I'm intrigued by the concept of setting monthly TBRs and following them because I never do that. I'm very much a mood reader. I usually pick 2-3 books from my wishlist, buy & read them, pick more books, buy & read ad nauseum. the decision is always spontaneous. my two most recent purchases are Kafka's Letters to Melina and an anthology about muslim travelers & their writing. super excited about those. Honestly I do notttt follow this to a tee, I am more seasonal in my reading than mood, so I can usually predict what books I will be wanting to read. I will post a video at the end of the month and update if I stuck to it haha!

I’m gonna try to do a book a day for the month of July. I think that hitting my goal in like August or September will take the pressure off of the rest of my reading year

I'm way too much of a mood reader to set and stick to a TBR, but I do have a few book hopefuls picked out for the month of July, including Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, The Guncle by Steven Rowley, My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante, and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. However, I'm hitting a library book sale next week, so depending on what goodies I find there, I might not get to all of my July hopefuls.

I totally get this - I have surprised myself with the way I have been able to stick to my TBR's usually - I think it is because I am an aviddd library user so I kind of have no choice but to read a book when the library gods decide it is my time

How do you decide if you’re going to do an audiobook vs physically reading? I just started getting into audiobooks and I’m struggling to pick between them!! I wish there was like a Reddit page where people tell you which media is the way to go 😭
