Considering all things such as overall ability, age and their current team I’d say: 1. Verstappen - easiest pick of the lot, best driver on the grid at the moment in a car that is only going to get better but they could drop off in 2026 if they get the engine regulation’s wrong like they did in 2014 after their dominance with Vettel. 2. Leclerc - Fastest driver on the grid in my opinion but doesn’t have the full package like Max does and he still needs to iron out some mistakes and I think he should move teams, maybe replacing Fernando at Aston when he retires but I think Charles will wait to see how Ferrari perform in 2026 with the new regulations. 3. Hamilton - The only reason he his 3rd is because of his age and due to the fact I can see Red Bull dominating until at least 2026. The question is will he wait that long but he’s the most successful of all time for a reason so he can easily fight for another title but he has George as a teammate. If it wasn’t for his age I would put him above Leclerc. 4. Russell - Very fast over one lap like Charles but Hamilton’s race pace is on another level. He clearly has the ability but like Charles he still needs to iron out some mistakes that we clearly saw at the end of last year but I have no doubt that he’ll be a world champion one day just maybe not in the next 5 years. 5. Norris - He’s about the same level as George but has very little chance of getting the right car underneath him. When you have teams like Red Bull, Ferrari, Merc and even Aston now it’s very hard to be in a team that can challenge those 4. I think Lando needs to move like Charles but again I think he will wait until the end of his contract to see how Mclaren perform. Saying this if he was in one of the top 4 cars I would still have him 5th and at a push 4th, challenging George as he has Lewis as his teammate. I would have had Fernando on this list if it wasn’t for his age as I can see him retiring before the 2026 regulations and I can’t see anyone beating Red Bull until then.
@@gameofender4463 how does Oscar have a better chance than Lando 😂 You have literally proved Scott Mitchell’s statement in the video that some fans don’t even rate Lando yet. He’s in the top 6 drivers on the grid and he’s better than Oscar definitely at the moment but it’s Oscars first season. Can’t believe you just said that. You can debate between Lewis and George at the moment but Leclerc is better than both. His raw pace alone makes him better.
@@gameofender4463 I can’t change your opinion but what I can say is that it the most stupid and delusional statement I’ve ever heard. If Oscar is soooo talented and better than Lando then why wasn’t he faster in Australia. Lando was lapping 5 tenths slower per lap than Max in the Red Bull in a Mclaren, whereas Oscar was 2.5 tenths per lap behind Lando. If Lando was so overrated then why are Red Bull so interested in him and why do so many F1 drivers rate him? Max got asked in a recent interview to pick 2 drivers that he want in a team and he picked alonso and Lando so what does that tell you. If anything Piastri is a bit overrated. People only rate Oscar based on the fact he won f2 and and f3 back to back. Yes it’s impressive but the grid in those seasons was very underwhelming and Piastri has little competition whereas Lando had to face George, Albon and de vries in F2 and all of these drivers made it to F1 and who did Oscar have to face? Robert schwarztmen and Dan ticktum aha. Lando beat Sainz in their qualifying head to head in the 2 years they were together and he obliterated Daniel over the last 2 years who is a very talented driver. Last year Lando beat Daniel 20 times out of 22 races in qualifying but I bet you are then gonna say ‘ooh well the car didn’t suit him so it doesn’t count’ Mate don’t bother replying because you are honestly so delusional it’s ridiculous. 7:07 I think about Lando vs Russel it is just a matter of higher risk - we effectively don’t know if Lando will deliver race wins when he’s put on a title winning car… for Russel and Leclerc we have seen it already
If one is to think about how verstappen Hamilton and Vettel's careers came on, the common string you will find is that they all got their start in f1 when they were all very young. If the driver is mentally strong then putting them in the high-pressure f1 situation is better for their growth than the lower pressure (relatively speaking) in the lower divisions.
Haha Scott saying the Red Bull driver swoop theory, a total flashback for me. I was SO sure of it, that Red Bull was going to swoop up Oscar last year. I was waiting the whole season for it. Then, surprise! Mclaren did. I was like, "What?! Wth why didn't Red Bull grab him and put him on ice in Alpha Tauri? That was such a Red Bull move." I was so disappointed in myself that I was wrong.
Russell is already showing that he's got the edge on Hamilton... in the next 5 years he'll only get further ahead. I can't believe you've both ranked him below Hamilton. I'd go: 1. Verstappen, obviously 2. Leclerc 3. Russell, very close behind LEC 4. Hamilton, I think it's unlikely he'll be good enough in 5 years 5. Norris
Mine. 1. Verstappen (I don't need to say anything) 2. Leclerc (Get him right car and I think we could have battle till the last race with max) 3. Alonso (depends where aston gonna be upcoming years) 4. Russell (Lewis has potental still, but I think Lewis years are over, Russell is gonna be new target for Mercedes in upcoming years) 5. Perez (if he stays in redbull and gonna pull a Rosberg move) and for people if gonna get mad that I didin't include Hamilton, just remember that when you lose momentum, it takes years and years to get it back, that's why I don't see him winning.
@@gameofender4463 well all that we saw from Ferrari this year is a so far unlucky moments, so we can't really tell yet how ferrari gonna perform and Mercedes have great moments, but after those they are back in to rabbit hole, so I feel that Leclerc have better chances now then Russel, but in few years time it will be other way around and Alonso not where he was, but if Aston gonna improve in upcoming years even more, it deffinatly can win it, look at only now, 3 races 3 podiums.

