My Parents and I sre going to Phuket for a month. We paid $980 r/t on Singapore Air from SFO. Currently we are in Israel and flying home next week on Lufthansa and Condor Premium Economy. I love longhaul flights! Awesome VLOG!

I love the 2-4-2 economy seating on the A330. I have flown on quite a few, with various airlines and I like not having a stranger sitting between me and my traveling companion.

I’ve only ever flown once in my life , January 2020 just before the outbreak 😊 still grateful for that opportunity. Your videos helped me through my first flight. Qatar Airways…I will never ever again take special meal. I’m diabetic but the special meal is the same for kosher, diabetic, reduced salt etc. Absolutely horrible bland with not 1 grain of salt. Diabetic doesn’t mean no salt 😅 all food was boiled. I was so jealous of my husbands tasty normal food 😂

Those A 330s getting tired now, the video box is a pain, the A350 is a great aircraft seems a lot more room have done this route into Manchester UK and have always been happy with Qatar once again another great vid

Havent watched your vids for quite some time, as is usually search for Business Class..but it was a great pleasure to watch you again...great report. And i looooved your focus on the food and service. Right now, prices on C class are rediculously high, also on QR. And flights with miles you get only if you pay double miles . So i am starting to think of taking an Eco flight again, after many years. And wow, the service you experienced on an eco flight was just out of this world..the more as many airlines still take covid as a pretext to save money. Air ticket prices are crazy at the moment, we paid almost double what we would pay normally for this flight! We can definitely recommend Qatar Airways based on all the flights we made with them on this journey. As we have mentioned in other of our Qatar Airways Tripreport videos, we have never been the biggest fan of them like other Tripreporters on TH-cam, but these flights changed our opinion. That was a great video and a wonderful flight with great cabin crew . I know it has a large entertainment box and maybe a smaller screen but the a330 and a340 are great aircraft and configuration for couples superb. Food drinks looked wonderful and plenty coming lol . Very much enjoyed this and glad to see the trusted pulsar back in long haul as he was missed . Thanks again for the effort in producing these their wonderful 👍

The crew were very good and the food REALLY REALLY was delicious (on all flights we made)!! We have never been big fans of Qatar but this flight changed any reservations we have had. The Pulsar always has it´s place in our reports! Thank you for watching and for the support you give our channel. These videos take hours to make and the donations you make/have made help justify the time, again a big thanks to you and Mags! Not sure if I have mentioned it before, the reason the Tripreports take so long is because we blur out all passenger faces as soon as we step into the aircraft - this is a frame by frame process and is where the many hours of work are logged. That view on landing was great! We also usually landed at night, so didn't get that sunset view! We have always experienced great service and food on Qatar Airways. I remember the one time we wanted a drink with our movie, and the FAs brought us a bunch of snacks as well.
Glad you enjoyed the view, so did we - were so lucky that it was not dark for a change. The FA´s also gave us a snack treat for our movie, will post a pic to Instagram some time of that. We have always liked flying with Qatar Airways but have never found it as good as the hype others give them on TH-cam... on this trip (4 separate flights with Qatar) the airline lived up to the hype (Economy Class) and we are now very much looking forward to flying with them again. Nothing beats being able to have a row of seats to oneself, it is such a pleasure not having to disturb a stranger every time one wants to get up! We both really really appreciated that we could fly Long-haul again! We have flown Qatar Airways a few times and although it has been a fine experience we have never found them to be as good the Asian airlines. This flight changed that and as a result we can highly recommend Qatar Airways Economy Class to fellow travelers - it was as if the service had been given a lift since the last time we flew with them! Speaking of a lift... the prices have also been given a HEFTY lift, we paid almost double what we used to for our air tickets! Owing to corona and fuel prices airlines just like everybody else are putting their prices up! Hopefully they will bring them down to a normal level again as soon as they can - otherwise they will be loosing business in the long run! Here in Denmark you here many families (on the news) saying that they cannot afford summer holidays this year! Hopefully this world economic crisis will come to an end sooner than later! @@TravellerYT Yes flights are hideously expensive right now with accommodation not being too far behind. We’re looking forward to getting back to Asia for a bit in late July when the cost of living will be more reasonable. I also missed your flight reports very much. I really appreciate this one. Last time I flew with the A330 was in 2019 with Thai Airways from Phuket to BKK. It was a great flight. I forgot that the A330 will take for long haul flights either. Next one for me will be the Queen of the skies 747-8 in July. When do you plan your next trip to Thailand again? Lovely video! I will be flying Qatar Airways from Dallas to Doha and then Doha to KL in August. I have a short connection time in Dallas, so hope my checked luggage and I will make it. You got an airplane swap? Normally the CPH flights are operated by dreamliners. The A330's are great as well with the 2-4-2 setup, but inflight entertainment and cabin is a bit dated compared to the rest of qatar fleet.
We had a horrendous flight on the 23rd April from Johannesburg to Doha with a drunken man, sitting next to me, his hands on me and my husband, crew suggested by husband sit on the crew seat as plane was fully booked..9 hours of no sleep, it was Ramadaan. Wrote to Qatar and got the normal email, saying sorry, hope your next flight will be better...I wrote back with no reply..for a big corporate this was very disappointing..am glad you had a pleasant flight

