I am from Bangladesh and I want to thank you guys for your amazing contents. I just followed your videos before the week of the exam and I got overall 7 (listening: 7, Reading 7.5, Speaking 7 and writing 6.5) I am greatful for tour support.
Can you explain to me the mechanism of your study, how you studied and allocated your time, and how the questions were that I approached? I am facing this exam and I am afraid because I do not know how to deal with it
Hi, I can't put into words how much your videos helped me. I had 5 days to get ready for my IELTs test, and i had never read anything prior to this. I'm so glad I got an 8.5 in reading, 8.5 in Listening, 7.0 in Speaking, and 6.5 in writing. Overall score 7.5. My school pass mark was a 7. I'm over the moon! Keep doing this! Thankyou!
Hey, after years, I came here to see how is Jay, that I owe him too much for the time I had been studying for IELTS and now its been 2 years since I am in Australia. a big thank to E2 team, many things has changed since the time I was away from this channel.
Exactly, I'm 16 I have to deal with. SAT, IELTS, scholarships, etc... because my family has no money. Why do we have to be judged and expected with the same tests? People are different, and a lot of those things we study can't be used in the real world. And I'm not talking engineers, doctors or what not who might wanna know all of those things. We do we all have to go thru the same path same tests. I feel no freedom in my education. Once the tests are completed, they are even more useless.
HI, for the question, " food seems to be more afforadable than in the past", isn't the correct answer NO, as the sentence says, we are actually paying more?
I think the key words here are "seems" (in the question) and "appear" (in the text), so yes, it's true that food seems=appears to be more affordable (while, in fact, it is not).
It says food appears never to have been cheaper, which means it seems cheaper/affordable which is true. The second part of the sentence mentions that even if people think it's cheaper, in reality it is not - so still people feel that they are paying less now, even if in reality they are not.
My answer to 11th question was taxing while given answer was agricultural subsidies while for 10th question my answer was public while given answer was public support.
I was watching your video on the True Cost Accounting reading passage and got a bit confused about the answer for question 2. You mentioned that the answer is “YES,” which means food is more affordable now than before. But when I read the passage, especially part C, it says that the real cost of food is actually higher than what we see upfront because of all the hidden costs. Could you help me understand how you got to “YES” as the answer? I just want to make sure I’m getting this right for my studies.
Gbam! God bless you. This is the comment I was looking for. I have stirred my mind in all directions and I asked myself if English is that hard for me. The answer is No because according to the passage, food is more expensive now than in the past.
@@cygwanfogbe246 The passage means to say that the food "appears" to be cheaper but is actually not. Hence, answer yes because it says food "seems" to be cheaper. That will be my interpretation.
I got 10 out of 13. Thanks for practice test. Sometimes, honestly, mostly it is hard to make yourself practice, although your video made me practice in a more entertained way.
I thought the same BUT the last part says "subsidies to encourage or discourage farming methods...Even though your "taxes and subsidies" is technically correct, it's not exactly given in the text. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!
Great callout! In fact, "taxes and subsidies" would be the most complete answer, and therefore I do believe it would be absolutely correct. However, it makes sense that using "subsidies" is sufficient. For the same reason using "taxes" should be sufficient (in fact I chose "taxes").
LET ME BE YOUR TESTIMONIAL. Hey guys, Indonesian with okay-level english here trying to make some testimonial for this channel. Im currently watching your contents to learn the general IELTS test and will be taking the test tmr, the result will come out 3-5 days later. Will comeback and show the result right after I got the result! See ya
Ma'am, I almost attempted 11 IELTS past tests, given a lot of time and average scores are 6.5. And my target is 7 but I am not improving since then, it is now discouraging me each hour passing...
Hii! I just had to come back with a comment because this channel has truly helped me SO MUCH! I received my scores today with an overall IELTS Academic band of 8.0 which is amazing! I am extremely happy. I watched all the videos especially on speaking and writing and they were the most helpful! Here is the breakdown of my score: Listening 9.0 Speaking 8.0 Reading 7.5 Writing 7.5 Just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart that you do these videos for free and are full of value! ❤ This is the only channel you need if you want to prepare for the IELTS! Thank you again for everything and every video!
My god! That's very impressive and i can't help but ask how did you managed to get 7.5 in writing!!😯 I'm currently preparing for my ielts and planning to give the exam in mext month. I'll email you cause i need some tips and I'll be really glad if you help me out!🤍
question 11 - is a trap kind of question (the easier to find the linking keyword the higher the chance it is the incorrect answer), IELTS mock tests are more tricky than this
I would recommend setting a timer on your phone. Practice with longer time intervals and then shorten them according to what the test takers typically prefer.
ques 2 , is not the answer supposed to be 'No' ? here the statement says food is right now more affordable, while in the paragraph we are observing we are paying more price than earlier time, am I right?
Hi I need assistance. I have to prepare for General IELTS but seeing you page I am confused from where to start as I can find the step by step lessons for each module. Kindly help.
Based on the last 5 questions, the instructions say the I shouldn’t write more than 3 words.. so in this question specifically, I actually answered it as “sufficient public support” not only “public support “ cuz u know why would I ignore the word “sufficient “ if it won’t affect the maximum number of words I’ve to write. Unless the word sufficient refers to both public support and political will. So.. if I wrote “sufficient public support” instead of only “public support “ will I get the mark??? I’m concerned

It's okay to feel disappointed, but remember that this is just one step in your journey. A score of 6 shows that you have a good foundation, and it’s completely normal to face challenges. Take some time to reflect on what areas you can improve, and keep practicing. Every attempt is a learning opportunity. 😊💪

Why isn't 11 "taxes and subsidies"? The statement is talking about punishment and rewards. Not just rewards
Helpful. Thank you.
Welcome!
Got 11 out of 13
Really appreciate your tutorial

In question 3, they talked about the production of fertilizers not the cost, shouldn't it be not given?
Why 11 is not “taxes and subsidies”? Taxes are punishment, subs are reward. See the last sentence of the text.
