You mentioned a pants pattern and I don’t quite understand what you’re saying, you’re going to use for several of the knits you bought. I wonder if the plain brown fabric could be made into trousers only with the brushed side inside for cozy warmth and the faint stripes on the other side going length wise with pant legs? Winter dress pants?

There is always some fun fabric at China World. A couple of years ago I bought Christmas fabric - Brussel spouts with reindeer antlers and a red nose.

OK< first things first...YES! 12 hour sewing marathon. Especially since you sew a lot of knit items...you'd get soooo much done! Also, fabric mall!!! I hope you took pictures! Regarding Spotlight, sounds like they charge Australian prices! When I was in Australia and went to Spotlight back in March/April I was horrified by the price of fabric but then I remembered that the Aus$$ is $0.60 of the US$...perhaps Singaporean dollar is about the same. Such a bummer. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful time shopping and that your work goes well. Excited to see/hear all about it. Glad you're feeling better also. x

Indigo lotus flower block print cotton fabric is amazing!!! It makes a super kaftan style dress or blouse for the hot, humid weather you are experiencing on your work trips. The other blue fabric would be great as a layering piece, perhaps an oversized shirt or open shawl collar, robe style to wear open over a tank or T-shirt. Also good for your travels when it's hot outside but sometimes chilly in offices or restaurants. Travel always plays havoc with my immune system. I take handsanitizer and masks with me in planes, crowded buses, trains, etc. I might look paranoid but I just hate wasting Mt vacation time being unwell. Sometimes, despite best efforts I end up sick. 🤞you bounce back quickly

WHAT - an indoor mall with only fabric …. Thats really the place for going shopping crazy 😂

Interesting travels. I enjoy watching from a far! I recently watched a 12 hour sewing marathon vlog and the sewist made 4 complete garments. I was impressed. I never like to cut out too many project at once in fear I never finish them. For me cutting out is my least favorite part of sewing as I am very... lets say particular. LOL. Currently I have 1 pair of lander pants cut out and I had sized down to fit at the time and now I think they may not fit. So I will wait until my current fitness regime starts to pay off and then finish them. I do love the Georgia Tee by Elizabeth Suzanne which is a woven top I can make in 1 m of fabric. Love it in light weight linen or lawn. I think you would like that pattern. It use to be free but I'm not sure now. Can't wait to hear more on your travels and purchases.

Oooh 12 hrs sewing challenge!!! Im up for that. I've done it in the past when I cut out 20+ projects into project bags. In an insane attempt to destash fabric. Actually amazed how it all came together. Black thread pile, white thread pile. All the shoulder seams, all the side seams etc. I'm was surprised nothing got mixed up.
