I like how the Jewish guy had the "anti-cementic" funny dad joke and the Muslim guy had the funny joke about the "explosion" of flavor. They legit are just normal people. The crazy stuff you see in the news is just them drumming it up and trying to divide us.
fr they are just normal people with different beliefs. I could say I like pineapple and you like watermelon, that doesn't say that we should be mortal enemies. It just suggests that we like different things which is perfectly ok.

Not really there are 42,000 deaths in Palestine. People have family there. Not sure how much they know there but it’s really horrible what’s happening in Palestine
What’s interesting is that the hubs of both Muslim and Judaism were so friendly and welcoming, but the people protesting for the sake of protesting were the least friendly. You can see the sheep and shepards very easily. People get warped by media so easily, while forgetting they have thoughts of their own. They just down use them.
I feel like American and Americans should not be involved in this whatsoever. The reason there are so many problems in the Middle East is because of America. With the protesters it feels good that Palestine can finally have the years of oppression showcased to the world after being ignored since 1948 but the thing is I know this is all performative activism the same way people acted when George Floyd was murdered.

The truly best description I think is "misguided." Many of them really do want to see justice but have no idea what that means. Most, the vast majority really on both sides, have no idea what they're fighting for because they never lived that life. For these wealthy students living in the US to think they have a say in the situation is really just delusional. They can't tell Israelis or Palestinians what's right or wrong because it's not their place. It's perfectly reasonable to want no bloodshed, but these kids just don't understand what it takes.
Interesting how both the Hasidic Jews and Muslims were welcoming and open to discussion, but the aggressive and confrontational, and straight up antisemitic and Islamophobic people were the people protesting and fighting each other all for a little bit of adrenaline.
Exactly, and they are the same ones who will jump to calling you all sorts of different names if you try to question them or point out any misinformation, on both sides like you said.
Americans dont care about the politics of other countries they just want something to differentiate themselves from “the devil’s party” the Russo-Ukrainian War is a prime example of this
I’m a European atheist, and yet I found both the Jewish and Muslim interview partners much more on my wavelength than the others (who were presumably atheist and Christian). They seem like the kind of people you’d hang around with, whereas the others (of both sides) mostly seemed somehow hysterical. I sometimes feel that the protests and reactions are less about the war in the Middle East, but more like a reflection of American society right now. It‘s probably a mixture of decades-long TV stultification, more recent online stultification, the (still wrong) one about „the customer is always right“ mixed with an unhealthy obsession with the First Amendment - resulting in „I am right, freedom of speech means expressing my opinion, and my opinion is the absolute truth“.
It is impossible to live peacefully with people completely different to you without conflict happening. Just a fact if you look at human history, and the current world
No, because the Muslims allowed the Jews to live in Palestine, but the Jews said, “This is our country,” even though the Jews were trying to occupy Argentina, so they changed their minds after distorting their holy books, and the Muslims saw that the Christians and Jews had a true religion, but it was a distortion after that, and that Christ, peace be upon him, Prophet and messenger. God is like Moses, Aaron, Zechariah, Adam, Noah and many of God's prophets
@TylerOliveira This was a beautiful video to watch! The children at the end brought tears to my eyes, and it was refreshing and so amazing to finally see the Islamic teachers also acknowledging the mistakes made by thejr own people as well. It brought a smile to see all the different places of worship of the different religions all together. It is really optimistic! I hope to see more videos from you like this! ❤
this is a perfectly stuctured video. started with the protests. went to the NYC jews, went to the muslim capital. ended with a plug for both sides. remained mostly neutral. well done.

I understand that you don't get it. It's because they fear to lose their spot at university. And you could say, they shouldn't be protesting then, but it's the right of free speech. Also doesn't make it very clear. Most protestors aren't anti semitic. In fact there are alot of jews who are accepted well. These guys don't protest against jews neither want do see america fall, but they want it to change. Also most times in history university students were more left then the normal american people. That's why our society is drifting to the left side since years because the students growing up have more leftist opinions. I think this is good. Without it we wouldn't have woman's rights or black rights like we have today and wanting to stop a genocide is also a good thing.
exactly bro, i support Palestine but seeing the Palestine side doing dances and all that makes me cringe so much Like these people are giving a bad name to the people dying in war (both sides) while being privileged enough to study in a university like this, really bad situation man

