Great skill at unloading cargo by yourself great job brother !!! Glad you were able to get the Ole gal off without incident !!! Have an awesome day brother
Thanks Ray, taking it slow and steady is the key I reckon. Most of the time you can picture in your head how you want to do the job, but as far as balancing the object and lifting in the right place, we’ll you hey have to use a bit of trial and error
Yeah mate it was certainly gently gently to begin with just to see what it would do once it was suspended. I’m glad it lifted straight and didn’t wobble too much
That would be pretty handy mate! I’m used to doing most jobs by myself but a second set of hands would be helpful every now and then. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Always interesting content, sometime would you be able to include a run down on your old Fowler type crane and your tractor jib. Those are the machines that make any amount of farm jobs possible
Thanks for the comment Ian, yeah I sure can do a video on the old Cranvel, it’s a great old machine. One of the best things I’ve bought, I don’t know how I ever got on without it. Thanks again mate 🙏🏻
One of the touchiest things was probably driving the crane forward between the two as the slightest movement on the steering wheel or uneven ground would make that crane boom move quite a bit left or fight.
The old crane is pretty good for that sort of job. It isn’t articulated so the boom doesn’t move side to side too much, and providing you can line it up, it will hold its line pretty well. It’s a fantastic old machine.
I was a bit annoyed with myself after seeing that when I played the video back. I spoke about that very thing in the video 🤦♂️ But thankfully it didn’t catch on anything. It will all be here for you to see mate.
@@oldrigsdownunder7301Yes, I commented before the video got that far. We’ve all been there and I know what you are talking about when working alone, like it’s pretty hard to pull or push start something by yourself.
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 Just found this Channel, great content & exactly what we expect from you Aussies, have a beer & get in there & have a go 👍Observation here, are those bullet holes on the side of the blue/white Mack on the side of the sleeper going up to the roof? Will definitely be watching you more, stay lucky & take care.
Thanks for tuning in, I hope you continue enjoying the channel 🙏🏻 Well spotted! They do look like bullet holes, but it’s actually a few spots of moss and lichen from sitting around for a long time. I had to look twice to check 😂

Very safe and steady job David, that’s exactly how I would have unloaded it.

I was hoping she wasn’t going to be top heavy son. Worked nicely

It was very stable from what I could see. Worked well
You need to convert one of the tractors to bluetooth controls. Thanks for posting😄

Good job, I was just hoping that chain dragging wouldn’t catch on anything on the trailer as you pulled forward. I’m anxious to see it all.👍