That was a great trip report - I've really missed your long haul journeys! That looked like a really comfy aircraft despite being so old, and the crew/service excellent. They really spoiled you with all those drinks and snacks lol. I spent a few days in Doha back in 2019 and didn't rate it but since then I've heard they've done a lot of work and building for the world cup so it may be totally different now. Dubai is a really great place to start if you're interested in that part of the world I really enjoyed my time there.

You can always ask for an extra meal if you want. If there is any balance in the galley, they will give it to you. That is what I do whenever I am on board. Trust me =)

A little notice for you Maxi aside because you are a plane nerd. The fuselage of the A 330/340 was designed to be the best in terms of gliding without power. At pilots that types were known as the sailors. It's still the skinniest fuselage in the sky sailing without power depends on wind directions for more than 300 km. The 777 cant do that and the 767/787 either. So you know what to expect on your next A 330 trip. PS These advatages are coming also with the new types the A 330-8 and -9.

the meals did look beautiful. Question if u read this. I assume the bloody mary was free during the meal, but later on during the flight, can u page the steward and ask for a nice beer, or its something people dont do:) If u can, is it free or u pay. I never travel.

The A 330 is an old aircraft ? Objection your honor. If there is anyone out there who can tell than it's me because i am an aircraft mechanic. A320 family & A 330's. With certification of course. The A 330 was over a decade the most advanced and modern airplane. It's interiour might look a bit antique but that depends on the airline to invest in a new cabin refurbishment. You can get a complete new cabin with new seats and pantries, cabin panels, carpets and the Airbus LED mood lightning system. With that and a nice cleaning from the outside your A 330 looks brand new and ready for 20 more years up in the sky. Normally you change your cabin interiour after 15 years or the flewn hours on a regular D check. I guess Qatar doesn't do that because they lease new planes every 10 years.

I love the 2-4-2 economy seating on the A330. I have flown on quite a few, with various airlines and I like not having a stranger sitting between me and my traveling companion.

I’ve only ever flown once in my life , January 2020 just before the outbreak 😊 still grateful for that opportunity. Your videos helped me through my first flight. Qatar Airways…I will never ever again take special meal. I’m diabetic but the special meal is the same for kosher, diabetic, reduced salt etc. Absolutely horrible bland with not 1 grain of salt. Diabetic doesn’t mean no salt 😅 all food was boiled. I was so jealous of my husbands tasty normal food 😂

Those A 330s getting tired now, the video box is a pain, the A350 is a great aircraft seems a lot more room have done this route into Manchester UK and have always been happy with Qatar once again another great vid

Havent watched your vids for quite some time, as is usually search for Business Class..but it was a great pleasure to watch you again...great report. And i looooved your focus on the food and service. Right now, prices on C class are rediculously high, also on QR. And flights with miles you get only if you pay double miles . So i am starting to think of taking an Eco flight again, after many years. And wow, the service you experienced on an eco flight was just out of this world..the more as many airlines still take covid as a pretext to save money. Great report on a great flight..really fun to watch!. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Air ticket prices are crazy at the moment, we paid almost double what we would pay normally for this flight! We can definitely recommend Qatar Airways based on all the flights we made with them on this journey. As we have mentioned in other of our Qatar Airways Tripreport videos, we have never been the biggest fan of them like other Tripreporters on TH-cam, but these flights changed our opinion. That was a great video and a wonderful flight with great cabin crew . I know it has a large entertainment box and maybe a smaller screen but the a330 and a340 are great aircraft and configuration for couples superb. Food drinks looked wonderful and plenty coming lol . Very much enjoyed this and glad to see the trusted pulsar back in long haul as he was missed . Thanks again for the effort in producing these their wonderful 👍

