Sealing it all up? Blimey. Mines full of gaps to let the water out! My least favourite bit of refitting the seat box is the two bolts either side that hold the back bottom corner in. I can hardly get the bolt to the hole there’s so little clearance behind ( lwb). Where the seat belt bottom anchor plates would be if I had any. I’ve got a bag of spire nuts for the floor plates , but not fitted yet, gravity fitted for the last three years, with two layers of thick rubber mat on top. They haven’t moved and I love driving through big puddles. This ones looking very fresh, good job mate
Haha it'll never be water tight that's for sure🌊 the seals are more to stop rattles and vibrations through the panels if they manage to stop some water that's an bonus 😉 I still need to find the box with seatbelt mounts in 🤔🤷🤦♂️ that could be anywhere
Another great video. I am rebuilding a 1973 S3 and your tips and methods are proving invaluable to me. Looking forward to your video on using Defender seals for the doors as all mine are going to need replacing. In terms of videos to watch, all the one's below are brilliant for anyone interested in series landies. A channel I have watched a bit, albeit they focus mainly on defenders, is TirsbaekTV.

That Series is looking amazing. If you haven't already, look up Geoffrey Croker on TH-cam. He's done anything from Land Rovers to lathes.
