidy if I feel good enough to do it. It is super helpful to me and this reminds me of it.
I love these short burst ones. They seem far less daunting. Suggestions I’ve enjoyed in addition to the 10 second. One song - tidy for the length of one song. One colour- put away everything of a particular colour. One bag - fill a recycling bag as you walk through. I also like stairs challenge. Find something that belongs on a different floor/different room and take it there, in that room put it away and find something that belongs elsewhere, I.e. downstairs and take it there etc. get your steps in too! Etc. The one I found particularly useful for me, but possibly is a bit niche, ……. Take everything out of a given space that doesn’t belong in it. Next day, same in a new space. Repeat. Now either, you can re home the evicted items or relocate them in the correct room as you go…(hard level to be honest) or, you can just keep doing it until there’s a pile on the way to the door that doesn’t belong in the house. This obviously requires a bit of a completion commitment as you can make it worse before it’s better. But it’s helpful for me because one of my stressors is not finding stuff (adhd) and I really really need unstuffed organised rooms in order to cope. I therefore have to take things out of a space to improve it, I can’t see past clutter.
I set a timer for 20 minutes, if still interested in area to be cleaned after timer dings - set it and try for another 20 minutes. You are an inspiration to your "followers " (we consider ourselves friends) xo
Hi! Alex, Good job with the cleaning, you’re doing so well. We as subscribers are so privileged to be allowed to witness your life. You always help so many of us. Thankyou
I hope more people adopt pigeons! They are the most beautiful birds. We have so many at RSPCA that get stuck there forever :( If you're thinking of getting a birdy PLEASE ADOPT
Try cleaning/tidying up as you go. If you take something out of the fridge/cupboard/drawer put it back where it was when finished with it. Have a place for everything and everything in its place. Pretty soon there will never be a mess because you automatically put things where they are supposed to be.
Hope I'm not overstepping but I have noticed that sometimes you take the supplements at the same time as your prescription medications and some supplements can have an interaction with medication so they recommend that you take them 2(?) hours apart. Maybe search up the interaction between the new supplement and your prescription meds in case that's what has thrown you off ? Not trying to give unsolicited medical advice, just offering a potential answer :)
This. I'm low potassium but on heart meds which normally don't mix (and also the reason for low potassium) as the supplements can stop the actual meds working. Doc said to space them out. Potassium at lunch, heart meds at bed works for me.
Thank you for loving and taking care of Errol. He's such a sweet boy. I will admit I came for Archie, but I stayed for Alex. You sharing all of what you have been through, is making me realize that its damn time that I took care of myself.
Hi, Alex. :) I have been a viewer of your other channel for years. This channel was suggested to me when you were a couple of days in to your 100 days of parcel unboxing. I watched one of the videos and then subscribed to keep up to date on upcoming videos! I want to say thank you for "talking" with us and sort of sharing your journey and a little bit of your daily life with us. I wanted to comment and say thank you for rescuing your new birdie (I do not know how to spell his name). ❤ Watching you gently care for him and try to help get the mites off of him warms my heart. ❤ I can't believe what the poor little guy was going through... Thank you for giving him a new chance at a better life!! 😄 I also wanted to comment how when you showed us the new tooth pastes your Mom(?) got for you...I got excited over "The Wiggles"...I grew up with the OG Wiggles. Anyways! Thank you for sharing a bit of your daily life with us!! ❤❤ Stay strong!
Hey Alex. I saw you’re trying to find a toothpaste that works better for you. Full disclosure: I haven’t tried this one BUT Chemist Warehouse has a toothpaste called “Hello Toothpaste Kids Unicorn Sparkle” and it has great reviews and testimonials from people who’ve swapped to it because it’s not “spicy” like others can be. And on the plus side when I just looked it up it’s on sale right now. Could be worth a try. Also, to try and limit myself getting hyper-fixated like you were talking about, what I try to do is put on an album I like, and I can do my task until the album finishes. But when it’s finished, so am I. No “just one more”. Otherwise I too will lose hours without meaning to. The job might not be done done, but I can always do another album’s worth later on or tomorrow. Ps. Your patience with the new bird Is beautiful. You’re such a good bird mum!
