Its hard to debate with you decision to spend $60K on a new car that has zero mileage or getting a iconic/legendary JDM car that will cause more maintenance down the road and that depreciates more when you drive it and put some more mileage in to it. That is one of my concerns if when I’m saving money can I put that money in to a brand new car or getting a JDM car that will work more along the way? Great video in these auction out in Japan.

Looks like the Japanese market is having the same effect as the NZ market atm - lots of high reserves, not a lot of selling, and a scared buyers market that doesn't want to spend the money that these things are going for. Having just sold a few 180SX's - theyre definitely coming down in price.
Love these videos. If possible wish we could get an idea on what these cars are currently selling for and what a reasonable price would be. As someone, like myself, just looking more into these cars I'd love to have a good idea of if it'll be worth while to get a car like a R34. Some places I've seen asking 100-255k for a mint R34 and at that point I'd just get a used R35 for between 70-80K instead locally instead if the prices are that crazy for a R34 with 40-70K miles on it

Loving all the icon Japanese cars, but for me if I had money to burn i'd buy them and restore them if necessary. But since I don't I might not ever get an icon car to me. But just roll with whatever I can get and is more reasonable to buy as a commuter but can also be a fun and reliable car.
Bro you can do it, it’s a choice not to get your dream or icon car , if you really want it you can make it happen, I’m only 24 and got a 20k original mile R32 GTST type M as my second car to my daily (even though it isn’t a GTR it’s close enough for me) . I may pay $700 in car payments monthly between my 2 cars but it is 100% worth it
That Kouki was a Deep Fuchsia Autech. Rare color with rare option package. Collector car.
Wery nice. How much?
@@revvolutions I’m not selling it or selling one. Just know they are rare and that color is one of the rarest for s-chassis’.
