    You CAN "fine tune" the response of each sensor (cadence or torque) in each PA level to kick in faster, or slower, to more closely match your preferred riding style.
    The lack of any mention of the customization options found in the bike's settings, as pointed out in other reviews on this same product, is...odd.
    I think this is a big thing y'all missed; as your only major "con" was something they do in fact provide!
    Still appreciated the review, as always.

    @11:02 THANK YOU for being the first channel to report on the Euphree torque sensor problem. XLNT info all around!

      Thankfully, Euphree has addressed the torque sensor 'issue' and corrected it. This speaks to their excellent customer support and dedication to their product. I own a Stellar Falcon and can tell you it's an amazing bike!

    looks cool. What is the projected reliability of this bike/brand? How does this compare to something like a Radster road or Pace 500.3?

    I have yet to ride a step-thru design that didn’t feel flexy for me. I like the gum walls though. They looks classic.

    This bike looks amazing ! Love the tan tires ! The tech is outstanding . Do the step through and the mid step have different rider height restrictions ?

    • @ElectricBikeReport

      Yes, the ST is recommended for riders from 5'2" to 6'1" and the Mid-Step fits those from 5'5" to 6'4".

    This material choices are compelling other than the audible level of the motor. Multiple sensors are a luxury if fine tuning the torque response could be attained. I don’t recall charge times or certifications of the battery. Would like it to have a solid shaft on the front for hatchback vehicle loading. Great review‼️

      I think that this bike would be ideal if they offered a quiet mid drive motor like a Brose, along with dropper post.

    Good review. Good to see you chose the ST version to review. I’d love to hear you review the ECells 5 Star ST edition. Thanks

      It's called the Step Star. Unfortunately it's only available in a 16" frame size with 24" fat tires or I would buy one....if it ever becomes available! (not yet)

    • @seniorskiteam
      @seniorskiteam 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mellowjammer that’s exactly size of the Step Star that I purchased and is set to arrive in the first week of October. Before I bought, I tried a Biktrix juggernaut with the 16 » frame and 24 » inch tires and it was an excellent fit for me at 5’ 10 » inches

      @@seniorskiteam Wow I hope they are right about your delivery date. The last time David Clevelend was asked about that first shipment of Step Stars he said August! I'm very anxious to hear how that bike works out for everyone. I've been watching that one since the beginning of 2024 and have just about given up hope that it would ever show up. Please let us know how you like it when you've had a chance to ride it!

    • @mellowjammer
      @mellowjammer 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@seniorskiteam I was considering a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Duo 4 ST because of the smaller frame size and lower seat height but still having the availability of 27.5 x tires, which I would prefer over 4"ers. I just don't know if I want to deal with the increased need for shifting and greater drivetrain wear that that Bafang M620 1000W motor will cause along with the higher price tag....and short range unless you add the second battery which really raises the cost$$$ !
      I have heard that customers should be getting the first batch of Step Stars by mid October, so I'm waiting to hear some feedback on those.

    How did you get the version with the gumwall tires? I was on the website and don’t see this as an option?

    • @mellowjammer
      @mellowjammer 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can ask Biktrix for this option. But it's the Hans Dampf tire, which has a different tread pattern which is not as optimized for pavement & light trail as the Johnny Watts standard offering ( The Hans Dampf is a bit more of a trail pattern). I believe it's also a narrower tire coming in at 27.5 x 2.35 as opposed to the standard 27.5 x 2.8 on the Johnny Watts. I was interested in this too but I would prefer the standard Johnny Watts tread pattern for the kind of riding I intend to do with this bike....so black sidewall it is.

    How do you feel this compares with the Radster Trail ?

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Excellent question. They're both extremely similar bikes that we would highly recommend! I'd say the Falcon leans into the commuter side of things a bit more, while the Radster goes a little more to the trail bike side. The Euphree has a slightly more upright riding position, while the Radster is more forward-leaning. Both offer a lot of customization options. I'd say the Euphree rides more comfortably with its suspension seatpost, while we found the Radster's torque sensor to feel slightly more responsive. Hope that helps!

    How much does this bike weigh? If you said it, I missed it. On the Euphree site, I was unable to find the weight in the technical specifications.

    Need your honest opinion this or the Lectric Xpress 750? I know there is a big difference in price because of more feature on the SF.

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You really can't go wrong with either option, but if the Stellar Falcon is in your price range, I think you'll appreciate the upgrades that go with the higher price tag.

    • @robmaxwell3678

      Pretty big price difference but the gap closes a bit if you add fenders, rack and suspension seat to the Xpress@ElectricBikeReport

    Which do you like more, this, or the Radster Trail?

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a tough one! They're both excellent bikes, but they have their differences. We liked the responsiveness of the Radster Trail's torque sensor and the quick access to the bike's speed/class settings, but it's also rather heavy. The Stellar Falcon is extremely comfortable and feels a little more powerful, but its torque sensor wasn't quite as responsive. Hope this helps!

      @@ElectricBikeReport EDIT: I confirmed you can go into Advanced Settings and adjust the torque sensor timing. So for example, you can modify it so the motor kicks in sooner than how you tested it in this video. I would love for you guys to do an update and see if this helps resolve that issue you ran into.

    While the hill climb test is impressive, it doesn’t strike me as a great value at $2300. Should be $1900 max.

      The motor could get somewhat loud at full bore, but the camera/mic seems to pick it up more than our ears did.