I’ve never had a bird as a pet. I didn’t realise how affectionate they could be or that pigeons and chickens like pats. Considered a parrot once, but I have cats and I’m not very physically mobile so decided against it. I’ve really been enjoying catching up with you every day
Every day is data. You try something, you observe, you add it to the routine or you know what to avoid (and if lucky, it hints at other things to try or avoid). There are no true setbacks in science. Also, mad respect for using the bird and foot pic as the video icon.
This one really gets me. My OCD is like this too - I have a skin picking kind of fixation. Picking off the eggs on your bird, scratching flea dirt off of my cat or getting all the blackheads off my skin - if I notice anything like that it is nearly impossible for me to stop once I've noticed it. I'm a lot better now, but it is really comforting to know someone else out there is like me in this way. Love you Alex. Hope you're doing a bit better today. ♥
hey alex, I dont usually comment because I hate knowing theres a record of me out in the world. Ive been dealing with a depressive episode that makes it hard to get out of bed. so Ive been back watching your whole 100 days and got to this one. something about the way you opened this video really helped me get up and start my day, even though its quite late now. so I just wanted to say thank you there are people doing construction outside my window, and to access my kitchen and bathroom I sometimes have to walk by an opened garage. so your comments on the previous video about having electricians in your space making it hard to function rang true
Hiya Alex, I loved seeing your new bird!! You’re so wonderful for rescuing these poor gentle birds. I used to be a vet tech, though never with birds, and I think you’re giving them EXCELLENT care - staying calm and thinking rationally while treating them, educating yourself on their situations and not allowing yourself to become squeamish, these are not things that come naturally to many people, but you’re killing it. They’re so lucky to have you ❤
Alex thank you so much for rescuing the birdies 🤍 I can’t! He is sooo cute!!! It’s beautiful to see how he trusts you after just 4 days! Like he finds comfort in you.
Hi alex! Just a tip with lice (I’m sure you known this stuff but just in case). I have dealt with lice before in birds, mostly chickens and they are incredibly hard to get rid off. The best way I have found is to use ivermectin. I also clean the cage/coop area with Maldison 50 and stray the animals with it lightly. Very strong but works wonders. I would also recommend keeping him in an area far away from your other birds and keeping him in an easily cleaned area, like the bathroom that can be completely cleaned. Lice and mites are a b!tch. My chickens tend to get lice once a year or two as we live near the bush and wild birds tend to hang around. I’ve found you’ve gotta be aggressive with it. I’m sure you are way more experienced than me, just wanted to say this. Thanks for helping these animals
I don't recommend ivermectin as much. It's used widespread with racing pigeons and as a result feather lice have built a whopping resistance for ivermectin based products. Sometimes it works very effectively but other times it won't put a dent in the lice population. Products with permethrin are a very good alternative if ivermectin isn't working as it should.
These videos have become the best content on TH-cam. Can't say it any other way. As a bird lover myself, it's so soothing to see them being cared for so well. You're a true angel 🤗🤗
Alex seeing you with your new bird makes me both sad and happy all at once. Sad he has had the go through all of the neglect but happy because he now has you in his life. I save dogs and I have seen some horrible things. I did not realize this was happening to birds. Watching you with your lovely birds just makes me love watching you more. Thank you for bringing this to your viewer’s attention. Your are such a beautiful soul. I hope you have a beautiful day! 🥰🥰🥰
That poor baby. I'm so grateful he came to you. I can help dogs and cats and other big animals but I know nothing about birds so I'm also grateful that people have different skills with helping animals 💜
Awwww Errol is so lovely and sweet, how can people treat any animal so cruelly😢heart breaking to think what he must of been through😭but he will now be living his best life for sure , thank you so much Alex, you are such a gem 💎
My daughter got lice from school a couple years ago and I would spend hours picking thru her hair and popping them like pimples. It took so long to get rid of them. Every time I thought they were gone they'd come right back. I finally had to get a prescription from the dr to get rid of them. I've done the same thing to my cats that have had a flea infestation, spend hours popping them like zits.
It makes me angry that some people are saying bad things about you when you clearly have just started showing you and your struggles. Personaly I think these "real videos" are the best content you have ever made. As someone who loves pet and has my mental health struggles your content is something I relate to. Thank you for being real.
