- This story is crazy. I traveled to a rural village in Ethiopia to track down a woman, named Muluwork, who claims to have not eaten in 16 years. Not a single piece of food or a sip or water. And on top of that, she doesn’t use the bathroom!!! After spending a few days observing her fascinating life and interviewing dozens of her neighbors, friends, and family members - I must admit that her story is pretty convincing.

I’m really curious to get your thoughts on Muluwork’s condition! I was not convinced until I spent 2 days with her, interviewed everyone that I could find in her village, and heard about her doctor visits in Dubai. And I must say, there’s no real evidence against her claim - maybe she is indeed a superwoman?! Please share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s get this discussion going!
Oh, come on, man, don't post stuff from fraud-artists. If she's not in a North Korean or Chinese dictatorship with closed-circuit TV cameras on her all the time, we can't prove that she was NOT eating. Not eating or drinking would have been a good trick to know for those Chinese girls killed in orphanages by being locked in a room for days.

What a sweet family. I feel bad for her being interrogated like this tbh, but she seems very well put together and has lovely people around her, so I hope she's doing great ❤. She's a sensitive soul, and so were her family, I could tell. So gentle. The bearded white man was interviewing her in good faith I believe, but the other man seemed to be disbelieving and I felt her energy shift and I feel bad that someone with a rare condition needs to prove themselves, it's exhausting. When you go visit someone, I feel like it's best to just appreciate their hospitality and time, and leave them in peace.

The 16 year dry fast isn't even the biggest mystery. How did she conceive and give birth to a healthy child? That's what I can't get past
The doctors forced glucose through her blood stream when they knew she was pregnant....I believe that was a big mistake.... Just like she miraculosly fasted for 16 years and counting, who knows what other miracle we were going to witness. Sometimes, science does't know shit!

She said the child needed IV fluid and was given after birth.But naturally it doesn't make sense.
The video said something about her getting glucose during pregnancy from doctors. I'm not sure if injected or through swallowing, but still that's not enough nutrients. I agree, the child being healthy is the biggest miracle! I mean children lacking just one vitamin, folic acid, causes extreme brain deformities and those children don't live past a few hours.

I have read of a woman in India who has not eaten and a man in another country who does not eat or drink. She is very spiritual. Blessings to her.
There is a man from India .... same story.... but for decades he didn't eat .... took him to a hospital ... think in Germany .... kept him under observation for a long time until they gave up and said they cannot explain. We need to accept somethings are beyond our understanding or imagination.

I have heard her story on EBS years ago and she said growing up she was struggling a lot in life and sometimes being starved is one of them and one day she asked God for a food because she was hungry but God on the other side make the starvation go away and she never had to eat from then.

I don't buy tat every brother or sister who has asked God to provide food for them frim testimonies I have heard he provided, no I do not believe this of God only the devil would pull something ike this, she is not in a situation where she is being starved her family eats, I believe is she prayed to the Father in Jesus name to deliver her from this he would.

Muluwork is very happy to not need food or drink of any kind. She loves to cook and feed people who need nourishment to live, but she has NO desire or need for food. She would not be special if she had to eat. She's like a Heavenly being who doesn't need food or drink. This miracle is one of many signs from God, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and God lives in Heaven, our eternal destination if we're good and kind like Muluwork.

I lived off water and apple juice for 3 months. I have cancer. My total taste for food was gone even though I wanted it. When I would try to eat I would vomit it back up even juice and milk. Hard time for me. I believe her. With God nothing is impossible.

I met a woman in Switzerland who was very similarly humble like Muluwork but she must be in her 70 ties now. She did not tell anybody in that course of family constellation that we attended that she does not eat. However when we walked back to the train station I asked her if there was something special in her life that might be interesting to tell me about. So she shrugged her shoulders like well, there is nothing really special that I could tell you except for maybe that I dont eat since many years. It goes completely unnoticed here in Switzerland. If you are interested I could ask a friend of mine who probably still knows her name.

I am Eritrean. I have seen it twice in my life. The problem is, that people are trying to explain it scientifically instead of spiritually. What i saw in the past, in a village , was true story . So this could also be true .

