Welcome to another Episode of Ross Reviews AU on this weeks Video we head over to QLD to check out Brendos 2005 HSV VZ Clubsport (in Devil Yellow) a dream car of mine personally but... this one is not stock.. its got a Big Single Turbo fitted to the 6L LS2 and a T400 Gearbox.. this VZ frys its tyres no worries! an absolute rig!

What an amazing build. I love everything about this VZ. The retrimmed interior, the colour and the mixed sound of the LS rumble and the turbo flutter. The owner sure has put some great work into this car. It would be so much fun to drive. Thanks for the review.

What an awesome machine. I’ve owned a VE HSV GTS, but this one is definitely a better looking car, inside and out. I was hopeful it would put the power down better with a truetrac diff, but even that seems asking too much of those tyres.

Great review mate.. personally turbo ls kills the sound off a v8 for me. It takes away that nice deep raw v8 sound. Turbo ls create crazy power tho dont get me wrong still love them if your chasing higher numbers tho..just for me nothing beats the sound off a blown ls tho

Went in this at powercruise looks better in person and sounds better in person can’t even explain how tuff this car is saw youse at frydays aswell had that gold Nissan navara there towing my mates Vz senator and was on the track in my other mates gold vn on methanol

Theses ls2 can handle abit off power on a sbe. Any more then 500 thats when id start to worry 430 would be a safe sweet spot in my eyes depending on how you drive is considered aswell and how it was looked after..any recommendations on how much they could handle. As im thinking off doing more wrk to my vz clubby... im at 408 with a 2300 but thinking of a mild cam with higgins heads for that more mid to high end range
meant to be safe azz at this level.. he uses the power regularly and man it just pulls strong and solid! great response too
@@Simeon301091not exactly as usually when an engines is gunna blow up its usually pretty early in its life and the older the engine the lower the compression which is exactly what the engines needs runing a turbo

Don’t think he had specific tires.. I think it’s just the way the turbo comes on.. not linear..
@@RossReviewsau thanks Ross. What I ment is I'm comfortable with the traction. Do you know what tyres he had by any chance. Pulls hard they didn't break traction couple times. And I want to by the same tyres😁