My mom and I lost our first dog earlier this summer and yesterday we picked up our new dog. She's a foster to adopt rescue and we are still getting to know her, but watching you rescue birds and give them the best lives they deserve gives me all the warmth. That's why we rescued this dog. We don't know much about her past, but she deserves a loving and caring home too. Thank you for your dedication to your rescues.
I don't know heaps about birds but I do know they're pretty prone to panic and stressing out - the fact that Errol is shaking, but also not freaking the f out and trying to fly away, to me it seems he's SO grateful for the care you're giving him. Those mites must be dreadful. Poor thing
I've known Errol for about thirty seconds but I adore him. I hope his infected eye gets better quickly. It looks like he's learned to trust you quite a lot over just a few days!
I so admire Alex taking such care of Errol. I found it a little difficult to watch, but that is on me (not fond of creepy crawlies). With an infestation like that, there is a good chance of anemia (at least there would be in mammals). Hopefully there is a nearby veterinarian who specializes in birds. I would consider keeping that 2-piece outfit, even though it is vintage with tags. It looks so beautiful on. Maybe keep the tags with the garment? Not all vintage needs to be kept in isolation, in the dark. Give it some love, treat it with respect (aka wash without harmful chemicals) wear it to someplace special. After all, that is what the OG owner, the designer, would want for the garment. Don't stress about it though, all these vintage items can be kept until the end of this series.
Errol 😭 I cannot tollerate animal neglect, I adopt senior cats from rescues and they are always listed as violent but all they really need is space and some love and respect 💔 I'm so glad he's in a safe home with people who will take good care of him.
I don't know if this would help you any, Alex. I've tried it for three days now and it's helped me to do productive things about the house. When I get home from work or wherever, I spend 30 minutes cleaning up. Set a timer and off I go! So far I haven't done more than one of these timed cleans a day but it's helping. I've also tried to get into the habit of putting items back where they go when I'm done with them instead of setting them down wherever's convenient.
Oh I felt so bad for the little boy! He's really getting so much love from you though and he seemed like he was happy about it. Hope he's feeling better soon! ❤😥❤
What precious birds, it's so satisfying watching Errol get more and more free of the lice (and infection) and imaginng him feeling better with each moment❤ ps: maybe you could have tidy up hour everyday (even 20/30 minutes... at a specific time or after a specific activity like breakfast) and a more thorough Clean Up Day once every 2 weeks or something.
I'm so happy you found Errol and were able to save him from that awfulness. The lice part of the video made me hella itchy, but I'm so glad he has your help. You're such a beautiful soul. I think no amount of medication could've stopped me from trying to get that nastiness off of him, too. And you were definitely tidying up! I adore you as always. 💜💜💜
Errol is the cutest, thank you for saving him! I once treated an abandoned kitten for fleas and you could literally see them jumping from his fur, so sad. But all the TLC paid of, so I’m sure Errol will recover as well. All the best for you 💕
I loved seeing this video. Seeing someone show so much compassion and care to another living thing can be in short supply sometimes. I’m not a bird person. I love them but from a distance. Errol is so lucky to have to you in his life. They way you show him care made my heart sing. This also counts as tidy up Tuesday. Errol needed you more that your suitcase. Much love to you
Awww Alex he’s so cute 🥹 he’s so good too, he’s just letting you help him. He 100% knows you’re helping him Quick edit: It’s honestly a good thing you stayed up that late doing that for him. I don’t fault you at all for staying up late killing the eggs on him. I would’ve done the same
Poor birb! You have such a gentle soul Alex! Watching you in the last couple of weeks and seeing you journey and encouragement for all of us is amazing! Thank you so much!
Hi Alex. Thank you so much for your videos. I lost my Dad to cancer 3 weeks ago, and just been at his funeral last Thursday. My mental health has been extremely bad since I got news of his diagnosis a few months back. It all happened very quickly. Your daily reminders have helped me so much. I have been so lost and you have helped by giving me some direction. Me and my dad used to bird watch all the time and I wish to start again in his memory. What camera and lens do you use? I know nothing of cameras but I don’t want that to stop me. Thank you again.