There's several bullshit artists like this that claimed they did not eat, and every time when it was time to prove it and be observed for several days, they could not do it, they became weak and lethargic. These people sell lies, and it's shameful.
There was a woman 200 yrs ago who said the same thing and doctors watched her 24/7 for many months and found she would have tiny amounts of food on a regular basis like tablespoons of honey, water, milk......it is still not food but it gives your energy.
Exactly...I went keto and fasted, had coffee with 1 teaspoon coconut oil and 1 tablespoon real salted butter and a pinch of Himalayan salt every morning. Sipped on hydration juice of 20 oz water a shot of apple cider vinegar, squeeze of lemon, pinch potassium pinch of salt . I wasn't eating but I was getting the bare essentials my body needed.
I do believe her, I've experienced the same thing, and I had to teach myself to eat. Most of the time I feel so much better when I don't and I get a surge of energy and healing that I can't explain. This taught me that fasting heals the body, and most of us are sick from eating food. I healed myself just by not eating and It changed my life. Just because the majority eats does not mean this is impossible. it's just the fact that it's not the norm.

I agree. I feel better when not eating. Fasting not only draws u closer to God but it also resets the body. Diseases would begin to reverse. For example fasting for someone who is pre-diabetic is good it causes the pancreas to rest and the body to reset.

I know, I fast a lot of times for over a week. I'm young and poor and have been anorexic before. When fasting I'll literally gain 2 lbs after the week but was drinking water. If I'm stressed and don't get food, I lose weight so fast. I'll drop a lb if I miss a meal. But legitimate fasting when I run out of money maintains my weight. Like my mind saying we aren't allowed to drop weight because then we'll die. This is a small case, but there is logic here that fasting somehow compounds satisfaction since normal caloric math doesn't add up. You could say it is my brain and body going into survival mode, however all of that is BS however way you want to conclude and explain it to fit your narrative. We have Quantum Physists who can't agree on whether or not particles and atoms exist.

I've noticed a lots of people calling her liar but that's human nature. Anytime we come across anything beyond our basic logic and scientific explanations, we tend to disprove them but it shouldn't always be like that.
Isn't it more likely she is just a liar? It would be easy to prove by putting her in a metabolic ward and tracking her weight. If true, she's not only a medical miracle but she violates the laws of physics as we know them.
That is because if we can not demonstrate something independently, then there should not be a reason to trust/accept as fact.

I have met some people living without food for a few years but most of them drink. I have heard the sentence from them: food it's a stronges addiction we have. There are more people like that , more than you think, also in Europe. It's called "Living on Light" or "on Prana", Inedia or Breatharianism.

There was a famous Indian fellow with similar claims. They were paying and studying him at the university of Arizona. Nasa was also in the loop. This one was "eating sunlight". Everything credible, until he was seen at local India buffet in search of some sunlight. China has some charlatans like that, making a financial killing from a large following. One of my ex GF's was a disciple. These people are delusional, they were drinking 7up and claiming that they eat less and were on the path to "no food". All they need to do with charlatans like this woman is lock them up for a month with plenty of water, a bed and a toilet and measure their weight.

I am shock by the number of people falling for this scam. The fact that she is breathing, is evidence that she has been consuming food. The carbon dioxide we exhale is a direct product of the food we consume. She has been exhale CO2 for 16 years with out consuming food, where is the CO2 coming from. If she isn't exhaling any carbon dioxide, it means that she isn't breathing in O2, Oxygen is released to cells from Haemoglobin, as the absorption rate of carbon dioxide is increases.
Also, where did she get the nutrients to grow and develop a whole baby without consuming nutrients. How did she breastfeed

life energy living without food and water research "Brahman Menor" once...I believe it is in our nature to be able to do this. We are programmed to think that if you don't eat and drink you will die, but I don't believe this. It is also a solution of course because it may be that the food supply for the people on this planet is in danger due to everything that is happening now and then this woman from the documentary is living proof from God to show that we are not We don't have to panic if it really is the case that there will be too little food for everyone and that a body can therefore function completely healthily on it. In fact, we are healthier without food than we are with food and this also provides a doorway to really connect with god because you get into a certain state when you don't eat and drink. I find all this very interesting and I believe in this.

@@user-pg3qr2wk7h on average, a human can only go 3 days dry without water. Dry meaning the clock begins 24 hours after your last sip. The food bit is irrelevant at that point. If she made it a week without water, that is already reason enough to be impressed. Whether she has some weird 1 in a billion way of metabolizing things through osmosis...IDK lol. But liar or not, a week without water is beyond the the ability of 99.9% of us.

