On this weeks Video
we have a 2013 Supercharged Holden SS-V Redline ute that makes over 586hp! The VF Holden SS-V is the top of the range holden that was built to be track focused and compete with HSV.
the 6.0L V8 feels so powerfull and torquieee!
In side the SS-V its a really well done interior with lots of nice accents and stitching throughout and the big comfy seats just felt so good.
This modified Holden really does feel like HSV speed! even to call it better than the LSA i reviewed only a few months back.

Great review! Those would do well here in the U.S. I didn't realize Holden stopped making cars over there. I love your 70's muscle cars! I showed this to my son (he gets his love of cars from me), he was blown away by it.

In all honesty it’s price is pretty high for a near 7year old car.. but that supercharged v8 sounds almost good enough to justify the price tag..great Ute holden made..and top review as always 👌👌👌
i know the price seems high n it probably is lol but unfortunately i think this will be the new norm for cars like this.. good condition ones like this will only go up in value.. cheers for watching :)
@@RossReviewsau The Chevy SS, Caprice PPV, Pontiac G8, and the last Pontiac GTO will probably go up in value in the US in a few years. The cheapest Aussie import V8 sedan is the Caprice PPV. You can get one for half the price of the Chevy SS or G8 with the V8.
ATX-CVPI I would agree all these cars will trend upwards as they are not being made any more and there isn’t much that competes with them anymore! End of an era for sure 😥
All the VF,S have gone up in price. The HSV,S Have been going up in price every week 🤐

My sister drives a VF series 2, walky upgrade, she loves it.

The front wheels in the my13 where chrome wheels not the black, they were only offered in the my15, the last before the series two came out and even they had the black wheels and the reserve redlines series two had the same wheels but not painted so the alloy finish. Also the MY15 has better seat cushioning compared to the first series out. Also a few other upgrades almost the same as the series two, other than the engine and rear brembos breaks and larger rotors, which i had them fitted to my15 sedan. :)

I love Aussie utes. I got ve, vz, ve SS utes and BF xr8 and BF xr6 turbo utes. All bought used but still good condition and pretty much all stock. Dad's got a couple maloo utes. I'll get them one day too. Hodl

Nice mate, cannot doubt the smile these VF SSV's put on your dial when you put the boot into it. I have a VFSSV Series II Manual. Only has 10,000KMS on the clock. Keeping her well kept... maybe just tack on some fuel consumption next time? I want a bolt on supercharger and know you don't get em for fuel savings but stats are nice to know. Cheers man.

I had a silver 15 SS 6 speed over here in the States. Sold it to start building my house, Miss it every day. I had big, expensive plans for that car.

I would be bolting a piece of 1700 x 450 x 25mm steel plate in the tray over the rear axle to keep the back end planted a bit better........ especially near a wet road. It is only around 150 kg.......... but it would make a lot of difference...........
My VE SS manual sedan has nowhere near that power......... that did not stop it from wanting to step out changing through the lower gears on a wet road........put my tools and what not in the boot about 100kg......... does not sound like much but it is such a big difference in the wet........ it makes the Continental Max Contacts stick like........on a blanket.

dspada67 I would say the SS is faster at the top end... but you can’t put the power on in this car😅 spins the tires to easily! The RS4 with its all wheel drive was just so grippy I could almost flat foot that car and it wound hold on👌 fastest 4 door car I’ve ever driven I can confidently say
@@RossReviewsau its all about the tyres you have on the SS. get some proper tyres and it'll hook and go no problem. doesn't' have to be drag radials either although that would be better. semi slicks or some michelin pilot cup 2's will do the job.
@@MegaUnavailableusern this is valid point.. but if you have watched that RS4 (supercharged) review i did.. i honestly think there's no way the holden would keep up at least on a circuit.. i love the aussie stuff but that audi was something else😬
I first bought an NA XR6, currently have a boosted Barra but now I wana own a V8. That sound is just ridiculous.

I have a 2017 Chevrolet ss.
Completely holden conversion front rear and sides. Interior airbag and cluster and android upgrade head unit with holden load up screen everything holden.
Next are seats to get rid off the American ss logo and the dash ss logo. That is all that's left.
At the moment at Koza Performance getting the LS3 fully forged from top to bottom and forged internals and a turbo kit. 7685 precision turbo and at the moment shooting for 1200 to 1400 hp.
I wanted a LSA OR Kong 2650. But superchargers on these cars have been done to death. Even tho I still want this style boost so bad. I went turbo to be alittle different.

The only thing wrong with VE VF are the pillars I've nearly hit a few people at crossings because they can get in line with the piller all the way until their virtually Infront of the car

They are nice cars indeed. My dad and myself both bought a VFII variant each. He bought a VFII SSV R/L Wagon in Jungle Green and I bought a VFII SSV R/L Ute in Heron White.
Unfortunately I had to sell my Ute due to having a baby and running a LS3 powered V8 wasn't exactly cost effective 😂 miss that bad boy!

@@RossReviewsau Cheers mate. Yeah mate they look great lowered. My Ute was nicely lowered, had sports armour on the front bar, nice and dark windows, black tray cover, bee sting antenna, blacked out indicator slots, pure white xenon lights, custom black and white license plates. That was just the visuals that I changed on it, it looked the part for sure.
The wagons look great, they put some real nice tail lights on them for the VFII run, look awesome at night!
Man even the basic interiors that Holden makes are better then the top of the line Fords it's crazy.
Imagine the HSV variants with diamond stitch everything. They are out of this world. I'm in the US and my Chevy SS converted to Holden SS. Is gonna get a HSV interior.

Great review, but style didn’t quite stay the same. The front end of the VF series 2 was heavily revised, with VF series 2 wagon and sedans also getting revised tail lights also.
Arguably Holden’s biggest change to a series 2 model (over the series 1) ever.
Jordan Hevesi after a closer look I think your right😅 they always seemed similar to me but your right they got new wheels, new front grill, tail lights

Everyone raves about the manual but as you can see, if you have heaps of horsepower you just cannot get traction.... Especially in a ute.
yah i mean this one was on the limit i reckon.. i was laying down strips at some points in this video.. lol you really have to control your right foot the more power you add

The same supercharger setup from hsv only gave the last gts 320 something kilowatts at the rear wheels! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Doug not same supercharged setup. The Lsa is a 1900 blower this is a 2300 blower with a cam upgrade

I love both but I lean towards fords as they seem to drive “better” if that the right word🤷♂️ n I love the barra.. the power delivery on a high powered turbo straight six to me is just unbeatable! I love em both but if I was to pick one it would probably be a Barra ford

The Holden i think is the better car for drivability and interior quality.. but I would go the Xr6turbo.. they both are really fun cars to drive but I love how the Xr6turbo delivers its power🔥

@@gdawwg1125 Not trying to be a dick dude but especially nowadays u don't need turbos the size of a head to make power, i understand a good amount do run big turbos but that's for the falcons getting really up there in the power figures which understandably have a lot of lag even if they are a full on drag weapon. But to make the same amount of power as the commy Ute in the video u wouldn't be looking at 5 seconds of lag. And once it hits boost it wouldn't be even comparable even so i think commys especially the series 2 vf are a lot more fun, falcons just feel numb especially in the twisty's.
I see why the English say the Australian accent is a mix of British and Texas. 😂

Stock 8-9's good so lets say 4-5's.

Justin Palmero it was made as a track car from factory.. this is not stock.. and trust me first gear will smoke and second if you plant your foot.. I left lines just driving how I was in 2nd!
