My favourite quest line in general, is definitely the Dark Brotherhood one, from Aventus Aretino to assassinating the very one who ordered the assassination on the emperor, thus doing "a favor for an honorable man"

watched a couple of your Elder scrolls videos today. Finally decided to comment on this one. I really like your videos and channel, thanks for the quality entertainment.
I love how sheogorath makes references to back when he was the hero of kvatch. Such a good dlc. And able to become the most powerful daedric prince to boot!
I thought the first time through that the Companions were really awesome. At first I assumed it was going to essentially be the fighter's guild of Skyrim, killing bandits for coin and keeping the roads safe. The next thing you know you're doing some cult ritual to join a secret inner circle and you're going around killing people that are just doing their best to protect people from evil. Finally, you understand what's going on, and you can see what plagues the leader's mind in his old age. Do you help him atone and find forgiveness in the eyes of the divines? Do you leave him to his fate? Do you even believe in that kid of thing? Do you see it as a blessing or a curse for yourself? I also personally liked the Sanguine Rose quest. In my first playthrough, I had not been to Markarth yet so it was pretty crazy waking up in some totally new place on the edge of the map and trying to connect the dots after your 'The Hangover' style night of wild partying. Doesn't hurt that the dots you are connecting are pretty hilarious, too. 10/10 would get a drink with that Daedric Prince again.
My favorite quest ever is given on the Riften docks by an argonian. It leads you to dwemer ruins (I don't remember the name), and it is a linear quest where you follow the ghosts of a group of adventurers and see their memories. They die one after all until one can escape. It is a really good quest.
Personally I'm more a fan of Lost to the Ages myself, but hey, each their own. The ones you've spotlighted are certainly worthy as well one way or another.
For me, The Ebony Warrior quest is honestly a masterpiece. It puts you against what I would call the final boss in the game. You have to fight him in what is very much one of the most difficult battles in the game. It really makes you keep trying harder and harder til you finally beat him. Best quest, in my opinion.
The death of an empire quest kinda got to me. I mean being betrayed and told that my home base is being ransacked and having to hoof it back there only to find it in flames and like three of my friends dead and haveing to hide in a coffin and cry while everything around ne burns and then finding Astrid like that....it was emotionally draining. Another reason I kinda wish there was a hug mechanic.
A Night To Remember was pretty fun. Thieves Guild quests were also pretty fun. Never done The Forsworn Conspiracy though. Wolf Queen quests were also fun. And Touching the Sky. My favorite quest is probably the TG questline (if that even counts, out of that line my favorite is probably Loud and Clear).
I literally cried when I killed Astrid the first time. I love The Dark Brotherhood quest in Skryim (but, yeah, the assassinations in Oblivion were more unique and memorable.) Definitely the best quest in Skryim is the one where you get into a drinking contest in Riften and wake up in Markarth.
When I first played Blood on the Ice, after imprisoning Wuunferth, I later was walking around and saw the Butcher sneaking up behind a woman and was able to kill him before he killed her. So that is an alternate way to end the quest, too.
“Vaermina is the one causing the nightmares and he must be stopped to save the town” Vaermina who has always been portrayed as female and never male in all of Elder Scrolls: •-•
Your presentation skills are brilliant. Instant liked and subscribed. BTW, i feel special nod must be given to daedric prince Sanguine's quest. That was weird and funny.
You know, I love the blood on Ice one because every one is scared of the Butcher. But meanwhile I killed two cultists in broad daylight and their corpses are still lying in the middle of the street. So hilarious
I loved the thieves guild quest quest where you break into the solitude storehouse to tail the argonian. It felt like a true blue stealth mission with multiple routes.
Here's mine, a far superior list in no particular order: 1. Touching the Sky 2. No One Escapes Cidhna Mine 3. Elder Knowledge 4. Diplomatic Immunity 5. The Path of Knowledge Some honorable mentions go to the entire College of Winterhold questline, Beyond Death, Chasing Echoes, and Battle for Solitude.
