Hello,
I am planning to grow orchids in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh as a Hobby. I would like to build a shade house. But Summer Temperatures are a great problem here. It can shoot upto 45C for 1-2 weeks with min temperature at 26-28C At those times. Cloud cover is totally absent during that time. I want the temperature down to 33C. Humidity during those summer weeks is very low(Can drop below 20%. I think this Makes Evaporative Cooling System effective). Other times, it doesn't drop below 50%. For reducing the Temperature, I have already planned an automated Humidistat and Thermostat with some ventilation fans+table fans(For Internal Air Circulation). The main cooling device will be an Ultrasonic Humidifier or A desert cooler (Please help me choose). Which Shade net should I Use? (I'm thinking of using 50% Aluminet)
Do you think it's a good Idea??
Edit:- I can monitor the Climate anytime as my thermostat and Humidistat can be connected to WiFi.

Very nice and useful info! I have heard that when folding/unfolding aluminet fabric, tiny particles of the coating peel off, which may cause respiratory issues and deposition of aluminum dust on the ground/soil. What is your experience in this regard? Thanks!