Everyone always mentions Lando but when the pressure was on in Russia he folded!!! When will the hype train for that man end? He’s really not on the level of Russell, Leclerc and definitely not Max
The reason people don't rate Norris as up there is because he's never proved it. He wasn't close to Russell in F2, and he was comfortably beaten by Sainz when he entered F1. Sure, he is really young, and he looked really impressive against Dani Ric but was that because he was maximising that car or because Dani Ric was completely unable to drive it? There's no doubt Norris is good, but I don't think he's done anything yet to demonstrate he's up there with Leclerc and Russell.
Ive never heard a better description of Kimi Antonelli than Scott just gave us. Watching him from his last year in karting to now. He’s always done things in similar machinery that you wouldnt even think is possible. Watching him in like Formula 4 and more recently Formula Regional it heavily reminds me of watching Verstappen do things that you wouldn’t believe. Or when Hamilton had a car that would just destroy everyone. If his career doesnt pan out how it looks that wouldn’t even make sense!
I'd go for Ver/Lec/Rus/Ham/Nor. Verstappen and Leclerc clear enough. Russell before Hamilton over 5 years, over 3 it's Hamilton. Then Norris on 5th, just hoping he will land a seat at a good team, maybe Aston in 2 or 3 years after Alonso. Short term, I fear it's gonna be Red Bull, probably until the rule change in 26.They were ahead in '22 and increased their lead this year, that's a massive headstart for a rule era only lasting a few more years. That's why I put Russell before Hamilton and Norris before Alonso.
Judging by the current season, the 5 drivers i think are winning world championships in the next 5 years would be: Max Verstappen Jos Verstappen's son Geri Halliwel's husband's current protege Formerly Sergio perez's teammate Kevin Magnussen
Unless something extraordinary happens w/ Aston or Ferrari or Mercedes, I don't see anyone other than Red Bull winning every single title from now till 2026
I believe that Le Clerk, for all his brilliance over one lap is unlikely to put a WDC season together. With so many top drivers in the field I think he will come up short with unforced errors and lack of the ability to challenge the team on strategy. You need consistency and a racing brain.
putting kimi up against max would be carrier suicide and mercedes will not give him sit in mercedes they will do same thing as george and george was stuck in williams for 3 years and kimi never raced in f3,f2 sooo. Max is going to win everything i think if he has car to do it or even close second car he can do it only real threat is leclerc there i dont consider george bein able to compete just yet and lewis is past his glory days and it realy came up last season you cant put foot wrong against max and he did lots of mistakes in 2021,2022. only guy who has raw pace of max is charles he just needs team to back him up and to make even fewer mistakes than max so bar is very high max will make maximum 2-3 little mistakes a year and leclerc can't make any if he wants to win.
I'm going wild in my list. No obvious picks like Max or Lewis or even Fernando, and I'll only use F1's current grid: 1- Russell 2- Norris 3- Piastri 4- Leclerc 5- Ocon
My list would be: 1: Max 2/3 Hamilton and Alonso are pretty equal, its hard to say because of their age but i think both would stay the 5 years if the car was competetive enough to win the WDC and i would belive bot of them would have the ability to stay competetive on a drivers level for the next 5 years. 4: Leclerc as everyone says yes he does have a mistake in him, but he seems like he can stay focused even when everything is falling apart arround him, yes he makes mistakes, but the level he kept last year (2022) even though he was failed by the team as many times as he was, it didnt feel like he gave up. 5: suck my balls, Kevin, based on what we saw in imsa and the one indycar race, if you give him a car that can fight for wins, hes gonna push himself to reach it, i feel like a lot of his struggles in F1 is because he has kinda given up but at the same time not, it seems like he dosnt feel like its worth it to push compared to the risk it includes, so give him a competetive car, and i think we are gonna see the best version of Kevin again, the one who finished 2nd in his first race ever.
@F1gilles glad someone finally said it, people act like the rest of the grid don’t make mistakes too. Max had a terrible start last race and even went off the track but it didn’t matter because his car is so dominant - which isn’t to take away from his ability, but just shows even a driver of his caliber makes mistakes too