Touching the Sky? The one where you go around the forgotten vale filling jars with water? They couldn't have picked a more dull thing to do in such a great location imo. Yeah, the final fight was great, but that was about it. I agree with Cidhna Mine. Elder Knowledge has a pretty good dwemer dungeon and ofcourse blackreach. But apart from that it's not much more then a really big fetch quest. Didn't leave a big impression on me. Diplomatic immunity, don't know why you chose that one. Pretty short quest and pretty straight forward. Go to a party, sneak in the back, kill a bunch of thalmor, find a couple of letters and get back out. The Path of Knowledge. Again, decent dwemer dungeon but not my personal favorite. The quest itself isn't that great either. You seem to like dwemer dungeons, so I'll give my own favorite dwemer dungeon quest: Lost to the Ages. Ofcourse Kagrenzel is a lot of fun, but it doesn't have it's own quest, although apparently some fetch quests can lead you there. The dungeon underneath Markarth is also quite nice.
I think I figured out the whole night terrors situation in the sheogorath quest Childhood memories, Counting sheep, beautiful women, and the treasure+campfire for adventures (dreaming of these things)
imo, the best side quest - is when you get your conjuration skill up to 90. Summoning a daedra, that insults you and killing him over and over - for reasons beyond me, was the most entertaining small-thingy I could've ask for XD. Also, if we are talking about dlc's as well - for the same strange reason I loved the quest, where you had to invest money into excavation (can't recall the name of it). Reading through the dunmer journal, letters and couriers reactions - was all an awesome touch :D
I really hated the Dark Brotherhood quests because of how attached I got to the characters. I cried for more than 10 minutes just because the five people died. Astrid’s death was meaningful to me. She betrayed the Brotherhood in the first place because she thought it would save it. And after seeing that it didn’t, she performed the Black Sacrament _on herself_ because of the guilt and the thought that she needed to die because she technically killed all that she held dear. I don’t know about all of the rest of you, but the Brotherhood quests were the best of all. I hated them in a good way.
I was more of Cicero's opinion, they didn't seem like much more than a group of bandits to me, having lost their faith, their tennets and their goal. They weren't even honoring their contracts anymore. I honestly disliked Astrid's ideas and their opinions about the brotherhood, which wasn't even one anymore. Though I agree that this put aside, they were all interesting characters with their own beliefs, experiences and morale which was quite enjoyable. They were quite the nice fellows, if one forgets their blasphematic attitude.
My personal favorite is Unfathomable Depths. Before I started using mods that was my go-to quest to get the Ancient Knowledge perk and begin the great Dwarven Smithing adventure to raise my Smithing up.
Ricardo VS True but to say most of Skyrim’s quest were bad is baffling to me. Don’t get me wrong it had is fair share stinkers but most of it is sounds like hating.
I don't know how he can say that the dragons are boring. Literally nothing in any game ever before did anything like what Skyrim did with dragons. I mean, they're just so fricking epic and you can harness their powers to annihilate foes. He is just being a petty, unreasonable purist grasping at straws to find every possible reason that Skyrim is worse than the earlier TES games. And I think the class and skill system is just as good in Skyrim as it is in the other games. Skyrim let's you go on your own and develop your own unique class by leveling up your skills as you play through, rather than just asking you right off the bat "you wanna be a thief, or a mage?"
Andrew Bresnan The dragons are epic, *AT FIRST* , but as you goes on, they just fall short. And yes, most of the quest are BORING AS FUCK, some are good, but not as good as the previous TES games, the leveling system is… somewhat better? But, it's just heavily casualized that it doesn't feel like an RPG anymore, and more like an HackNSlash action adventure rather than an RPG. Also, the unrestricted skill is somewhat infuriates me, like, in the end of the day, you're not a rogue/thief/archer anymore, you're just an overpowered god-among-men jack-of-all-trades kind of thing, and that's not a good thing
Funny thing about blood on the ice, there’s a really common problem where one of the npcs needed for the investigation, since she isn’t flagged as unkillable, she could accidentally die, which happened to me the first time I played on the Xbox 360. Couldn’t bring her back because of no console commands on the Xbox. I started looking into PC gaming that day.
Just wanted to say I came across your channel by watching random stuff while waiting for texgen/dyndolod to run their patchers while modding - o man you got the giggles out of me :D Especially the video about Two Worlds cracked me up. Also it has been a good way to see a bit of the older Elder Scrolls games through your channel and see from where the series began essentially. Even though I've read a lot about the lore I was born too late to actually play the older games, heck - I was 13 when Skyrim came out. Good vids, keep it up!
my personal favs 1 A forsworn conspiracy 2 Diplomatic Immunity 3 A night to remember 4 To kill an empire 5 Battle for Whiterun also i absolutely hate blood on the ice. its VERY unique but has alot of bugs. and theres a blood on the ice part 2, i feel like that would be a great idea for literally any other quest, even crafting an iron dagger.
