I'd grab these up now so bad. The Pirate ship is so unique and I love the goofiness of the castle. Looking back on it, the theme was awesome. After all, many of the best IP based themes were unsuccessful at first: The Lone Ranger, Prince of Persia, Speed Racers, Spongebob and TMNT.
Yeah that’s kinda what I like about doing these, just because a theme got cancelled or failed to meet sales goals does not necessarily mean it’s not good and there’s so much good product that has gone unnoticed
Generally, and as both fan of Lego and Angry Birds, I wanna say once again thanks for making another video covering what went with certain theme in realm of construction toys
It's sad that the Lego sets flopped, because I do really like them. Also, who else watched those Angry Birds animated shorts? I love those.
To be honest I know Lego purist are going to disagree with me but I miss when Lego made specialized minifigure pieces when I came to making sets based off animated movies like Toy Story 3 and Angry Birds movie as I feel like they did a great job capturing the art style of the movie in brick form which is something I feel like Lego has lacked lately (with the exception of mini dolls I guess) because if the Lego Flinstones and Despicable Me sets has shown us anything is that exaggerated cartoon designs don’t translate well to regular minifigures.
A lego Sonic and angry birds crossover sets would be so cool
We need more crossover sets in general. Especialy with companys under the same roof like marvel and star wars

The Angry Birds Movie 2 was just a sloppy cash grab of a mistake and the merch shows.

It's really sad that the series went downhill. I was a fan since the first game came out in 2009, and aldo I am existed for the 3d one I don't think there is any future for Angry Birds

Please do one on Lego club. I think it’s a good idea and how it eventually turned into Lego life a bit of a shell of it used to be. I had some of these angry birds Kinex toys and they were amazing. I think I still have the pigs and those lego compatible bricks somewhere in my lego boxes
I love angry birds and I love lego. I owned some of the sets including the big king pig castle. I really liked them at the time. When I look back on it, angry birds has unfortunately only gone downhill since the movie: Deleting there best games from the app store and making garbage knock-off games. It's sad to see a company that brought me so much joy as a kid goes down this path.

I actually have some of these minifigs! I was gifted the angry birds anger management class set thing when the movie came out, so I have some the minifigs from it.
I always wanted the knex angry birds sets when I was little
When I was 13, I loved angry birds, I had every game and bought every toy they had. One day I was playing angry birds when all of a sudden the big red bird turned me on. I COULDN’T STAND IT, I WAS GOING CRAZY. I DECIDED TO PUL OUT MY BIG PICKLE AND START STRANGLING IT, I had never felt so good!

I don't dislike Lego Angry birds. I dislike the Angry birds movie, so I dislike the Lego sets becaude they're based off it.
The movie itself is pretty good and funny on its own, but it kinda ruined the franchine... The birds and pigs are *not* supposed to have limbs.

Easily one of their worst themes that should never return. It was a cute game from over a decade ago but it never needed an entire line of sets. 1 set would have been fine.