Would Leclerc get his championship for Ferrari or another team? Hamilton and Russell possibly depending how things are in Mercedes. Max, too easy. Would Kimi Antonelli be in F1 in five years? Alonso is more of a possibility than Hamilton because Aston Martin is right now the only team challenging Red Bull.

Tbh I look at Hamilton and the reality is that he is the only one to have mounted a formidable title challenge to Max Verstappen in 21. Leclerc makes way too many unforced errors and Ferrari is a disaster. Alonso is also up there with Hamilton just on the ability to extract every bit of pace from a car. Really don’t see anyone else on the grid capable.
George has shown himself to be every bit as quick as Lewis and he’s shown on multiple different occasions that he can take it to Max even in a slower car. I think it would be silly to count him out.
It‘s funny how people have that opinion on Hamilton and Leclerc when in reality Hamilton made way more mistakes in 2021 than Leclerc in 2022. The difference being that he was extremely lucky that season like in Imola where he absolutely bottled it and got saved by Bottas and Russel. Not to speak about Baku, his Monaco disasterclass, Austria self inflicted damage, Monza sprint disasterclass, Sochi luck with a horrible quali etc. Hamilton had the better car on average in 2021 and needed everything to go his way + Max being taken out 2 times by Ham and Bottas to even stay in contention for the title. Leclerc on the other hand made 2 mistakes in 2022 and got absolutely destroyed for it by the media while everyone only talks about AD when it comes to 2021 and forget about everything else that happened that season including Hamilton’s mistakes and his average performance over that year. Sick and tired of people acting like Hamilton got “robbed“ even though he never deserved to be in contention for the title in the first place. At the end of the day no driver can hang with Max over a season in comparable cars.
@@Pablo-g6z Yeah definitely. Leclerc is a world class driver driving for a clown fiesta of a team. Even in 2021 Max made some mistakes, but nowhere as many as Lewis did in the same year. So I would put Leclerc pretty much on equal terms with Max
sergio perez has the second most points in the driver championship points and he is not on the list, xd. People forget easily that famous race where he started last and won the race after being clipped. He is definitely in contention.
If only Verstappen, Hamilton and Alonso win titles up until 2029, and then they all retire (I do think Verstappen might) - then we’ll have no champions on the grid. Could happen
I don't think Alonso will be in a championship winning car in the next couple of year. Neither will he be around for 5 more years. Hamilton won't stay around for 5 years, if he doesn't have the fastest car. Russel will be champion at some point. So will Piastri. If Hamilton retires, Mick will probably take his place. If Merc has a half decent car, that would probably be close between Mick and George. That is what i want to see in the next 5 years.
Hamilton should not be in top 5, he is almost 40 years old in a team that is struggling and could retire at any moment. Alonso is performing better than him an d hes older and hsi teammate is doing better also in same car!
@@gameofender4463 why do I see you hating on Lando under every video that mentions him lmao💀seems like someone has an obsession
If anything Lando had a better junior career as he won karting world championships like Oscar, they both won F3 and Oscar won F2 but Lando still came 2nd in a much harder grid so shush.
@@gameofender4463 Lando is wdc material you Mellon. There’s clearly nothing I can say to sway your delusional opinion but the facts are there. In the video they clearly talk about the fact that they can’t believe that some people don’t even rate Lando. Don’t get me wrong I’ll be honest here when Lando got into the sport I thought he was average but since then I think he’s one of the fastest on the grid. I’m not sure how long you’ve been watching and you can lie all you want but it sounds like you’ve only started watching this year. How you can say Oscar is better is beyond me and I know it’s his 1st season but as I said his f2 and f3 grid were soooo average.
@@gameofender4463 no you are not seeing if there's any credible reason of considering him WDC material...you are not open to discussions because I've seen a lot of people argue with you in comments sections presenting facts and you just disregarding then. You just simply hate him for some reason. Also the fact that you just said that Oscar has more chances of winning a championship than Norris shows me that you are a bit delusional truly and not capable of holding a discussion. Which is ok, i mean not everyone's smart.
Kimi is the next LEWIS or Max. Anyone who hasn't watched him race than you should see him race. There is literally no competition
7:07 I think about Lando vs Russel it is just a matter of higher risk - we effectively don’t know if Lando will deliver race wins when he’s put on a title winning car… for Russel and Leclerc we have seen it already
9:58 Honestly I don’t know Antonelli, but thinking about the next 5 years, would he be ready so soon for championships??