Going without water involves going without food too since water is still in all food (excluding fully dehydrated man-made things). You will die from thirst before you die from hunger because your body can convert your body into food...it cannot create water.

This story was aired more than 7 years ago. This girl was a house maid and the family who hired her were very much concerned about her not eating and if I remembered it right, she was let go back to her village and the guy from Addis heared about her and went to visit her. This word goes out to local authorities and they think it will be a good tourist attraction for that remote area. The local authorities built a house where she can stay and see guests. I beleive the girl is not lying but its is beyond scientific explanation. if a person fall from a high rise building let us say 10th floor and survived; I thing we just call it a miracle or a lucky person, same goes for Mulualem, she is as honest as that beautiful village we saw on the video.

It is claimed that people can dispense with eating if they sun gaze enough. I heard an interview with a guy who said that he spent hours a day sungazing in Saudi Arabia and he didn't eat for several months. The only reason he started eating again was for social reasons.
That's the dumbest thing I've read all year. The internet has really fried our brains if people are choosing to stare at the sun for hours as an alternative to eating.

Guys, I'm from Ethiopia and I first heard about her story almost 10 years + ago when she came on a famous talk show. Then I didn't believe her because back then she claimed she hasn't eaten for 3-5 years(I dont remember the exact claim but it was years). This story is now getting momentum and I for one believe her. Scientifically and medically, yes its not possible. But lets be honest, science also confirms that there are a lot more things that are unknown than that are known.
Edit: listen guys, I don’t know how she is able to do this, but if its possible I want to know hiw as well. Why don’t people test her, she never said no you know. Maybe we will discover something we didn’t know before.

There are other people who don’t eat. You can read “auto biography of a yogi” for examples. They can live on energy from the sun, air, nature, and God, but usually these people have some sort of yogic practice, meditation, breathing, or prayer ritual that sustains them and it’s an intentional choice. This woman seems like she just doesn’t feel like eating with no specific reason which is interesting.
I don't know if she's for real or not as most I think can go a week without eating (I'm assuming this as that is so easy for me to do) and it would be easy to sneak eat something. For those who really can do this, it is called being a Breatharian, one lives on light energy. I tried going through an initiation for this many years ago and found I could go a week without water (I then got very dehydrated) but I lasted 76 days without any food (I did loose weight doing that). Due to having blood tests during a long fast I know my electrolytes eg my potassium levels start to screw up after 6 weeks without food (drinking only water) which actually could be dangerous.. all my other levels including my glucose level were healthy still. I don't feel weak or get headaches during over month long fasts.
The very first time I did a long fast I had a mystical experience, I collapsed on just after the third fast day on getting out of a hot bath and couldn't stand up as my head was spinning. I believe then GOD spoke to me while I was collapsed on the floor, a voice commanded "STAND CHILD!" and I was lifted up from the floor as if I was a puppet on strings, I pulled/stood up. After than I fasted further 73 days with no issues at all though it was an Australian summer and I was quite busy and since have fasted I think 3 more times over a month (I usually fast 4 to 6 weeks) and yes one doesn't need to go to the loo at all if fasting with no water or food (I didn't go for 5 days). and it's quite freeing not to have to go for number 2s if doing a long food fast. You also realize just how much time you spend in life just eating.
People who base all their belief in science want to disqualify this woman. Not everything is to be understood with the logical mind. The earth and life is not that shallow. This is spiritual and you can tell the woman is in tuned.

(it is very clear she loves cooking). Such incientances are common in many traditional homes in Papua New Guinea (Pacific), where ladies who cooked food often lose their appetite to eat, after prolonged inhaling of the steam coming out from the cooking food and soup. I just never heard of anyone living on steam (only inhaling of steams from food) as a source of energy for 15 plus years. Those, I know, often ends up eating later on. There's probably something special about this Ethiopian lady.

The reason that happens is basically from smelling food all the time. Your appetite disappears because your brain gets tricked into thinking you ate. You’re still just as hungry, only difference is you don’t “want” to eat.
(I happen to know this feeling quite well just because my metabolism’s too fast & eating makes me sick, then the food’s gone after a few minutes)

He's telling an amazing story, but it just doesn't make sense, and he needs to be open in expressing skepticism. Reading between the lines he does sound like he doesn't believe it but still chooses to tell the story anyway without directly sharing his disbelief to his viewers in the video or the comments.