Bless you for caring so sweetly for all of your animals, especially lovely Errol. It sounds like you rescued him from hell. I think your flow-state nit picking counts as tidying up - you tidied up your birdie! :)
I have always been scared of birds and now I think they are almost as sweet as furry friends, love you and all your fluffy wonderful birdies, and lucky of course too!
Poor Errol, such a sweet birb and so patient. I am sure he can tell you're helping him. I definitely get the hyperfixation "can't stop" aspect of OCD, I will occasionally get into that "can't stop until perfect" de-matting my boy Binx and bless that kitty, he's so patient with me when I get into that mood, and he let's me know when he's done. For my 30 day challenge I'm trying to sketch something once a day (a few times I'll get bonus sketches). I haven't done today's since I still need to feed myself, and make a cup of tea, but after that, I'm gonna do it (and post it for accountability).
Thank you so much for doing these videos Alex, I'm not diagnosed with ADHD or anything but cleaning besides someone and having someone to remind me to brush my teeth and hair has been amazing for me
Seing you with the birds is so heartwarming and inspirational. Even when we struggle ourselves, we can still help others and make someones world a little bit better, like you are showing us here. Seeing you handle the birds with such care and knowledge, I'm truly in awe. I hope to one day be in a position where I can help rescue dogs. It's one of the things that keep me going through tough times. Someone needs us, even when we feel that we feel that we are totally useless. We might not be able to save THE world but we can save someones world ❤️☮️ Sorry for sounding like a preacher 😅
Oh, sweet boy. I found myself cheering him on. "Get the bath sweetie, you can do it." He is so lucky to have had you find him. Time blindness with ADHD/ADD is real. I am really bad about losing track of time when I am hyperfocusing.
Thanks for helping him. I have rescued a few animals before. The worst was a rabbit. His entire cage was poop and urine. It was compacted. his fur was matted, his nails were so long they were curled and he was covered in sores. He was locked in a closed room for years and was fed packaged treats and bird seeds only. BIRD SEEDS. He lived for only around 5 years but was the sweetest soul.
Errol is so cute and big. I have a really hard time with fixating on things and just lacking energy for certain activities too it's nice to see I'm not alone in this. I hope things improve for us both. See you tomorrow!
It’s so sad to see an animal being treated in such a bad way. The good thing to come out of it for him is that he now has a loving home and someone who will care for him properly. ❤
omg gonna save this video for after lunch! my room is so messy because i've been out of the house a lot lately. OMG ERROL IS A CUTIE, alex you're amazing, you're literally changing the lifes of so many birbs
Not to play favorites, but Errol is my favorite. Probably because The Adventures of Robin Hood with Tasmania’s own Errol Flynn is one of my favorite movies. I’m sorry you had such an off day, I wish I could give you a hug.
I would LOVE to see video of the whole process, ingrown feather pulling and all!! I absolutely love these videos!!! You've helped me realize some of my "weird" things are related to mental health. And in realizing that, I am making those lists of things that HAVE to be done😁🤦♀️ Thank you💜💜
So glad to see Errol has got you to take care of him, poor thing. It’s so sad to see that someone had let him get into such a state. Looking forward to seeing more of him and seeing his progress. It looks like you’re already forming a special bond ❤
Accidentally double dosed my medications yesterday (Tuesday our time) and suddenly became like a normal person. I managed to do laundry, wash dishes, tidy my apartment and do groceries. All in one day. Usually it's a good day if I can do just one of those things. /Also Errol is a precious baby.
Oh gosh I don't think I would be able to every put Errol down he's so precious I'd just want to cuddle him forever 🥺🖤🖤🖤🖤 I hope one day I'll be able to adopt a pigeon I love to admire them and would love one of my own.
I’m glad that you’re trying new toothpastes since discovering the burning sensation is not intentional (like a mild minty tingle is normal but it shouldn’t be painful). I stayed using young kids ones for way longer than I should have (probs the reason I had fillings in baby teeth 😅) because of my psychological reaction to anything mint flavoured and disliking the fruity older kids ones (rare kid who hated calpol flavour here). I’ve managed to ease myself into minty things starting with toothpaste as I’ve gotten older so I hope you manage to work out what you’re reacting to in adult toothpastes and find one that works for you!
