This. So many journalists have a habit of tainting their media with their own views as opposed to just giving people the facts of the matter. People should be left to formulate their own opinions of what the media shows them, not have their opinions spoonfed to them by the media they watch. All the American mainstream media channels on both sides of the political divide are guilty of the latter.
@@EnglishLad I was thinking the other day, if news “reporters” are now “opinion” reporters; and this certainly applies to both the left and the right, can they not then be barred from locations that require press passes? I answered my own question by looking up bulow v von bulow 1987. The SCOTUS at that time framed that the 1st amendment right to freedom of the press applies to “every sort of publication which affords a vehicle of information and opinion.” So unless someone challenges that ruling I have to say I’m barking up the wrong tree. There is not a single study that can definitely prove that a fetus can feel pain at any point, any study claiming it can is ignoring the psychological factor which can’t be detected.

Hi, of course, I believe that this is terrible. This will cause women who have or are having miscarriages to be prosecuted if they go to the doctor for the miscarriage. And if the doctor does work on the women, they can get prosecuted and sent to jail. So now doctors can’t perform on women with miscarriages now because they are afraid they might be prosecuted later on. This effects doctors because become a criminal and have trouble being hired again after prison. And we already have a lack of doctors and terribly understaffed hospitals. If a women had a car accident and a miscarriage they would go to jail. This is utterly ridiculous. And abortion is protected by the 14th amendment but now women are being denied this crucial right. Giving birth is extremely expensive and people will definitely go into debt causing further mental and physical stress. The woman and man who have no other option to keep the unwanted child will bear the costs of the newborn and their careers will be significant delayed. (People still in school especially. ) Giving birth is a beautiful thing but forcing someone to is ridiculous and dangerous. Many women are also staying abstinent in fear of pregnancy and since plan b and such medicine is also being seen as a form of abortion will be banned as well. Hopefully abortion isn’t going to be nationwide soon or else many women will definitely be moving to other countries including me.

If a woman on her way to get an abortion is murdered and the unborn child also dies, the killer gets charged with 2 counts of murder. If that same woman instead has the abortion and is then killed, the murderer gets charged with 1 count, but why no murder count for the unborn child? Why is the baby considered a life in one instance but not the other?
Because laws are decided by old a-holes not scientists. If the murder laws were defined by scientists a man who kills a pregnant woman would get either one count of murder or two depending on what stage of pregnancy it was. If it was early? One. If the woman was carrying it to term? Two counts. A fetus doesn’t fit the scientific definition of alive until later in the pregnancy and abortions happen in the early stages. Late abortions are really just induced labour.
if a pregnant woman is killed, you’d guess she’d keep the baby obviously unless told otherwise so the killer would’ve taken two soon-to-be lives, even tho the kid isn’t born yet. if unfit parents decide they can’t support a child for whatever reason it’s much more responsible to abort it rather then raise a child irresponsibly just for it to grow up and be a degenerate or go into foster care. if a woman is raped she’s supposed to dedicate 10 months of her life to carry your baby, many women almost bleed out giving birth, especially young girls; while you can go live your life i have to ruin myself having a baby that could’ve literally killed me and the baby is now considered the governments property? is this fr? anyone that needs an abortion and is willing to get one clearly isn’t a good fit to be a parent