For me one of the best quest is Lost to the Ages. Really epic and big quest which seems like should be more than a side quest . I don't know if there's another quest as big as this.
Honorable mentions to Wolf Queen Potema, the pirate quest in Windhelm, The Pale Lady, Forbidding Legend, the Ghostblade quest and the Old Hroldan quest.
Skyrim is installing on my laptop, but I can't wait to do all the quests. By the way, the part at the end when you said that cat was a criminal was hilarious. Also, cats are my favourite animals.
I loved the beautiful misc quest, get a priests amulet for 10 gold! And the best thing is, you didn't actually know about it! And what about First Lessons, the most WONDERFULLY written quest EVER!!!!
I think the deal with the path of dreams is that Pelagius was kept up at night by the noises he heard around the castle, and by shooting the monsters (Which are what he assumes the noises to be coming from) you turn them into what they really are. While this makes sense in regards to the flame atronach actually being the crackling of a fire, or monsters turning out to be maids or animals, I have no clue what the chest and young pelagius are supposed to be
You cracked me up at the Malacath shrine Giants quest and the flying. Anyways, i think Skyrim could have had a replayability moment had they designed certain quests based on the skills one picked. For instance, having more thief skills would make you eligible for the thieves guild quest but not the Companions or the College of Winterhold. Same goes for warrior and access to the Companions questline but not the Winterhold or Thieves questline. Granted this would mean that some of the main quests would have to be formatted so that they wouldn't end up going to these places but thats a simple algorithm that can be done based on the amount of skills a player has. The quests can, of course be started later on after the required skills are increased through leveling. I just thought it was stupid that a mage could join the Companions.
The mind of madness is definitely my favorite skyrim quest too. just so silly, and anything with good ole sheogorath in it is automatically the best thing in the game.

Wolf Queen quests were also fun. And Touching the Sky.
My favorite quest is probably the TG questline (if that even counts, out of that line my favorite is probably Loud and Clear).
it's not a mistake subscribing on your channel, you are great!
+Alice Eriksson haha thanks!
I literally cried when I killed Astrid the first time. I love The Dark Brotherhood quest in Skryim (but, yeah, the assassinations in Oblivion were more unique and memorable.)
Definitely the best quest in Skryim is the one where you get into a drinking contest in Riften and wake up in Markarth.
Fun fact: The beggar that serves Lord Sheogorath in Solitude is the priest of Mania from Oblivion: Shivering Isles.
When I first played Blood on the Ice, after imprisoning Wuunferth, I later was walking around and saw the Butcher sneaking up behind a woman and was able to kill him before he killed her. So that is an alternate way to end the quest, too.
I thought the title said quotes :*(
"I was an adventurer like you till I took an arrow to the knee"
"Someone stole a sweetroll"
+Shall0w_Riv3r haha not a bad idea.
You never should have come here
Oh the *CHEESE*
“Vaermina is the one causing the nightmares and he must be stopped to save the town”
Vaermina who has always been portrayed as female and never male in all of Elder Scrolls:
•-•
Your presentation skills are brilliant. Instant liked and subscribed.
BTW, i feel special nod must be given to daedric prince Sanguine's quest. That was weird and funny.
I love the dark brotherhood questline! Great characters and great story
I like the part of you fighting your cat the best. He just seems so not worried.
Here's mine, a far superior list in no particular order:
1. Touching the Sky
2. No One Escapes Cidhna Mine
3. Elder Knowledge
4. Diplomatic Immunity
5. The Path of Knowledge
Some honorable mentions go to the entire College of Winterhold questline, Beyond Death, Chasing Echoes, and Battle for Solitude.
Wait someone actually LIKES the Collage of Winterhold questline
I always liked the second Wolf Queen quest where you have to fight vampires and undead in the catacombs below solitude and kill the ghost of Potema.