Max will win all titles, become a 8 time champion till 2028 and then retire for Le Mans and WEC
Possible but Red Bull has to build a consistently good car
In that case I hope he will leave before and do the triple crown and tries to win the Dakar as well.
Depends on how RB do after the 2026 reg changes. Could trip them up a little
Russell is already showing that he's got the edge on Hamilton... in the next 5 years he'll only get further ahead. I can't believe you've both ranked him below Hamilton.
I'd go:
1. Verstappen, obviously
2. Leclerc
3. Russell, very close behind LEC
4. Hamilton, I think it's unlikely he'll be good enough in 5 years
5. Norris
The amount of teams Alonso has been in his knowledge would be crucial to development.

1. Verstappen (I don't need to say anything)
2. Leclerc (Get him right car and I think we could have battle till the last race with max)
3. Alonso (depends where aston gonna be upcoming years)
4. Russell (Lewis has potental still, but I think Lewis years are over, Russell is gonna be new target for Mercedes in upcoming years)
5. Perez (if he stays in redbull and gonna pull a Rosberg move)
and for people if gonna get mad that I didin't include Hamilton, just remember that when you lose momentum, it takes years and years to get it back, that's why I don't see him winning.

Totally agreed
people just like Lando cause he streams on twitch...that's it! mid driver

I think Leclerc is overrated and Russell is underrated. Russell is a better qualifier and has better race pace in my opinion.
That's why I put Russell before Hamilton and Norris before Alonso.
interesting lists. I'm going to nail my colours to the mast by saying that Antonelli won't be in F1 in the next 5 years
He will be in 2026 bro
Judging by the current season, the 5 drivers i think are winning world championships in the next 5 years would be:
Max Verstappen
Jos Verstappen's son
Geri Halliwel's husband's current protege
Formerly Sergio perez's teammate
Kevin Magnussen
Full support and Charles leclerc as a number 1 driver for the next five years.
@@gameofender4463 Both would be second driver to Max, don't kid yourself.
Verstappen is more likely to win all 5 of the next year than anyone else is to win just 1 of them at this rate
Wheres the full podcast Aldass
Unless something extraordinary happens w/ Aston or Ferrari or Mercedes, I don't see anyone other than Red Bull winning every single title from now till 2026
1 Daniel
2 Gasly
3 Max
4 Checo
5 George
I believe that Le Clerk, for all his brilliance over one lap is unlikely to put a WDC season together. With so many top drivers in the field I think he will come up short with unforced errors and lack of the ability to challenge the team on strategy. You need consistency and a racing brain.
Mmm yes Le Clerk
putting kimi up against max would be carrier suicide and mercedes will not give him sit in mercedes they will do same thing as george and george was stuck in williams for 3 years and kimi never raced in f3,f2 sooo.
First, unlike LH in the 2021 WDC.

4. Lando
5. Theo Pourchaire

1 Verstappen
2 Leclerc
3 Russell
4 Alonso
5 Norris/ Gasly
I should take:
1- Verstappen
2- Russell
3- Noris
4- Leclerc
5- Ricchiardo
No love for Checo. He's in a fast car. come on guys.
Checo will never beat Max over a full season in the same car…..it’s that simple
My list would be:
1: Max
2/3 Hamilton and Alonso are pretty equal, its hard to say because of their age but i think both would stay the 5 years if the car was competetive enough to win the WDC and i would belive bot of them would have the ability to stay competetive on a drivers level for the next 5 years.

I would like him to take over Perezs seat in the future i think it would be a good fit for him.
@@Reaz399 Exactly! People always exaggerates with Leclerc’s mistakes. As if the others drivers never make any!
