I love how STL had "no fans" but LA has done the same thing. The difference is the team wasn't purposely bad so he could move. Glad you threw that shade!
As an unbiased Giants fan, I honestly thought MetLife Stadium experience was solid for both teams. Granted - There might be more life in Jets fans, But give the Giants a real QB of the future, That could change in a hurry. Skeptics who hate MetLife never had the honesty to admit how good it looks lighting up in home team colors during a prime time game.
@@anthonybarbosa7850 MetLife Stadium has the style & character of the Bose Wave Radio more than an Air Conditioner. Much like the Bose, MetLife has a super advanced surround sound system.
I'm a Jets fan and I was at the Jets vs KC game. I agree about all points and I saw the same of where large groups of people were trying to sit at seats they did not purchase. This led to confrontations on you're at my seats and one side playing dumb.
As a life-long New Yorker, and a die-hard Jets...I feel you were a little harsh on Giants fans lol I've only been to a few Jet games, and I really didn't have a good time. It was too raucous and I saw several fights. It makes me think that I really don't like the tailgaiting culture, but idk. I would be interested in seeing the pretension of Giants games, because sometimes the fun things in the fan experience can be grating. The way I see it (again, sometimes), I can go to a lot of different places to be in hype crowds, I go to a sports game to see the sport. I will say, though, you can see the old AFL/NFL divide in your descriptions.
I was at the Eagles at Rams game down there and one of the highlights was a Rams fan yelling at the handful of other fans around him to stand up and cheer. They all ignored him.
A fun video! I feel ya with the Favre jersey. My son gave me a Nolan Ryan Astros* jersey, you know, the popsicle one from the '70's. So cool, but, I can't wear it! I hate the Astros*! Love the nostalgia, and if it weren't for the trashcan gate, I would wear it.
What he described the Giants experience to be was very different from all the times I have been to Giants home games. They are always having subtitles and games on the jumbotron, I thought all the fans around me had a great understanding of football (quiet on 3rd down,) and there was always something interactive or fun to do before the game (autographs, catching games etc.) Also how he decsribed the Giants fans attitude towards the game was completley wrong based off of what I have seen in my experiences.
It’s gotta be a monumental pain in the balls to swap out all the signage and team logos from one to the other esp when they play games on back to back days
i was at that giants game, by the time witherspoon had that long pick six, seahawks fans were much louder than the giants fans and people started to leave, i left before the halfway point of the 4th quarter, so id assume by the games end it was mostly seahawks fans there. needless to say, it was not a very fun way to begin the week
Depreciate and deprecate mean the exact same thing. The English language is pretty stupid. However, I do have to admit self-deprecating is the one commonly used.
I think a lot of it has to do with the baseball team comparisons that go along with rooting for these teams. Historically, its Giants/Yankees and Mets/Jets. Yankees fans are absolute diehard psychopaths that will accept nothing short of a championship every year. the giants have been relatively uncharacteristically dreadful as of late, so that anger transfers over. Jets and Mets fans are more for the love of the team no matter what, which i respect about them. win or lose, they’re always there. And the chicken tenders thing…. well thats just bc everybody loves chicken. maybe giants fans are more north jersey italians, i dont know. but it is good
For those unfamiliar. The Jets and Mets are teams that have always had inferiority complexes and that extends to their fans. Also, if you hear about quirky, low budget, amatuerish, minor league, or cheap - then you KNOW for a fact its Mets or Jets. Unlike the Yankees or Giants which are all about spending the money and keeping it professional. Its stunning how two NY franchises can be so ghetto minded, and be a laughing stock every single year. Its basically in their genes to be inept, and do things that make everyone shake their heads and go "Yup, it had to be the -ets!