Ohhh😂😂😂😂😂 man!!!!!! Tyler you had me cracking up when you went into the school and disguised yourself with the soft voice and tried to get the inside scoop. 😂
Honestly the man who said this isn’t a war between religion but fake political people is the one I agree with the most. I’m not Jewish or Muslim, but when I look at this war from an outside perspective, I see people dying on both sides and it’s corrupt politicians who are pulling the strings and corrupting the minds of the people. If both sides stand up to their leaders and say “we will not fight one another.” That would be a true miracle. Unfortunately miracles like that are very rare. I hope both sides can have peace and happiness.
I agree both sides have some so much damage to one another that if they must ask what they fighting about or where this all started I don't think they would even know

There’s definitely bias in the video, it’s just that you’re not critically thinking enough to realise it. I do agree that there’s much less of a narrative then mainstream media and the portrayal of the two religious leaders were very much unbiased, but the depiction of the protestors had a clear narrative and tone if you consider the background music and the narration which added way more tension to the peaceful protest then need be, in contrast to the guys holding the American flag who are almost shown as being the righteous ones in this situation, when in reality, their actions are more of a provocation towards the main protestors than anything.

I seriously wish this whole thing could have been resolved at a negotiating table in a marble building over streets with gunfire and civilians. I truly believe that a peaceful solution to the Palestine question could have been achieved if not for religious zealots on both sides. Just hoping for peace for the people of both sides who don't deserve all of this bloodshed. Unfortunately, this government doesn't have the greatest track record in protester relations. Exactly. The people in their respective communities all seemed chill. The protestors seem to be fanning the flames alot more. And they're mostly white college kids with no skin in the game on either side.
So I’m a Jew and I will now tell you about 2 HASIDIC sects of Judaism and how they are drastically different from each other. So the Hasidic Jews in this video are known as Chabad Jews. They are very hospitable to Jews and non Jews alike. They originate from places like Poland Belarus and austro-hungary. They are a sub group of Jews that follow the philosophies of the Rebbes which were sort of a dynasty of righteous rabbis with the first one of them being born in the 1700s. His name was the alter rebbe. Well anyway before I go on a tangent that sums up the Chabad Hasidic sect of Judaism. They mostly reside in crown heights, Brooklyn and Chabad have had this program called shlichos since the 1990s and earlier where they are tasked by big rabbis to build as many synagogues around the world to bring irreligious Jews back into the religion, and that’s one of the reasons they are so warming and know the answer to a lot of questions, because they are trained to be able to answer a lot of questions to help irreligious Jews get a grip of Judaism. That sums it up for the chabad jews. Now I will talk about the Hasidic ultra orthodox Jewish religious sect known as the satmir Jews who differ very much from the chabad. They mostly reside in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Borough park, and some in Monsey, Airmont, and Monroe, NY. They originate from roughly the same places as the chabad as they are both in the bigger subgroup of ashkenazi Jews( Jews who come from a lineage of Jews that lived in Europe since at least the Byzantine Empire.). What’s different about these Jews is that they don’t follow the specific Jewish philosophies and custom of the chabad rabbis taught, and don’t uphold the same values as the chabad. Actually quite the opposite. The satmir Jews are focused on keeping their communities private and enclosed form the secular world and have no interest in any group of people(INCLUDING JEWS) that are not in their specific subgroup or not very religious. These types of Jews are usually those types you will see when you see a video on TH-cam of an extremely religious Jew being rude to non Jews. Because they are very opposed of other groups, and do not want any external influence to be perceived onto their children. Their are some good apples that are open to discourse with non Jews but most of them are opposed of the idea of them or their children conversing with a non Jew. So you can see that the values of 2 different groups of Jews are very different and you can be in one Jewish neighborhood and be treated with alienism for not being a Jew and especially a religious one, but you can go one town across to another Jewish community and be treated with hospitality, relatability, and openness. This took a long time to type so if you liked my little rant place like. If anyone wants I can tell story about a personal encounter with a group of satmir kids(they were rude).
Okay so I'm Muslim and I find this information interesting cuz There're some extremist Islamic sects similar to the Jewish group that you mentioned. In Islam, Everything that makes religion difficult for others is called “extremism, غلو” and it is something forbidden and undesirable . It is our duty (as Muslims first and as human beings second) to respect people and show them hospitality, regardless of their religious or ethnic group. (Away from social media and the media), people in real life are very nice
@@zipfile_6301 good question.. In general, extremists are called extremists, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, and they must be subjected to the same ruling, but (extremism غلو, there is no appropriate English word) is an exaggeration of what is not required by Sharia or we can say It is an exaggeration and an addition to the basic rule. You were not asked to do it, and you will be punished for doing it because you make people hate religion.. For example, the government of Iran, or the so-called morality police, tortures and kills any woman who doesn't wear a hijab. There is not a single text in Sharia law that stipulates the killing of non-hijabi women. Rather, they must be advised in a good manner without violence. The hijab is obligatory for women in Islam (basic rule), but killing non-hijabi women is an (excess) that does not exist at all in Sharia law. Only God can judge and no one has the right to take the soul of an innocent person. I think u understand the idea and I personally try to follow it in all my life's sections because it's make sense for me. Ty

Definitely not time management. I go to Cornell where we have our own, less successful encampment (largely ineffective because you can't really block streets on such a spread out campus). The same ones likely to become activists.

