- Another Regional Railways vid now showing some action at Chester. The main action is the North Wales coast 37 hauled Regional Railways expresses but a couple of Merseyrail EMus are seen along with a Sprinter and a 37 on an engineers working. One of the highlights is the Crewe Works test train with a pair of 47s on the front with a run along the coast to Holyhead. We finish with a couple of shots of 37's at Rhyl. Another fantastic trip down memory lane! Thank you sir.
My pleasure! There will be more.......
Those 37s do take off pretty quick!
There's not much weight with only 4 or 5 coaches on which helps!
Great stuff, thanks. I love the 37 on the rake of Plaice engineering wagons.
They were off to Penmaenmawr for loading with track ballast, i saw & filmed them again later going Up road through Abergele
Rocks Reynolds faivorite memory lanes past
Fantastic stuff.
Great film Soi once again. This must be the Railtrack era as the great lineside neglect campaign seems to have started!
No, we are 7 years too early!
1:30 the station announcer says "Regional Airways bus service"
I remember those days when proper trains ran to Rhyl now that horrible DMUs runs on that line.
The only highlights being the loco hauled WAG express to Cardiff/Holyhead and the poor mans WAG that runs to Manchester/Llandudno/Holyhead. And even the nice MkIII's are due for replacement this year by MkIV's with 68's at the front.
@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus all rancid rubbish now. The railway has finished.
