One of the very few channels that provide info about how a headphone performs on the go. Almost all review channel neglect this aspect: can you workout with them? Are they too bulky, do they stay in place, cable gets in the way, how good is the passive noise cancelling, how does the mic actually sound? Etc. You covered most of the bases pretty well, except for the sound analysis. If you could provide more in depth info about the sound quality, your channel has potential, but even without it, your reviews still provide value, for what already mentioned. The reality is that headphones are not only about sound quality, but also about usability.
i bought OneOdio headphones thinking it would be an upgrade to my old sennheiser hd202. They were not, sound quality was horrendous, maybe these 400S will finally put to rest my 16yo sennheisers
Sennheiser HD 280 Pro if your on budget for production, but I would probably go with Beyrrdynamic DT1990 if money is a none issues, but you’ll want an amp of some sort if go with DT1990, also keep in mind DT1990 are open back instead of closed back
Just got my pair and here is my impression: sound is overall unbalanced. Mids have too much gain, and vocals pitch too much. You can notice distortion even on low volume. Treble is smooth, not expressive. Bass is balanced. Overall disappointed, as they lack that signature flat and balanced equalization from Sennheiser.
Not a very good high output on apple iPhone 12 Pro or iPad 5 . I would not recommend the headphones for this for this . But with my 2x XDuoo 3 SD card players there s an amazing sound that's very clear compared to the Apple stuff . I have taken all my Apple Music and put it all on SD cards as apple downloads miss tracks out this has taken along time to correct and to do but its worth it . Apple is no good for music I think this is why they will finish Apple Music well its format as it is now .
That depends on what dac dongle your using, I own these headphone and use them with a Apple dongle dac and they can get pretty loud, they are about 18 ohms and have great sensitivity so I don’t see how they would be loud enough even with most basic dongle dac, maybe your dongle dac is the issue and you might need a new one, Apples dongle dac is extremely affordable at about 10 bucks
I have just purchased a pair of these....they are awful, I thought I just needed to get used to them, but bo, they have a horrible boomy flat sound. They are going back tomorrow. Wouldn't be a good deal at £20 let alone £50
I take products made seriously, test them in a serious manner and try to make seriously good videos. J/k, I'm on limited time between videos and life outside youtube, so the goal is to get as much useful information as possible in my videos with limited time.
