That was beautiful, the little darling was enraptured, surrounded by Mary's great spiritual love. I was once fortunate enough to receive a visitation from the Holy Spirit in the form of an illuminated dove. I was totally surrounded by that very beautiful, very strong, deep love. Her reaction reminded me of that experience. Our Lady loves us all, especially the little ones.

I have it on Fb as well and I used to try to read the comments but it got to be too many. And a large portion of those were positive!! I’m so glad it brings inspiration and hope to people. It just blew me away because she had been afraid of the statue previously. And while we were just playing in the yard one day (it was Palm Sunday actually.) she did this. We attend church but not regularly. And her being so young she was always held in the pew until she fell asleep. I know she’s seen the congregation kneel at the pews but never had she seen anyone kneel before any statues. Our church has a statue of Mary but it’s on the left hand side high up on the wall. And we sit on the right hand side. And it’s painted. So I can’t see her at 14 months old putting all of that together. Then after she bowed, she placed her hand on the statues arm! Like she was saying, “Goodbye friend”or “I understand!” I kept talking to her to keep her from being scared. But in all honesty I it caught me off guard so I didn’t know how to react or what else to say. I should’ve just stopped talking and let her have her moment. We still attend church and still not as often as I’d like. All she wants to do is play and eat snacks. She’s 3 so it’s hard to keep her still. But I’m trying. I used to consider myself a “seasonal” Catholic when I was a child. Ya, know attend for Easter/Christmas. When she was born, It was my goal to have her christened Catholic. Which we did when she was 8 months old. After that we tried to attend every week but it didn’t always work out. Plus at that age, I would hold her and she would nap during the services. This video was taken on Palm Sunday, which of course we attended that day so we could go for Easter service. We were playing in my mom’s front yard. I didn’t think she would go up to the statue because she had been afraid of it. I thought she was going to climb up the stairs. So I just kept recording. I should’ve stayed quiet and let her have her moment. I even laughed kind of nervously at the end. I was just blown away. It was not planned, it was not rehearsed. Just something she did on her own. Thank you! Yes, when she touched the eye, I didn't think much of it until after I watched the video a few times. But then the very next day, Noter Dame Cathedral burned down in Paris. So I can't help but wonder if maybe tears were shed for that. And Emma Jo saw it. Or maybe tears for the world! So many thoughts and theories have flooded my mind!

Thank you! Yes, when she touched the eye, I didn't think much of it until after I watched the video a few times. But then the very next day, Noter Dame Cathedral burned down in Paris. So I can't help but wonder if maybe tears were shed for that. And Emma Jo saw it. Or maybe tears for the world! So many thoughts and theories have flooded my mind!
