The more stuff people can share the better l reckon. Looks like you're going to do something l have been wondering about. Custom battery packs. lt will be really interesting to see how things like performance and range are affected by the reconfiguration. l'm also interested to see how you handle battery box sealing , venting and waterproofing given this is going to be a floor mounted version l'm assuming . Cheers.

This battery is designed much as many other non-Tesla EVs but with the special feature that the cooling panel is external from the pack housing to avoid the risk of leaking coolant contacting cell terminals. Hyundai-Kia moved to this type with the gen-2 Niro, Kona and all the E-GMP series, while previous models used a specialised low-conductivity coolant which has proved to be unreliable. Tesla's traditional round-cell pack designs reek of design engineers being excessively pressured by management to cut costs to the bone but retain maximum charging performance. Their spray-foam design reminds me of something I might have kludged-up for a 9th-grade science fair project when I was 14. In the future all EV battery packs will be fully serviceable and I wouldn't be surprised if German legislation helped in this case.
