Do you mean just an acrylic block and no gel plate? I haven't tried it, but I think the result would be different which isn't a bad thing. If you did only the alcohol ink on the acrylic block and then stamped it on the cardstock while the ink was still wet, I think you'd get more of an ink smooshed look. The alcohol inks would absorb into the cardstock immediately without much movement. If you tried to brayer the acrylic paint over dry alcohol ink, I'm not sure how well it would adhere to the block and subsequently the paper. It's worth trying though, that's how I discover new techniques that I love!
