The differences and similarities to Army MP Basic is what interests me. The ARMY is ahead in the mixing of males and females at MP School. First off, Army MPs go through OSUT: One Station Unit Training. What that means is the Males and females go through training together for both Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training in the same Platoon/Company (I guess it would be flight/Wing in the AF). So, they do the whole bit with the SAME DRILL SERGEANTS. The only other MOS that did that before they opened Combat Arms up to females, is the NBC (I have no clue what they call them now) MOS. Of Course, the Army does more Combat-Tactics than the AF does, but that's more to do with the different roles than anything else. The Army is the only Service that does OSUT. The Coast Guard and Navy trains females and males together in their respective Boot Camps. Come on AF, it's a New Century! The whole "get off the bus, get on, get off again" sets the tone of "I'm in control, you do what I say, when I say to do it". It's a Psychological tool. Every Service does it, and every Police and Correctional Academy does it as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Fire Fighter Academies did it as well. Army MPs are more Field Focused. They do Road, Gate, Special Area Protection, Traffic Accident Investigation, SRT, MPI, AWOL Apprehension, K-9, PSD......MP is also a designator for "Multi-Purpose". Security Forces Run the TAI and K9 Schools at Lackland AFB. I honestly think they get more LE training, whereas MPs get a lot of OJT at their first Duty Station. If you are interested in the AFSF, and can't get in the Air Force. The Army will probably take you. You will know your job when you enlist. I got a little off topic. Sorry. I really DO have PTSD from experiences in Iraq.

Got out of active duty June 1980, went to the Tulsa Air National Guard July 1980, Security Police. Then Civil Engineering as a construction equipment operator. Until I retired May of 1996.
I went to 322 TRS. Graduated and walked across the street to Security Forces squadron. I’m going to say a word that may strike fear into Airmen. SnakePit!
Very interesting video specially for me being as a medical student cause I m interested exploring army life.i have only watch half but I have to post this question for my curiosity, why is military personnel given “penicillin “ or “peanut butter “ shot? As I know that penicillin is used to fight against infection , is it because military personnel are more prone to infection due to different travelling location ?
My recruiter told me you have to prove you are. Like with a doctor's statement or whatnot so they know you're not lying. But who knows maybe my recruiter is lying 🤷 . I wouldn't risk it though. I ship out July 30th

You pick the job with your recruiter and you wait till you get picked up for it and then Mel’s there’s 2 times you will swear in the first is for the DEP program and then the second is right before you leave