Errol has benefited. Like how can you stop when he’s so happy being cleaned 🥺🥺 it just sucks it wasn’t a “willing” hyper-fixation and that it went so long.
I relate so much to how you feel about finishing tasks. I will spend 12-16 hours on one task so long as I know I can finish the entire step in one session
Breaks my heart that someone would do that to an animal especially an innocent bird 🐦 💔 😔. Im so glad you are there to take care of him! Made me tear up a little bit seeing him that way... 1 thing that helps me to keep up with tidying up is setting a timer (20 min) and picking a spot or room and I go until the timer is done. I make sure I spend the whole time cleaning, and if something needs to go in another room I wait until the timer goes off, then I take it to the other room :) it does help :) I hope it helps you ☆☆
I've looked forward to watching these videos every morning for the past three weeks! It was really lovely watching Errol being taken such good care of.
I absolutely love this new two piece! I always think that things are meant to be enjoyed but it is of course always up to you. Errol is so cute!! What a handsome boy 💖 I like to think that you were just so mesmerised by how wonderful he is. It is a credit to how amazing you are that he trusts you so much and so willingly. He looks so much better after his long bath and sleep, Errol was definitely ready for that relaxing pamper season. Love you Alex! Xxx
Also, keep the skirt and sell the top!
I absolutely love that this series is more pigeon content that the actual thrifted parcels
i know! i almost never actually am watching when she opens the parcel cuz i love this as a podcast (except when the birds on screen)
@@Brushbell same! I clean or cook with Alex:)
Yes!!!!!
Alex is regaining her public presence as Mother of Birbs. Fly here kindred spirits, we shall frolic, feed and discuss mental health🐦🕊
That poor baby, makes me so mad to see an animal so neglected and in a terrible state. Errol is a lucky boy to have you as his Mum, he'll have the best life now!!!❤️🕊

Errol seems like such a gentle bird! I may not be a bird person, but it's really upsetting to know someone could let any animal be in such a state.

Both those outfits were gorgeous but I think the blue top would look better without anything under it.
You tidied lovely Errol!! It counts!!
Tidying up is cleaning up and she was definitely cleaning something in this case a bird.
Absolutely does count in my opinion.
The big question is, is PrettyPastel's sidequest in reality just Alex's way of gently easing her surroundings into accepting her new life as a pigeon/bird rescuer
I hope so!
Poor Errol. Thanks for saving him. Adopt don’t shop!
This!!
So true 🙌
alex i cant tell you how much this series has helped me with my mental health. you're always reminding us that its okay to struggle and not to be embarrassed of things. i'm finally getting up and cleaning my room today and i'm going to rewatch the series all day to get things done. thank you for existing ♥︎
This broke my heart. That poor sweet boy! How could someone do that to a living thing. That bird just hit the jackpot when you rescued him Alex.
It's incredible how your steadiness, patience and gentleness completely changed his reaction to you and that he allowed you to shower and bathe him!
Errol is so sweet. Poor thing. How could anyone abuse or hurt animals….it hurts my heart so much. But you rescuing and loving these animals after what they’ve been through fills me with hope and love. Thank you Alex for loving them and giving them a new life!!!

This is very true, I always wait 2-2 1/2 hours after I've taken my meds before taking my supplements, and that has helped :)
Thank you!! I’ll do that tomorrow 😄
You are so sweet to let her know what might work better for her health wise!!
@@prettypastelsidequest watch out for hidden caffeine in your supplements as well!
Thank you for loving and taking care of Errol. He's such a sweet boy. I will admit I came for Archie, but I stayed for Alex. You sharing all of what you have been through, is making me realize that its damn time that I took care of myself.
I've never known anyone who loves birds and I've learned so much from you! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Ive been dealing with a depressive episode that makes it hard to get out of bed. so Ive been back watching your whole 100 days and got to this one. something about the way you opened this video really helped me get up and start my day, even though its quite late now. so I just wanted to say thank you
there are people doing construction outside my window, and to access my kitchen and bathroom I sometimes have to walk by an opened garage. so your comments on the previous video about having electricians in your space making it hard to function rang true
It's so sweet you're welcoming Errol to the flock! He seems like a gentle soul ☺️
These are great suggestions! I also vouch for Ivermectin, works great.
