One of two new named characters in 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer, Commander Praji is distinguished by his torso alone. His head has been used for 29 other minifigures already across various themes, and mainly for generic characters (with one or two exceptions), so it’s not doing a lot to make Praji feel unique.
On the other hand, the expression is pretty much spot on to the character, who you might remember telling Darth Vader there were no life forms on the escape pod that jettisoned from the Tantive IV (therefore ensuring R2-D2 and C-3PO managed to land on Tatooine with the Death Star plans - good guy Praji). He’d make a great addition to 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV, and while his head is a bit meh, it’s still fun to tick another obscure Star Wars character off the list.

As a brickfilmer who relies on having a huge variety of minifigure expressions, you are spot on about the lack of variety in female face prints. Particularly, we get very few "goofy" expressions, which are so delightful to use in animation. "Queenie" from Fantastic Beasts is a rare exception whom I use over and over and over again.

@@Producemgnfoodcity because of female Charakters
Duh
For unnamed characters, I have no problem with reusing face prints. But when we're dealing with named characters, I think there should be some more effort put into it. Ideally, we'd get a unique face print every time, but that's not practical.
Fun fact: some smaller actors in the original trilogy were reused. So in some cases, figures having the same faces is accurate.
Mr Ben is the best name for this Lego head.
Collecting Mr. Ben should be a new thing. It's way more creative than simply throwing tons of money at the 1000 flavors of Boba Fett.
The face does fit the expression of the Imperial officer, but I'm bummed that it's missing the (to me quite noticeable) 70s side hair/sideburns.
Akshually, he is wearing Stormtrooper gear. Black uniforms are the dress uniform of the Stormtrooper Corps ☝️🤓
I'm really happy we're getting a much more affordable Imperial Navy uniform on the market at least
😂
Angry clones want to know Praji's location...
Imperial Minifigures are more interesting than you’d think. I’ve collected a fair few over the years, and made the odd custom one, such as Admiral Motti and Governor Pryce. I’m still amazed that the theme has been going for 25 years but we still haven’t gotten a figure of Admiral Ozzel.
He's a troubled fellow.. He just knew something was fishy with that Star Wars - Disney deal, it never quite sat well with him.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the Mr. Benn reference. A formative part of my childhood. Thanks!
Strangely, I don't have any Commander Praji heads.
How is that possible?
Their was a minifiger that is was released in the Death Star set that look looks like Praji but is different by not have the red part of the badge
"Stoic" only applies when the head is being used on a good/heroic minifigure, otherwise the correct term is "Punchable". 😀
I bet you're a bad guy
And worst of all, he could be any one of us..
He could be in this very room! He could be you! He could be me! He could even be-..
Hawkeye is my second favorite Avenger. So are all the Minifigs with that face.
Does the most printed lego head ever belong to Temuera Morrison?🙂
Unlikely. Probably the "angry clone" head, or the original generic yellow head.
@@MrAvenger1975and Temuera Morrison played the clones so would that not mark the angry clone head as him?
@bluebrick2.02 Eh, I suppose you're right... from a certain point of view. I figured he was simply referring to the new clone head, which hasn't been available for nearly as long, and, thus, has fewer in circulation at this time.
the mrs rabbit of lego
Oh my gosh...he's literally me
They could have added the sideburns to make it more unique
Ikr!
Lost me when your example of knocking face design "out of the park" was that godawful Indiana Jones figure.
The 2014 han solo face is the example I'd give
I disagree. The actor specific faces can be reused for other unamed charters across all the lines

Lego Multiverse
I am really really annoyed by the lacking enthusiasm of the Lego team to make more memorable female face prints. It feels like they believe it is less of a priority.
Shhhh dont say it to loud… lego may put it in a Micro set….
I still laugh at the Captain Rex Situation
Perfectly okay for generic figures but feels lazy for named characters (even those with a minimal role)
5:47 "The mighty Thor"? Oh, you mean Jane LOL
That's what's she's named on the box
@@Qoobon_ Still lame.
Light-nougat figures will always look off-brand to me.