Calling a human with a heartbeat an “inanimate clump of cells” is the same evil that called a human with a heartbeat “property” and the n word. It completely disregards any scientific evidence of equality and relies on emotionally charged and willful discrimination. Finally, calling a fetus “my body” is completely unfounded by science, considering that every cell in that fetus has different DNA from you and it might have a different blood type. “Life at conception” sounds ridiculous until you realize it’s the only 100% consistent place to draw the line. Any other definition of what constitutes an equal person is inevitably arbitrary and sets the precedent for injustice. Last year the governor of Virginia tried to push post birth abortion. Because when you don’t have a scientifically backed, consistent definition of life, there’s nothing wrong with post birth abortion... Dehumanization doesn’t care about science or consistency. It only seeks to dehumanize and it seeks to silence all who dare oppose it... “Oh you’re against abortion and don’t want babies to be killed, I hope you plan to adopt every child in the world you evil, misogynistic monster...” 🙁
Dude…. It IS an issue of women’s rights…. It is HER body carrying it for 9 months, becoming burdensome on her and those around her - alongside violent mood swings, anger, sorrow, and morning sickness. And if she is FORCED AGAINST HER WILL to have it because no safe alternatives exist and the condoms and such didn’t work/broke, it will be HER body being cut open to get it out, It should be HER say whether or not she has it. No one else’s. Edit: plus, if a women truly doesn’t want the child, she will find a way to get rid of it. Would you prefer her to use a coat hanger?
@@thehistoryandbooknerd8979 Plus, if a woman truly doesn’t want the child, she will find a way to get rid of it. That point is so true. Legal abortion will go down illegal abortion will go up. When you make a law against theft it does go down, however, when you make a law against abortion it doesn't go down it stays the same. Did you know abortion rates are actually four times higher in low-income countries where abortion is prohibited than in high-income countries where it is broadly legal? As you said if the woman truly doesn't want the child, she will find a way to get rid of it.
Would you pay extra money to help these forced mothers? Honestly, answer me. I believe that in a perfect world, yes, you would need to adopt every child in a sense, because every human would need to go the extra mile to protect everyone else across the whole globe. If you ever find yourself arguing for a STRICTER definition for what constitutes an equal human being to you, guess what? YOU ARE NOT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY. Slave owners, the Nazis, and the Pro-choice movement are the only three groups who have ever argued for a stricter definition for what makes an valid human being people like you are the same people who would have supported slavery. You would have said “I think a person has a right to their OWN property” (completely ignoring the human who is actually being dehumanized). “Oh you’re against slavery? So basically you just don’t want people to have a right to their own property? You want these people to financially suffer and starve? I got a vasectomy. So I'm good. If you and all other feel men, should be responsible, allow men to get a vasectomy, without reason. Yeah. Remove the criteria or requirements that dictates if a man is authorized to get a vasectomy then all we have to worry about is men transmitting or receiving STDs. Because in all honesty men are ducking with out a condom anyway. So you might as well minimize one risk (getting a female pregnant) Vs 2 risk (getting a female pregnant and sharing STDs) by allowing men to get a vasectomy.

Funny how they don't mention "Jane roe" talked right after about how she was manipulated by the lawyers & the state in a very cruel way into her stance and regretted it right after... She's given many interviews on it. Including her last...
it's not funny at all and at the end of the day it was always Roe's choice. As it should be in a free society. Just because one can regret a decision one was free to make is not a reason for taking away all choices. For every Roe who regrets, there's a woman who never regrets it because it was the right choice for her, a choice she made of her own free will. Women are free persons with the same rights to liberty. No government shall infringe on these rights, especially when it comes to controlling a women's body. Forced birth is horrendous. Women are not the property of anyone. Next, they will come for all women's reproductive rights, like in theocratic states where women have zero control over how many children they have, forcing women in those countries into forced labor and poverty forever. That will never happen here, no matter how much you wish it to be so. So sorry.
Basicly the federal government can only do what is listed as federal responsibility in the Constitution. Most federal power comes from regulating interstate and foreign commerce. Since most medical care is carried out within states and not in interstate commerce then it is up to the states to regulate such care which is why the states issue Physicians license and not the federal government like FAA pilots licenses or radio transmission license. The tenth amendment is where the rest of the constitutionality of the right to privacy is found "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

People should be left to formulate their own opinions of what the media shows them, not have their opinions spoonfed to them by the media they watch. All the American mainstream media channels on both sides of the political divide are guilty of the latter.

i think it's great, now states can ban the murder of babies

Its worse to have a kid brought into the world and be out in to the state custody to grow up in foster care where there are three times more likely to consider/commit suicide.
Seven times as likely to experience depression
Six times as likely to exhibit behavioral problems
Five times as likely to feel anxiety
Three times as likely to have attention deficit disorder, hearing impairments and vision issues
Twice as likely to suffer from learning disabilities, developmental delays, asthma, obesity and speech problems
Also 28% percent of kids in foster care are abused
Many can be placed in over 30 homes during their time. And the reality is alot of people see it as free money for themselves to use and not to use for the child. Theb the day the turn 18 the state cleans their hands and tell then their on their own now.
Nice logic is worse to let someone have a chance to live than to kill them instantly.

Bottom line: no one should be able to kill a human life. It’s a crime not a right.
It's depends if you believe in God.
Though I am a Christian I still believe that abortion is not something anyone should be able to do. I believe that women and everyone should have rights but killing another human being even if it’s a fetus I still believe that’s it’s a human life that should be cherished.
@@johndavid360 the thing is, another human being isn't being killed. it is not a human being. it's a clump of cells absent of a brain and other organs that are necessary to be qualified as a human. if abortion were the removal of babies in the third trimester, now that would be a different story. but it's not. no murder is taking place here.
If a woman on her way to get an abortion is murdered and the unborn child also dies, the killer gets charged with 2 counts of murder. If that same woman instead has the abortion and is then killed, the murderer gets charged with 1 count, but why no murder count for the unborn child? Why is the baby considered a life in one instance but not the other?
lets just steralise everybody and place eggs&sperms in banks,, that way we dont have to worry about this
Because laws are decided by old a-holes not scientists.
I've always wondered about the same thing.Scott Peterson for example was charged 2 counts murder 1 for the unborn "fetus". Doesn't make sense..
if a pregnant woman is killed, you’d guess she’d keep the baby obviously unless told otherwise so the killer would’ve taken two soon-to-be lives, even tho the kid isn’t born yet. if unfit parents decide they can’t support a child for whatever reason it’s much more responsible to abort it rather then raise a child irresponsibly just for it to grow up and be a degenerate or go into foster care. if a woman is raped she’s supposed to dedicate 10 months of her life to carry your baby, many women almost bleed out giving birth, especially young girls; while you can go live your life i have to ruin myself having a baby that could’ve literally killed me and the baby is now considered the governments property? is this fr? anyone that needs an abortion and is willing to get one clearly isn’t a good fit to be a parent
Because America 's operating on pure fantasy. Look at when reality hits, they have no idea what to do. Shoot first ask questions later.

