Hi Myriam, it was a pleasure viewing your tutorial. My main medium is watercolor. A group of my fellow artists got together a few years ago to experiment with the alcohol inks making greeting cards. We had a ball. I have not used them much since then, you have inspired me to pick them up again. I have no excuse since I am practicing social distancing. You are also an excellent instructor. Best!

I'm a miniature painter (Warhammer / DnD) and I'm branching out from using straight acrylic paints. I picked up an airbrushing kit and in one of the videos I was watching they mentioned speed paints or alcohol inks and that led me here :D . ugh, finally! someone who actually knows what they are talking about before they start a video! I've seen so many tutorials where they realize as they are going that they are experimenting and they have no idea what they are doing and they just end up wasting my time.
I'm a beginner in resin & You were recommended to me by Steve McDonald Arts and Crafts. I'm finding your videos very informative & so helpful. I've skipped around a bit & this one is awesome! Only thing I'll add is I'm confused as to why a youtuber such as yourself would think ANY material (in this case the inks) did not have literally thousands upon thousands of amazing options to use. Honestly the .000001% of options shown are pretty underwhelmingly bland LOL. I'm anxious to find the videos of you using some cool stuff. Anyway, Thanks!

Copics are the ultimate marker for sure… If money was no object I would have every single color they make! Even their brush tip is superior to others that have a soft tip. Spectrum Noir’s are refillable as well so I have used them quite a bit. The fun thing about this art world is there’s always something new coming out.

Probably the best done video on any subject that I have watched. No wasted time, answers all the questions that I might have thought of before I even knew I wanted to know the answers. I haven't finished watching it yet but will come back and finish it and then watch more of Myriam's Nature videos.

It was my pleasure... Thank YOU Jeff! The inks can be used in so many different ways. Though they behave quite differently, you can use anything one would use for watercolor with the inks too... e.g., paintbrushes, sponges, misters, etc.

Only thing I'll add is I'm confused as to why a youtuber such as yourself would think ANY material (in this case the inks) did not have literally thousands upon thousands of amazing options to use. Honestly the .000001% of options shown are pretty underwhelmingly bland LOL.

I hope some of those ink companies make offers too 😂🤞💕. Copics are the ultimate marker for sure… If money was no object I would have every single color they make! Even their brush tip is superior to others that have a soft tip. Spectrum Noir’s are refillable as well so I have used them quite a bit. The fun thing about this art world is there’s always something new coming out.
