I have had a bunch of 4X4s as did my friend's back in the eighties Sierra Vista Arizona, but the most fun I had was a friend had a 72 Buick LaSabre four door, car sat about four inches off the ground . there was no part of the San Pedro River that car couldn't cross, no hill that car couldn't climb or dry river ber it couldn't tear up with the proper momentum. we would go for roof rides, pull old car hoods looked with drunks behind it down the dry river bed. it had Bad To The Bone painted on the hood. after many many nights of beatings at the river we would retire to his apartment and the car would diesel in the parking lot for a while and that's why we called it Christine. those were the days, RIP Mark Wallace/John and Karen Class/Kim and Shawn Createns. Sierra Vista was a blast

I have a 71 olds 98 that has done a ridiculous amount of bombing around in the mud and sand and snow. My friends and I would plan road trips to try and spend the least amount of time on pavement as we possibly could 🤣. It’s hilarious how well the old sedans do off road but makes sense considering only like half the roads in the USA were paved at the time these cars were built they had to be at least a bit capable. I still drive it around but don’t beat on it like that anymore hahaha.

I have had a bunch of 4X4s as did my friend's back in the eighties Sierra Vista Arizona, but the most fun I had was a friend had a 72 Buick LaSabre four door, car sat about four inches off the ground . there was no part of the San Pedro River that car couldn't cross, no hill that car couldn't climb or dry river ber it couldn't tear up with the proper momentum. we would go for roof rides, pull old car hoods looked with drunks behind it down the dry river bed. it had Bad To The Bone painted on the hood. after many many nights of beatings at the river we would retire to his apartment and the car would diesel in the parking lot for a while and that's why we called it Christine. those were the days, RIP Mark Wallace/John and Karen Class/Kim and Shawn Createns. Sierra Vista was a blast
Lol This video was so dumb I didn’t want to leave any comments here but your comment was so good I had to respond for that. I have a 71 olds 98 that has done a ridiculous amount of bombing around in the mud and sand and snow. My friends and I would plan road trips to try and spend the least amount of time on pavement as we possibly could 🤣. It’s hilarious how well the old sedans do off road but makes sense considering only like half the roads in the USA were paved at the time these cars were built they had to be at least a bit capable. I still drive it around but don’t beat on it like that anymore hahaha.
Cars of that era were a blast, my grandad had a 1979 Chrysler Newport with all the emissions crap taken off the engine, there was a hill on a back road near out neighborhood that it could get all 4 tires slightly off the ground xD