The issue now is that back in the 70's the Supreme Court created the 3 abortion laws, and now the Supreme Court is saying, "Its not up to us to create laws, we interpret laws. So we are over turning this and sending it back to Congress to create a federal law, is it their job and role within the government." And because Congress has not made a law on the federal level, its falling to the states to create the laws as stated by the 10th amendment. Doesn’t matter what the government chooses . The government is for the people .so if the majority doesn’t want it the people will rally and fight it
As I learned in my Constitutional law in University, "enacting legal change is precisely the role of the people’s elected representatives. Legislation is for the legislature, and if the people of the United States want to create a right to abortion, they have that power. They had that power before , and if Alito’s opinion holds, they will still have that power."
Exactly this. It's been passed back to the lawmakers, that's all.
But it can take 10 years and thousands will suffer
And they can. At a state level. That's how it works. Had we followed this principle a lot for stoners wouldn't have had to do jail time.
Had we stuck to that in 1973, the issue would mostly be settled now
@@ottoweininger8156 lawmakers in the united states... aren't exactly good lawmakers -- just look at your legislature. i see more party politics in there than any legislating. the only thing Dobbs did was to remove legal protections for people wanting to challenge full abortion bans, which isn't exactly helpful in the grand scheme of things.
This video is about to get a lot of attention
It's great that people are trying to fight for the rights of a cluster of cells that's not alive yet, instead of women's rights.
Women have the right to say no or to say hey use a condom. They don't have the right to murder. Also, every living animal is technically "a clump of cells".
@@iamjustme1 they do have the right to say no or use a contraceptive. But shit happens, and we have found a medical solution that has been legalized through wade v roe. If a woman does not want to birth and raise a child, fuck no, she shouldnt have to ruin her body and life just because some people are special snowflakes and say that that *group of cells* is worth more than her now. If you dont like abortion, dont get one. But we should have a choice. What they do, is literally none of your business.
@@uhaveafrownieeatabrownie8348 If you don't want kids, then don't get pregnant. It is that simple.
@@iamjustme1 the different between me 'clump of cell's' and a fetus 'clump of cells' is that I have a developed brain with conscious thoughts and have the ability to consciously feel pain and form memories and touch and feel the world around me. i am a living, breathing human being. a 'clump of cell's is not. i still don't know why the fuck everyone is arguing over this? it's not murder if it's not a human being. it'd be different if someone were to go and join a terrorist group, though. and it'd be different if i used my power and authority as a law enforcement officer to my advantage and kill whenever i felt like it.
@@voicevitality7197 contraceptives aren't always 100% effective, bud. what, then? it is that simple.
Seriously, a single court case does all this? Thats stupid
This is kind of how the law works.
I'm a pro-choice American. Governor Sununu made a abortion ban in New Hampshire, and I don't like it.
I believe that pregnancies by rape or incest are wrong, and the woman should have the right to an abortion.
What are your thoughts on woman who constantly sleep around and have abortions in order to not have to take responsibility?
Thank you for this video. I felt something never knowing what Roe v Wade was. This whole time I thought it was a senators full name lol
Funny how they don't mention "Jane roe" talked right after about how she was manipulated by the lawyers & the state in a very cruel way into her stance and regretted it right after... She's given many interviews on it. Including her last...
why would that matter
it's not funny at all and at the end of the day it was always Roe's choice. So sorry.
Someone mind explaining this right to privacy and how the government would be intruding on her privacy by her having an abortion.
news read or watch a video on Griswold v Connecticut. That’s where it came from and it helped a lot.
Why make it so hard for people to adopt.I would if it didn't cost over 100,000$.
US is similar to Canada.
In Canada no criminal penalties for abortion at any stage of pregnancy.
It was all based upon a lie in the first place

It's so weird seeing this recommended in 2022 when Roe v. Wade was recently overturned.