The crew were very good and the food REALLY REALLY was delicious (on all flights we made)!! We have never been big fans of Qatar but this flight changed any reservations we have had. The Pulsar always has it´s place in our reports! Thank you for watching and for the support you give our channel. These videos take hours to make and the donations you make/have made help justify the time, again a big thanks to you and Mags! Not sure if I have mentioned it before, the reason the Tripreports take so long is because we blur out all passenger faces as soon as we step into the aircraft - this is a frame by frame process and is where the many hours of work are logged. That view on landing was great! We also usually landed at night, so didn't get that sunset view!
We have always experienced great service and food on Qatar Airways. I remember the one time we wanted a drink with our movie, and the FAs brought us a bunch of snacks as well.
Glad you enjoyed the view, so did we - were so lucky that it was not dark for a change. The FA´s also gave us a snack treat for our movie, will post a pic to Instagram some time of that. We have always liked flying with Qatar Airways but have never found it as good as the hype others give them on TH-cam... on this trip (4 separate flights with Qatar) the airline lived up to the hype (Economy Class) and we are now very much looking forward to flying with them again. Nothing beats being able to have a row of seats to oneself, it is such a pleasure not having to disturb a stranger every time one wants to get up! We both really really appreciated that we could fly Long-haul again! We have flown Qatar Airways a few times and although it has been a fine experience we have never found them to be as good the Asian airlines. This flight changed that and as a result we can highly recommend Qatar Airways Economy Class to fellow travelers - it was as if the service had been given a lift since the last time we flew with them! Speaking of a lift... the prices have also been given a HEFTY lift, we paid almost double what we used to for our air tickets! Owing to corona and fuel prices airlines just like everybody else are putting their prices up! Hopefully they will bring them down to a normal level again as soon as they can - otherwise they will be loosing business in the long run! Here in Denmark you here many families (on the news) saying that they cannot afford summer holidays this year! Hopefully this world economic crisis will come to an end sooner than later! We’re looking forward to getting back to Asia for a bit in late July when the cost of living will be more reasonable. There's never enough time for connecting flights here in the U.S. That's a fact especially when you check-in luggage doesn't get to your final destination but you do! Happened to me a few times.

Last time I flew with the A330 was in 2019 with Thai Airways from Phuket to BKK. It was a great flight.
I forgot that the A330 will take for long haul flights either.

You got an airplane swap? Normally the CPH flights are operated by dreamliners. The A330's are great as well with the 2-4-2 setup, but inflight entertainment and cabin is a bit dated compared to the rest of qatar fleet.

We had a horrendous flight on the 23rd April from Johannesburg to Doha with a drunken man, sitting next to me, his hands on me and my husband, crew suggested by husband sit on the crew seat as plane was fully booked..9 hours of no sleep, it was Ramadaan. Wrote to Qatar and got the normal email, saying sorry, hope your next flight will be better...I wrote back with no reply..for a big corporate this was very disappointing..am glad you had a pleasant flight

That was a great trip report - I've really missed your long haul journeys! That looked like a really comfy aircraft despite being so old, and the crew/service excellent. They really spoiled you with all those drinks and snacks lol. I spent a few days in Doha back in 2019 and didn't rate it but since then I've heard they've done a lot of work and building for the world cup so it may be totally different now. Dubai is a really great place to start if you're interested in that part of the world I really enjoyed my time there.

You can always ask for an extra meal if you want. If there is any balance in the galley, they will give it to you. That is what I do whenever I am on board. Trust me =)

Yes, no charger on this flight but there are probably charging areas in Doha Airport (we are not sure) as most airports offer this service. This was an older plane, we would expect that all their newer aircraft have USB Chargers by the seat (there was on our next flight). A little notice for you Maxi aside because you are a plane nerd. The fuselage of the A 330/340 was designed to be the best in terms of gliding without power. At pilots that types were known as the sailors. It's still the skinniest fuselage in the sky sailing without power depends on wind directions for more than 300 km. The 777 cant do that and the 767/787 either. So you know what to expect on your next A 330 trip.
PS These advatages are coming also with the new types the A 330-8 and -9.

the meals did look beautiful. Question if u read this. I assume the bloody mary was free during the meal, but later on during the flight, can u page the steward and ask for a nice beer, or its something people dont do:) If u can, is it free or u pay. I never travel.

The A 330 is an old aircraft ? Objection your honor. If there is anyone out there who can tell than it's me because i am an aircraft mechanic. A320 family & A 330's. With certification of course.
The A 330 was over a decade the most advanced and modern airplane. It's interiour might look a bit antique but that depends on the airline to invest in a new cabin refurbishment. You can get a complete new cabin with new seats and pantries, cabin panels, carpets and the Airbus LED mood lightning system. With that and a nice cleaning from the outside your A 330 looks brand new and ready for 20 more years up in the sky. Normally you change your cabin interiour after 15 years or the flewn hours on a regular D check. I guess Qatar doesn't do that because they lease new planes every 10 years.
