      Hi. I'm looking to replace my headband for HD 450 BT. Where can I buy? I just love this headphone sound, don't want to loose it. Please help

      @@thomasgeorge5159 Sorry mate, I looked for so long in so many places and couldn't find a proper replacement for my damaged headband - the rubber underpart had torn away from the plastic. I ended up just buying a padded headband cover that wrapped around the headband and zipped up.

      I can't seem to find the headband either. I feel like it is impossible to get the original one, and we have to be creative like you and make our own custom headband.

    Speaking about the silicone on the foam, you can basically skip tearing the silicone apart and just clip out the foam with silicone stil on it

      You are absolutely right about it!

      Yeah, the silicone is clipped to the foam plastic holder, did the thing on mine and worked with no effort

    Hello,
    Just wondering can you buy the used headphones of top quality brands and make your custom headphones?
    Like audio speakers from Sony mx5 , anc from Sennheiser.
    Or something you wish.
    Like making Sennheiser HD 400s into a wireless anc headphones you know the stuff.

      Hello, thank you for your comment.
      I am not an expert in headphones, but it seems to me that converting a wired headphone into a wireless one is quite difficult. The circuit for a wireless headphone is quite complicated and it has a built-in battery. It might be difficult for you to add this part of circuit back to a wired headphone.
      But if you are talking about exchanging the drivers, it might be doable. But the problem becomes how to fit a headphone with a different driver size into a new case. You might need to use a 3D printer to redesign the headphone case.

      I searched a bit on TH-cam and found this video.
      th-cam.com/video/0sIty5P3cWQ/w-d-xo.html
      So driver swapping is possible, but you might not like the sound quality of the end product

    Is it possible to repair the cable? It came off the part that goes to the headphones and you can only hear it on the left side

    • @hardwarerepair200
      @hardwarerepair200  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it is possible. You just need to desolder the old cable and solder a new one back.
      I have another video to teach you how to check if the cable is bad

    • @hardwarerepair200

      As far as I know, HD400s comes with 2 years of warranty. So your best option is to contact customer support to see if they can replace one for you.

    • @christianjosephalvarezrami5264
      @christianjosephalvarezrami5264 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hardwarerepair200 i thought that, but the problem is that something corrosive touched the plastic and melted it, but it was just that, functional things like cables and speakers were not damaged, so I can't take it under warranty, so that's why i Asked to see if it could be something on the wires or similar

    • @hardwarerepair200
      @hardwarerepair200  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christianjosephalvarezrami5264 They won't replace the plastic case for you, but if it is really a problem of the wire, they will still fix the wire for you. But I don't know if their warranty terms vary from countries to countries. You better contact them first. Although I haven't faced this problem personally, the resistance of the wires might affect the audio. The resistance of the wires go up due to mechanically failure (constantly folding and unfolding the headphone).
      If you have access to another pair of HD400s, I suggests you to do a side by side comparison, to confirm that the bass is getting worse. As far as I know, Sennheiser counts it as functional thing.
