This looks like a perfect rainy day project! My favorite is the raspberry and pink, oh that's so pretty! Vicky, what happened to the "Create 8" playlists on your channel? I really, REALLY miss those! I'd have them playing in the background while crafting. Thanks for another fun idea!

Super cute cards. I, too, make a lot of backgrounds at once so I have them on hand. And I too, forget about the alcohol inks for weeks at a time and then I pull them out again. I have not used them on velum but I will be trying that for sure now. Thanks for all the inspiration. Crafty Violet, Canada.

Thank you so much for inspiring as you do....I have alcohol inks and never used them. I thought they were usable as backgrounds only (boring). Just a reminder - if you use the Lift Ink, be sure to clean your stamp before using it again. Whatever ink is left on the stamp will transfer to the Lift Ink pad and dirty it quickly. Vicky didn't use the same stamp more than once so she didn't have to clean it off before making the next example.

@@lindadesgroseilliers17 really important tip, i used all different ones and didn’t have a chance to show how important is to clean before reusing! Should have mentioned it! Thanks for the comment.

I LOVE this technique but I always forget about using it (duh..../lol!). You made some really fun cards with a background technique that a person (me for example) might normally associate with "mature" (flowery, etc.) cards! Thanks for demonstrating that backgrounds like you've made can be used for kid's cards, cartoon type character focal points etc! This gives me a whole new perspective! WONDERFUL! TFS