Errol is a borb🤭 Lovely that you gave him a home and take such good care of him. Pigeons are great pets.
You tidied up Errol! You did a great thing. Don’t beat yourself up
Alex seeing you with your new bird makes me both sad and happy all at once.
Poor thing
Poor poor Errol thank you for looking after him so well Alex and getting him healthy and happy again.
Errol 😭
I cannot tollerate animal neglect, I adopt senior cats from rescues and they are always listed as violent but all they really need is space and some love and respect 💔
I'm so glad he's in a safe home with people who will take good care of him.
Such a good birb. He's scared but doing so well with being handled and cleaned/treated
What a sweet natured little guy. Poor thing. He is going to love you for the rest of his life. I love birds 🐦. Thank you for helping him.
I'm absolutely head over heels in love with Errol 😭❤️
What a handsome dude ❤️
You take SUCH good care of the animals in your life. It’s beautiful to see.
It would be nice if we could all have this kind of patient care after going through trauma 🥺
Thank you for taking care of him Alex ❤
He 100% knows you’re helping him
Quick edit: It’s honestly a good thing you stayed up that late doing that for him. I don’t fault you at all for staying up late killing the eggs on him. I would’ve done the same
Poor boy. I got angry when I heard what he went through. I'm so glad he is with you. You have a beautiful heart Alex💖
Poor birb! You have such a gentle soul Alex!
Watching you in the last couple of weeks and seeing you journey and encouragement for all of us is amazing! Thank you so much!
I love how chill Erol is! Such a sweet boy!
OMG THE LICE AT THE END of the bath HAD ME SPPOOOOKED ! you're so nice to bath him and help him!!
Oh my god the pigeon is so precious, poor little guy 😭 you are a hero Alex 😢💜
Thank you so much for doing these videos Alex, I'm not diagnosed with ADHD or anything but cleaning besides someone and having someone to remind me to brush my teeth and hair has been amazing for me
I love learning about birds from you and seeing all the love. Erroll, and all your birds, are very lucky to have you.
poor birdie, i'm so glad you're helping him and giving him a happy home!
"Get the bath sweetie, you can do it."
He is so lucky to have had you find him.
Time blindness with ADHD/ADD is real. I am really bad about losing track of time when I am hyperfocusing.
I love seeing all of these beautiful birds you saving.
That poor bird but now the rest of his life can be wonderful with you❤
I would LOVE to see video of the whole process, ingrown feather pulling and all!!
I absolutely love these videos!!!
You've helped me realize some of my "weird" things are related to mental health. And in realizing that, I am making those lists of things that HAVE to be done😁🤦♀️
Thank you💜💜
PS I love watching these videos after a long day when I need to relax. I find your voice & the stream of consciousness is very calming & relaxing💜
Thank you for rescuing that sweet boy Errol
So glad to see Errol has got you to take care of him, poor thing. It’s so sad to see that someone had let him get into such a state. Looking forward to seeing more of him and seeing his progress. It looks like you’re already forming a special bond ❤
Please, please keep us all up to date with Errol! what a sweetie
Ah, Errol is such a sweetheart. You're such a good bird mama.
Alex, bless your soul for saving the poor baby ❤
Errol has benefited. Like how can you stop when he’s so happy being cleaned 🥺🥺 it just sucks it wasn’t a “willing” hyper-fixation and that it went so long.
I relate so much to how you feel about finishing tasks. I will spend 12-16 hours on one task so long as I know I can finish the entire step in one session
Alex I am curious if you are ever going to make a dedicated bird room/sancuatry in your house? Or do you/they prefer them to be in different rooms?
Breaks my heart that someone would do that to an animal especially an innocent bird 🐦 💔 😔. Im so glad you are there to take care of him! Made me tear up a little bit seeing him that way...
1 thing that helps me to keep up with tidying up is setting a timer (20 min) and picking a spot or room and I go until the timer is done. I make sure I spend the whole time cleaning, and if something needs to go in another room I wait until the timer goes off, then I take it to the other room :) it does help :) I hope it helps you ☆☆
omg Poor birby friend! Alex, what a nice thing your doing such a nice thing! This is one of the many reasons your beautiful inside and out!
Xxx
