Honestly if they shuttered the company and refuse to sell the product, i have a hard time caring if copies of a digital product are still in use. I know this means no back end support, but we rarely need it, assuming this test version is stable.
I think I would feel a little different if this was a cracked version of 32.10 but the issue is we don’t know what the hell this is. Also I’m uncomfortable manicures selling this and making money off that fact. A user flashing is one thing but a company doing it is another

I’m shocked that a single Chinese manufacturer was paying for this to start with 😂 had no idea. I thought this was another elrs situation. If the dev quits, and didn’t release their source, then it’s fair game to hack it anywhere. That’s always been the game.
Try to check traffic with wireshark and see where the configurator traffic is going. If the original configurator was checking in with Blheli servers (in Norway or EU), this configurator could just be a hacked piece of software, that might be connecting to a random server (with a Chinese IP address) to bypass required checks. This could also mean that the firmware could be whatever version they want it to be, and no real way to verify it is 32.10

Just ordered a SpeedyBee Stack that has BL32. I did it because you configure through their app using Bluetooth. Sequire at least is no stranger to AM32 - they literally just released an AM32 ESC that you looked at. They must be doing it because there are people who do not want to buy AM32 yet. It's always more comfortable to buy what you know and have used for ages. I agree that this is a bad thing for manufacturers to do and will not help to force a pivot to AM32 that is needed in the long run.
Pardon my ignorance but could one hypothetically flash different firmware on it? I’m new and pretty clueless. Edit: Is there a final firmware version of blheli that was released that users could have saved and installed?
The option for "hidden" is not what you think it does, you actually have now hidden the folder, but you already enabled show hidden/files folders. This might mess up people, as the moment they enable hidden on a folder and dont have "show hidden files/folders" enabled, the folder will become invisible.

There are rumors that the BlHeli_32 firmware was actually sold to a big military company. This means that BlHeli_32 may no longer be available to the public. If that is the truth the hope of a return after the end of war and sanctions would also been extinguished.
