The double-sided lightsaber hilt already exists, it was made for monkie kid, but hasn't been used in star wars sets yet (it's literally a longer hilt but isn't in all the colors the regular hilt is in currently)
It actually has been used in Star Wars sets, just not for lightsabers. It was used on saw Guerra’s staff in the sith infiltrator set, and used on the cannons on the pirate snub fighter

About the double blade saber hilt. They already have the mold for it, it’s used in Monkie Kid for the staves. They just need to make the element in silver or gunmetal grey and it’s an easy double blade lightsaber.
Okay, I know I'm a minotiry, but I'll be buying this set for falcon. And minifigs. But I love this falcon version. I just don't vibe with regular one, I feel like, together with Xwing and Tie Fighter, they're bland, overused and I've seen too many of them. And although I can forgive that for the two starfighters, since they are meant to be mass-able in universe, Falcon is pretty unique ship, as we don't see many of them really. So evil version of it with new colourscheme is appreciated and looks nice

Lego has the license to make a Lego CMF. Lego's figures fall under the category of buildable figurines, which George Lucas said himself were excluded from the Hasbro exclusivity deal, as they were below 2 inches and were, ya know, buildable. Lego just doesn't want to make a CMF because they realize people will spend 650 dollars for a 4 pieces of plastic that looks like Captain Rex.

I want White Vader, I recently acquired some of the Mexico Factory alternative coloured ones in Red and Green. With this its more worthwhile to buy the set because of the number of Unique figures to it, normally I'd just buy the figures on bricklink and take the hit but... I have never owned any of the previous Falcon sets as I was able to get the figures elswhere in cheaper sets, this one is the first one to make me go... yeah, I need that! So I'm also looking forward to the build.

Just built it... dug out some old legos and found my OG Darth Maul and Qui Gon, but I put a skeleton head on him since he's dead. Found Chewbacca too and a rebel helmet for Luke. I even modified the front foldy front plate to be down to fill in the front prongs like in Solo. Point is, this set is definitely memes and goofy fun. Make it what u want since it's just a free for all in "what if".
I love this, The lego group seems to have had fun creating these sets and minifigs, No doubt that like certain 1990s minifigs, these rebuild the galaxy ones will go up in price in a couple decades and be like that one toy you show your grandchildren.

I still want LEGO to make a Return of the Jedi-era Millennium Falcon with Lando, Nien Nunb, Mon Mothma, and some Rebel technicians. Perhaps that’s going to be out by the time 2025 or 2026 rolls around since the Dark Falcon might be around for only a year or so (like the Solo version of the Falcon that vanished after a year once the Rise of Skywalker version came out).
This millenium falcon certainly looks better than the regular one. If canon is not your thing, I can see people being interested in this. Also, those minifigures look like fun departures from regular main line star wars. I still wouldn't buy it, but I think this is at least an original deviation from all the bland sets that have graced us over the years.
I have a very strong feeling that the minifigures in The Dark Falcon set, particularly Darth Jar Jar, Jedi Vader, and Darth Rey, will become some of the most highly valuable and sought-after LEGO Star Wars minifigures of all time in the future.
