@Jay I think question 3 is False (41:13) Because the text directly addresses: "Visually creative people report disturbed sleep." The "disturbed sleep" is not as Nightmare. and the entire other sentence directly addresses the "sleep".

I don't feel qualified enough to give advice on this but what i do other than following what Jay said that is to look for key words and synonyms, i also like to analyze the question to understand what (person, place, thing,etc.) i am looking for when i get confused. For eg. With - At E2Language, Jay teaches......? so here i know that i have to look for a SUBJECT that he teaches.
Firstly, I am really thankful to you, Jay, for immensely helping IELTS aspirants. In the next paragraph, I have a question regarding the content of this video. Any feedback on this question is highly appreciated. It was taught in the earlier videos that the first sentence of the paragraph will "ALWAYS" be the main idea of the paragraph. But, here (approximately at 17:47) in this video, it is contradicting this assumption. I am perplexed :).

Dear Jay look at question number 5 of the T, F and NG sections, the paragraph doesn't compare their behaviours of sleeping hours and only gives information on creative people who have more hours. So the answer could be NG.

Hello Everyone, I like to thank Jay, Alex and the E2 Ielts team for the satisfying outcome of my IELTS exam. I have got an overall 7.5 band score and that could be possible because of the help of tricks and suggestions from the videos available on E2 Ielts channel. I like toshare that, in case of listening, it is about practicing and developing theconcentration so that you can catch the words very quickly. I found the reading section very hard but I followed the suggestions and adopted strategies depending on the question types. So, it depends on the strategy in which you are comfortable. I got a band score of 8 in reading on which I am very much satisfied with. I could not manage the time in writing where I ate time in task one so much , as a result I could not give enough time for task 2. However, I am happy with my first performance. Thank you.

By increasing difficulty level, you would be clear enough about your position.. Starting with Cambridge books and then official Ielts guide can be helpful...
One method to identify the main idea of the passage is to see how much content is covered in the passage relating to a particular word. For example, content on human activity is relatively lesser than bedbugs. However, it is still tough to choose between bed bugs and insects. Maybe one can choose the closest synonyms. I would like to take more suggestions.