I think I figured out the whole night terrors situation in the sheogorath quest
Childhood memories, Counting sheep, beautiful women, and the treasure+campfire for adventures (dreaming of these things)
imo, the best side quest - is when you get your conjuration skill up to 90.
Me too, honestly. I couldn't give a rat's ass about any of the Oblivion characters tbh
They were such a ragtag bunch of misfits. Unlike the companions or the thieves guild there were actually quite the unique characters...
I was actually sad when Astrid died.. I never expected that
My personal favorite is Unfathomable Depths. Before I started using mods that was my go-to quest to get the Ancient Knowledge perk and begin the great Dwarven Smithing adventure to raise my Smithing up.
This channel is like eso that didnt go crazy. I love it. Scratch that.. he is one of the funniest elder scrolls channel ever.
I really enjoyed the low effort effort of this video. Subbed.
What's with the Skyrim hateboner?
loszhor yeah, I understand being cynical he just sound like an unfunny arsehole
Dragons dont feel powerful they are weak and last time i checked weak wasnt a synonym for epic
Good vids, keep it up!
my personal favs
1 A forsworn conspiracy
2 Diplomatic Immunity
3 A night to remember
4 To kill an empire
5 Battle for Whiterun
also i absolutely hate blood on the ice.
its VERY unique but has alot of bugs.
and theres a blood on the ice part 2, i feel like that would be a great idea for literally any other quest, even crafting an iron dagger.
*orc goes flying* Don't worry! I will do better! *gets launched by giant*
I admire you. It takes a lot of courage to be a TH-camr and you're doing really good I'm a big fan of Skyrim, and your video seems really good
For a second, I thought for the last one you were gonna put the Potema arc.
Auriel's ascension is the best song of oblivion, really like you played in the video.
3:34 "Companionship" sounds a bit dirty in the context of "giving reward."
Ya know, those frames of ya in real life and especially in the end seem pretty cute, actually. Gives a peaceful feeling...
For me one of the best quest is Lost to the Ages. Really epic and big quest which seems like should be more than a side quest . I don't know if there's another quest as big as this.
My favorite quests are:
1.Dark Brotherhood
2. Dawnguard (Vampire side)
"Dropping an animal head on the guy, they don't have that in Skyrim"
*drops the animal head statue on that lady at her wedding*
Oh........
I feel as if a mind of madness is also one if the most overrated quests, It one the most memorable quests but thats not the same thing.
I agree I actually found it to be boring
hahaha that ending! Man your channel will grow keep up the good work!
+cameron emery Thanks man, it grows everyday!
subbed yo. your videos are good.
+Max Feller Thanks man!
Scatsbury ruined the dark brotherhood quest line for me, I can't take it seriously
Damn it Kharjo!
oh no no no this is so wrong
I couldn't take it seriously the moment I dead thrall'd Astrid's charred corpse.
The TH-cam Phantom Official You can't be serious.
Exploding chicken extravaganza
FUCKING SKOOMA
Casimir! He’s in oblivion!
Knights of the nine DLC
that's absolutely not the same guy
Honorable mentions to Wolf Queen Potema, the pirate quest in Windhelm, The Pale Lady, Forbidding Legend, the Ghostblade quest and the Old Hroldan quest.
You're such an underrated channel.
I love the Elder Scrolls videos, man. Keep it up! Good work.
+Trevor Guyette thanks man! Glad you enjoy them.
Skyrim is installing on my laptop, but I can't wait to do
all the quests. By the way, the part at the end when
you said that cat was a criminal was hilarious.
Also, cats are my favourite animals.
1. Hail Sithis!
2. Battle of Whiterun
3. Forsworn Conspiracy
4. Blood on the Ice
5. Alduin's Bane
*”YOU PATHTIC WEAKLING, YOU DONT DESEARVE TO CALL YOUR SELF AN ORC!”*
The best quest by far is, "Bring the Argonian Ale to Brenuin."
Pretty good video man.
Glad you like it!
My favorite quest was actually blood on the ice! I loved it so much
Actually you can drop a dragon gargoyle head on vittoria vicci as she addresses her guests.
The mind of madness is definitely my favorite skyrim quest too. just so silly, and anything with good ole sheogorath in it is automatically the best thing in the game.
How the hell do you only have 98k+ subs? Love your sense of humor.
Fantastic review and sense of humor! :)
