    Thank you Steph for the video.
    I have the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm - was my first closed back in the near 100 Range.
    The 400s sounds to me like a good entry Level mobile closed back, with everything important in the checkboxes like... detachable cable, foldable, good isolation, sennheiser Buildquality and comfort. The Soundsignature reminds me of the Sennheiser 58x - everything controlled but stays fun without base killing the mids and without sibilance.
    Could be a nice present.

      hi does any cable work with them or is the cable special ??

  • @Nocure92
    @Nocure92 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    FYI The cable is on the right side channel instead of the standard left. Also these are marketed as "over ear" But are really more like "on ear" headphones. You can kinda tuck your ear in a little bit behind the pads like over-ear-ish, and that gives you a bit better sound too.

    • @Nomad-yp3un
      @Nomad-yp3un 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the stock pads, it is uncomfortable for those with sensitive ears and jaws. The stock pads adds more clamping force. The headband gives you pain at the top of your head if you don't have much hair(i compared this by growing my hair thicker). It is good for mobile use, but for laptops and computers, the volume is not that loud, but it is enough. The mids and highs are good, the bass may overwhelm you depends on the song that you're listening to and the device that you're using.

    I tested them at Currys and I had to put my USB c connector into the cable and.... Only the left side of the phone worked. (One plus 7 pro) the reason apparently is because the headphone cable has a "call and volume up and down switch" attached and that creates an incompability because the connector is made for two ring plugs and you need a connector made for 3 rings. I paid £27 for this connector. Hate these USBC replacements for the normal time tested 3.5 mm plugs. Because now I can't even buy a headphone on line and shops don't really allow any testing and checking.
    Don't buy USBC phones it's just a gimmick with no advantages which makes some people lots of money, because you have to fork out your hard-earned money for a stupid USBC connector. If I have to buy now another connector I will have spend over £50 just to be able to make this work.

    I just got that headphone and the sound is a bit low even if its on the full volume. My cheap jbl earphones can give me more volume. Is it normal or i have to send it to guarentee?

      In that case amplifier matters as well. Try to use it with a better sound card if possible.

      That's a great question-- one I sadly can't answer! I haven't been able to get my hands on the 4.30 because they're discontinued.

    Do they work with Android for phone calls?

      @Isaiah___-sl1so 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as your Android Device has a 3.5mm Jack, they do indeed.
      I use mine with a Oneplus 6T Android Phone which requires a Oneplus adaptor (3.5 to C type USB)
      Great sound and good build.
