Strep throat is the pits. I agree with everyone else Marissa the Lyra looks lovely. I read on someone else's channel they find it useful to wear something they have struggled with making a few times before they get to feel comfortable in a new style and I certainly find that myself. Congrats on your job.

@@theumbriansewist 😜good luck on the conversion! I seriously forced myself to wear a dress once a week for almost a year to become more comfortable in them but in the end I realized that I don’t like wearing dresses! Oh! Haha!

Marissa, your Lyra looks lovely. It's my understanding - having never made the Lyra myself - that it is meant to be loose, so as far as I can tell, it looks perfect. And I LOVE the orchid colour of that fabric!!! It's beautiful. The blouse and jumpsuit also look fab! I'd say all your hard work of adjusting, toiling and sewing has paid off. Glad you're feeling better and looking forward to seeing what you're planning for autumn! x

Might be worth doing a toile of Lyra bodice going down a size to compare size , to me it looks too big on shoulders too but that is just my opinion . Great vlog

What do you think about the fabric you used for the Lyra and Nosara? I see that they still have some in stock but I was afraid it would be a little bid see through.
It is fantastic quality and certainly a mid weight viscose and not see through at all! I just placed a cheeky order today at Driessenstoffen for 38 meters...oops 😂

I’m surprised you don’t care for the violet dress. I think it looks fantastic. Love the print and color, but the fit has a nice drape.
I think I was just not 100% happy after making so many variations. Also I am trying to become more of a dress person 😁
