    Those Jazz master style - jangle sounding pickups sound so unique in a metal setting. You have really carved out a cool spot tone wise 🙏

    You, sir, are going to make long scale baritones spike up even more in value! The 30-inch scale and the Jazzmaster-style single coils create such a unique tone, I love it!

    Ray, I love how you have really defined your style. It definitely has a very specific vibe to it. Esp. with your Strat type baritone guitars that you tend to play

    I know how you feel man. I just got my first true custom baritone the other day. Picked all the woods and parts and a year later it was done. And, like you this shop is driving distance so no waiting on shipping.

    Congrats on the balaguer guitar and endorsement. I almost pulled trigger on the fluff single Humbucker sig Hyperion few years back. Kick myself everyday for not doing so

    Intonation is spot on, you can really tell on those chords high up on the fretboard. That’s a hard thing to do on a 30”!

    That’s awesome man! I’ve never played a 30” but for the way you play I can see why you love it so much. Makes me want a longer scale baritone 7 haha.

    BEAUTIFUL clean tones!

  • @Coggler101010
    @Coggler101010 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    That extra brightness in the pickups has probably given your tone a better foundation, considering the style you're going for. As Glenn Fricker always says, you gotta get it right at the source!

    • @BlazinLow305
      @BlazinLow305 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think a lot of it is probably the bridge pickup position. When you factor in the scale length, that bridge pickup sits really close to the bridge!

    • @Coggler101010
      @Coggler101010 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlazinLow305 that is true! Wow, this comment already feels dated with Glenn's recent statements on pickups, lol.

I love the way how you play guitar and I would really love to see how you make a song starting from the first idea to the finished song.
