I opted for switching Sprint to L1 instead of L3 with Sprint Toggle Off since L1 is used for nothing outside of flying. I've gone through four DualSense controllers already that all got stick drift in just a few months of use that I'm paranoid of pressing the sticks excessively. It's also familiar to how TLOU and RE2/3 have sprint on one of the bumpers.
@@eden20111 I actually switched to the DS2 controls, didn’t notice they were pretty much the same to my custom ones (Haven’t played DS2 before). The custom ones fucked up the fly rotating and taking off/landing, unless you remap rotation from L1 to something else. In DS2 controls those are turned off and taking off/landing os on L3 which you can’t map seperately from default.
Good idea with changing from R3 to L1 for sprint. Gonna do the same now. I feel you on the stick drift issues. This is my third controller within a year for that very same issue. I wish Sony were called out more on this, as it's clearly a big fault in the dual sense. Their solution seems to be offering a pro controller costing four times as much with replaceable sticks, instead of fixing the egregious flaw in their standard dual sense. Good one.
@@JamesV1 lol. Lots of people use it. Why so negative about something that drastically improves your aiming ability? I guess some people will cry about anything
I still can’t find what option to tweak to be able to hear the audio from calls, audio logs, FaceTime calls, etc. While I play the game live, I can hear everything. But when I replay the video I uploaded, you can’t hear npc’s audio. It has been bothering me from the first video i upped. Can’t find a solution. If anyone here knows about these issues, I’d appreciate the help.
@@KriticalKris feel like mentioning this to you is a bit of an input error in the Dead Space 1 control scheme triangle is the button that opens the rig but triangle also opens the the map floors on the input and I can't seem to use it it just closes the rig what should I do about that?

One thing I'll say is that the control sensitivity is too high for aiming and can't be lowered independently
Same here. I came to see if I was missing something. It way too high when aiming down sight. But too slow when looking around (not aiming down sights)
Yeah, I feel like the aim sensitivity should have it's own slider, hopefully this gets updated in the near future
Put the look sensitivity on 80, and turn on aim assistance it will help slow down the aiming.
same here
I have the same issue the 3rd person camera has the same sensitivity as the aiming mode, it's really really weird I don't understand why they did that
An option to disable the stick acceleration while aiming would be great.
Must say I'm a little disappointed they left out classic aiming
Subscribed. I didn't think to pit stick sensitivity at 0 and then crank axis speed. Thank you for posting this.

is the sprint button the only change you needed to make compared to the dead space 2 control layout?

I switched from L3 to L1 as well with the sequel's controls, but I have no idea what a 'bumper' is.

Good timing, just got this an hour ago
EA needs to add gyro aiming. The fact that it's not an option makes me wonder if the people designing these games actually play them

How do you turn off the trigger affect for the L2 and R2
did you figure it out😢
Go to your PlayStation settings and turn trigger effects off.

So you can’t invert x camera axis?
My melee and stomp don't work, any ideas? I'm on ps5
Your remote broken ? lol
how do you turn off haptic feedback in game?
you can´t, you have to do it in the console options.

So no dolby atmos support!!?? WTF!!
Dobly atmos doesnt need to be activated in the settings its supported automatically its a 3rd party audio software .
