Yeah, I played with him in Tekken 7, I don't own Tekken 8, but that's a wild statement if Lars is similar to what he was like in 7. He has tons of crazy moves.
With moves like can-can and Nina's df1,2, ever since Tekken 7, two hit moves that are low-high or mid-high are for some reason jailing. I remember it starting with Hwoarang's guard break in Tekken 7 Season 1 until it was changed to only jail on block.
Now, his d4,4, Shaheen's db3,4, Kazama can-can, Lidia d3,1. All of these jailing moves that has never jailed before is dizzying when you've spent years to learn when and how to react to them.
In tekken 4 nina df12 was plus on block 🤣 🤣

According to TekkenStats, Boogard is a Bushin Jin main. Make of that what you will.
Drag D2 nerf will kill the character, same situation as King DF2,1, you can't remove these tools, key to the whole design of the character.
Just nerf QCF4 to +3 on block and remove his i14 launch in heat, that's all he needs to be balanced well
The guy didn't even mention the single dumbest move in the game, Raven's DF1, which is homing, frame traps into itself and is +8 on hit, it's thje single best mid poke in the game but nobody says shit about it bc they don't play good Raven's, you can't move vs Raven in Range 0 bc of this move.

regarding D2... i dont tink so lol. if it gets nerfed the way GM proposed i can guarantee drag would still play T8 better than most other chars. very confused on how tf making his best low a little bit more fair "kills the character"🤨

I'd be down to see you make two videos about what you'd nerf and buff from each character. I think the one thing that he missed was Nina's power crush heat engager/dash, that move is such a good panic move online even at Tekken God+ level. Even as a Jin main since Tekken 3 I think that they might nerf the damage of his wall splat heat smash and remove his counter hit launch on down 2 (although I prefer to use down + back 4 or down 4 instead) in the future. Though one underrated move is Jin's heat seeker kick (the quick input down + forward 3-3) since it's +13 on hit which guarantees a wall splat from down forward 1,4.

The only character I want to see nerfed is Dragunov. He's a plus-frame machine that gets immediate mixups. A lot of his garbage is hard to react to consistently. When I beat Dragunov, it was due to being lucky. Doesn't matter how well I play because if I beat him, I just go lucky. That's how I feel. And the one character that needs a buff is Lidia. Some of her hit boxes have to be made bigger. Trying to close the distance with Lidia is a pain in the ass. Her tracking moves are mid-range, and everything else you can use is easily steppable. Plus (and I need to lab this some more to make sure it's true 100 percent) but when she's in H&E, you can grab her out of it. Plus many of her options in stance can be immediately nipped in the butt by a low jab.I'm not sure if that was the plan or not, but I think that makes Lidia a hard character to play. A lot of people got her to GoD already, but IMIO, they did that by knockweldge checking everyone. I'd like to see them do after she's been out for several months.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for me as far as buffs and nerfs go. I think a lot of the characters are in good places right now.

I disagree with taking oki away from Kazuya, I feel like Kazuya without oki is like Lee without counterhits.

yo gm how you feel about paul having a standing 14f launch punisher? and a 13f launch punisher in heat? what would you change about his guard break d1,2 & b2,1 heat tech at the wall which leads to a guaranteed wallsplat?
The 14 frame he's had it for a long time. The heat stuff is madd cheap but he's not getting nerfed since no one is saying he's strong

Also , devil Jin doesn’t suck. He’s got good pokes.. a safe low poke.. that isn’t launch punishable.. honestly, I don’t think he’s missing that much. Is he Top 5? Maybe not. But why does he need to be ? Mishima player always complain if their characters aren’t the best even after amazing buffs like Kazuya got. And mishimas also have really good 10 frame punishers.. yea his devil Jin’s executions harder than most but it’s far from impossible.. yall just want special privileges.
HWORANG doesn’t need nerfs. All of his launchers are launch punishable..
dvj does suck, what good pokes lmfao, he has a -6 OB DF1, thats a good poke to you? laser scraper is a mix, if u dont go for the 3rd hit its -10 OB, if u do you can sidestep it and launch him. -13 low poke isnt "safe" . they changed the knockdown to have crazy pushback on his key moves like 112 to force ppl to use mourning crow and then proceeded to nerf that mourning crow which puts u at risk if the enemy just literally jabs mid air and floats you. He loses his turn anytime hes not using electric, play him to TG and you'll understand.

I think the main issue is mostly the follow ups she gets if she finishes df12 4 or df12 1+2. She gets full combos if u mash so u end up on a df12 vortex. I'd just nerf the reward she gets on ch
@@fightinggmyeah you can make people scared to duck or mash with the 1+2 extension and it lets me get away with using the 4 extension all the time lol. the combo damage is a bit high for her to have that mixup from a -1 Df1 with jailing high ext. I wouldnt mind this change🤝