Off-the-record comments are supposed to remain strictly between the source and the reporter. Now, what about “on background?” Typically, that means a source shares information that a journalist is free to use with one caveat: The journalist should not attribute that information to a specific or named person.
i get it though, they want to remain anonymous and don't need every microinfluencer with a camera and no media training all up in their face while they are risking expulsion etc.
When I was living in Spain, we spoke with a lot of Muslim people. Every single one was very friendly. In fact, some of them tried to apologize to us (obviously Americans) denouncing the extremists. They were relieved when we told them that we recognized the difference between the majority of Muslims and the extremists. Great people. Its a shame that a small group can make everyone else look bad.
Thinking that all muslims are t3rr0rists is one of the very baseline ignorance anyway. Like how’s 2+ billion people t3rr0rists? Where’s the chaos lol. Another important thing to point out is the fact that the extremist t3rr0rist organization (Eye-sis), although “muslim”, they *literally* all they did is friendly fire.. they started and ended inside muslim countries. They mass-k1lled their own blood! Yet the ignorant people still have the audacity to consider that extremist group as “truly Islamic”.
It’s just the leaders of the Muslims are the problem. They won’t accept peace talks and launch attacks against Israel whenever an election is coming up, therefore canceling the election.
i think people are confused between zionists and jewish people, most are actually nice people with no evil intent and same with the muslims it's just the stereotyping or biased media changing it all, and i don't like hamas much, and 100% hate the IDF, but i like the civilians because they are just normal everyday people, not walking terrorists, from a 13 year olds perspective

Comforting and assuring me the whole time. Some honest beautiful man picked her up and brought her to the public library where they called the police and I was eventually reunited with her. But I am thankful to my neighbors who scoured the streets for her, knocking on doors and talking to people.

this comment only shows how little you( and 99% of all people) know about Israel and jews, for starters judaism is a ethno-religion it doesn't mean that if you are a atheist you stop being a jew there is no such thing as "fake jew", and secondly all Israelis are taught Torah from a young age, so it is very rare for someone to quote the Bible without knowing the interpretation
Crazy how the old Rabbi goes "There was never Palestinians, its always been the jews" then later in 28:40 just goes on about "yeah we invaded you and took your land, deal with it." Like bro, lmao?
The term Palestine is the Latin translation to Philistine which were an old people the ancient Judean kingdom fought in ancient times. Romans dealt with several Jewish revolts in Israel and expelled them and named the land Philistine as an insult. Once the Roman’s were kick out it was populated by Arabs There was never a independent Muslim Palestine
I really hate how some people come about with this. If you want to fight for human rights and ending a war you can't say negative racist things to any side. It's not fair to those who aren't involved with the other organization choices or governments choices. This video shows that both cultures are unique and what we should do is advocate for innocent citizens getting help whether Palestinian or Jewish.

As a Jew, I hope people know that the Hasidic community in New York is in no way representative of the Jewish community in America. The vast majority of us do not wear any different clothes, don’t speak Hebrew, and rarely go to synagogue. We keep our religion alive by continuing our family traditions and staying close to each other. Being Jewish in America is not about being religious, but rather it is more about keeping your culture alive and celebrating the holidays.
That's good so why a lot go to pal estine and steal lands and home . Why they not just stay in America and live in peace and let people live in peace on their land ??!!!!

If both sides stand up to their leaders and say “we will not fight one another.” That would be a true miracle. Unfortunately miracles like that are very rare. I hope both sides can have peace and happiness.

@@zipfile_6301 good question..
In general, extremists are called extremists, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, and they must be subjected to the same ruling, but (extremism غلو, there is no appropriate English word)
is an exaggeration of what is not required by Sharia or we can say It is an exaggeration and an addition to the basic rule.

@@AliTanoli-cq3jscause it is. They had their “charismatic leader” who said all Israelites deserve to be killed, they have a “litmus test” in terms of you have to agree to *x* to be accepted and they even have had their group chants instructed by said charismatic leader. It’s 100% a cult lol
Good job Tyler 👏🏻 🎉
Great way to start the morning. Keep it up Tyler!