This is what MetLife Stadium should do in the future: New York Giants: Use fireworks one hour before kickoff, to warn tailgaters that it’s time to come in the stadium. Use LED wristbands for all night games at the stadium. Use fireworks for kickoff. Use fireworks for their AC/DC song. The New York Jets use fireworks for everything, but they should use fireworks for all the sing along songs (For example, We Will Rock You).
Some observations, champ. 😢North Jersey is Giants. Bracelets ? Lame. Being to,d to stand up ? Speaks volumes. Giants preferring to focus on the football - seriously ? 😂 Trouble in the stands ? Jests hands down - and not in a good way. And as for atmosphere, you can’t even fill the freaking place ! At MetLife it’s all about The Giants, the J - E - S - T - S remain Plan B.
Like I could jump in and talk about Long Island being firmly Jets territory, but at the same time it is HELL getting from LI to Jersey; I can't imagine that it's not mostly NJ and Upstate Jets fans making it to games.
Not really. Giants moved to NJ first, and both teams played in NYC originally lol. Neither really is a NJ team in spirit just geography. That area of NJ is effectively NY anyway from a cultural standpoint and logistical one, this argument is stupid and we both just lose to the bills if we are seriously concerned with arbitrary lines on a map.
@@gakster29 the commute to Metlife from Nassau isn't that bad. No worse than it would be from Westchester at least. Realistically, if you aren't in East Rutherford it is hell getting to Metlife, doesn't really matter where you are coming from or who you are seeing. Suffolk mfs probably get bodied but that is just living in Suffolk county. You are far from NYC at that point, so really doing anything like going to concerts/sporting events etc. is a pain even if they play Nassau venues like Jones Beach or UBS. Most people on LI live in Nassau and westward of it though, so that doesn't really apply to most long islanders. we also have extensive public transport on LI that goes to metlife so you don't have to drive if you don't want to either.
there really isn't a demand for a dome. Southern NY/North NJ climate is pretty temperate. Even in the dead of winter, it doesn't usually go below freezing that often or for extended periods of time, and our falls tend to cool off earlier than they do in the southern US. Nor does it snow like it does in the great lakes region here during our winters. So long as it doesn't rain, it really is a non issue. The turf is way more of a complaint from fans and players alike in NY than the lack of a dome. Keep in mind most facilities of this size in this area of NYS and NJ are not domed. Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, Metlife, Arthur Ashe, etc. all open air. So this situation isn't unique to the NFL teams in the area nor is it unique to football. Adding a dome would also cost the taxpayers a shit ton of money, something that is not very popular lol. The bills stadium deal that just went down was incredibly controversial for example due to how it used tax payer funding.
This was pretty funny. I hope Giants fans don’t get offended and throw chicken fingers at you 😂😂
They're not going to because those chicken fingers are legitimately $36 dollars lmao
I love how STL had "no fans" but LA has done the same thing. The difference is the team wasn't purposely bad so he could move. Glad you threw that shade!
A guy wearing a Jets jersey with a vlog that big ups the Jets more than the Giants.
This vlog wasn't bias at all 😂
Have no idea why this video was in my feed but I’m happy it was this was entertaining!
So true, go jets!!!!

Lol, Sofi is like Allegiant with away fans, in fact the crowd at Sofi is even more lifeless somehow
I was at the Eagles at Rams game down there and one of the highlights was a Rams fan yelling at the handful of other fans around him to stand up and cheer. They all ignored him.
The problem here is I was at that giants game and the reason the giants fan turned on them was that they lost in a 24 to 3 blowout

Two NY football teams and both play in NJ. That would be like the Yankees and Mets playing in Conn.
Great video!

giants moved to nj first, and built giants stadium, the jets just happened to play there too, giants run nj
The Giants / Jets stadium field looks nice but the stadium is sorry and one the NFL's worst. No dome for 2 NFL teams????? Really???
Neither team would pay for a dome since they see the weather as a home-field advantage.

the meadowlands wind is part of the giants/jets personality, especially during playoffs like in the 1986 nfc chip where the wind got up to 40mph
