Thank you, Darryl, for taking the time to create this video. I never considered setting up a dial for the JPEG profiles before. I'll be using Monochrom on the screen during my walk tomorrow and will update you in a couple of days.
Hey Mark, did you end up getting the M6 or MP in the end?
I set my top button as 10x zoom to help focus, the roller wheel as the default exposure compensation, and LV as b&w high contrast - to help with focus peaking. I set my shutter speed to where I think is most appropriate for the lens and let the ISO wander to anything below 8,000. The aperture gets set to what I’m shooting. If I’m doing portraits with the 90, I’ll add the visoflex to the equation..

I really need to try the new Nikon mirrorless cameras, I hear very good things about the AF system. I have a video coming soon on a new old stock Nikon F100 I got a couple of weeks ago, just need to get around to developing the film 😉
Thanks for sharing, cool set up. I set the dial next to the cycle through digital zoom. I set my profile to 18 MP mostly, so the Digital zoom is basically a hack to make it 60 MP. I uncrop it in post.

Hi, I have a question, unrelated to this video, but the previous one :) Did you use Billingham Hadley One for travel and is it possible to use it as a carry on bag? Thanks
I fly mostly with AirNZ, you can have both a backpack and a laptop back for carryon at the same time. So the Hadley One is my laptop bag carry on 😉
I have started doing Thorsten Overgaards metering thing of center weighted amd 2/3 negative ev comp. The highlight protection mode hasnt worked as well for me sadly, compared to say Nikon. Good lens choices btw, i use the same and theyre holding up well for such old designs.
Thanks for the info, will test the center weighted 2/3 neg ev over the weekend😉 The metering is better on the M11 than it was on the M10 models, but no where as good as Nikon. The last Nikons I shot was the D5 and that was the best metering I have ever used. I do miss my Nikon D5’s but do not miss the weight 🤣

I was having lockups with the M11-P when using Sandisk cards. Now I'm using the Angelbird V90 and saving images to both SD card and internal memory, I'm not getting any issues with the M11-P.
@@DarrylCarey Thanks for the update. So it was Sandisk cards that was causing the issues...That's very good news to know!

Rangefinder HK prices are good compared to buying brand new here in NZ. Was curious if you knew the ball park $ for duty fees?
That will depended on what you buy from Rangefinder, if you send them an email they will be more than happy to help answer your questions.
@@DarrylCarey Just used the online duty estimator, comes to ~NZ$2K for the 11-P. Still well below what they're charging here...hmmm tempting

256GB in a Leica is ridiculous.
100% with you on that, they are only SD cards have right now. But it’s worth it if the M11-P is not locking up like it did with my Sandisk cards 😁

@@gewglesux Its more than enough, but it does match the internal memory and its sold the M11-P locking up.

Hi Dave, I followed the way you set up to set jpg to mono HC, however now even if I change to shoot DNG the m11p still shoots in mono than colour? Isn't😂 it supposed to only shoot mono photo in Jpg format and keep DNG in colour?
