Just did this full meal prep. I prepped without any changes and it took me only about an hour. It all tastes really good, and I feel like my week is going to be great. I am down 16 lbs since Oct. 31st following your preps, recipes and point system. Now that my nutrition is under control, I have less joint pain and can start exercising. Thank you, Leizl!
@leen3645 yes I lost that much just by changing my diet and maintained it over the holidays by keeping my servings down. I am now adding yoga 3x a week and hoping to lose 15 lbs more. Leizl's plan is solid. I am feeling a lot better and I hope you do, too.
I know you put a lot of work into these videos by the time you calculate the nutrition, shop for groceries, cook, film, edit, etc. You do a great job and these are so helpful!
For the corn starch, it's easiest if you make a slurry. All you have to do is put a tiny bit of water in a glass with the corn starch, stir and then pour into your mixture. No need to shake :)

I didn't see where you had a bake time for the breakfast. I live in the states and 35 minutes seemed to be enough. It could have maybe gone for a little longer and been okay. With my ingredients not being dairy free, my macros where: cal- 555, protein- 16, carbs- 85, fiber- 10, fat- 20, sugar- 44. It was delicious!
I absolutely love these videos so please don't stop doing them. However the only kind of meal prep that works for me is a batch of a meal like a chicken and veggie stew which I freeze and unfreeze as needed and some muffins sitting in the fridge is also really useful. Your chicken and corn dish is good frozen and a batch of protein muffins is always handy. We just don't like meals sitting around in the fridge for days as we may not feel like them and they never taste quite right by day 3 or 4.
Liezl, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It made me finally curious to try meal prep. In just two weeks, I’ve clearly seen how this makes days so much easier when you can grab meals that you know are right for what you are trying to achieve. I’ll note that this particular selection of meals and snacks is quite carb conscious for those that also need to watch carbs along with their calories.
Hello Liezl! I made your bean mash with black beans and tahini and sesonings...and used a low carb tortilla with the veggies - SO delicious and filling! I must say, keep the tomatoes separate so the juice doesn't get everything wet and soggy. Love your videos!

A few years ago i did liezl Jayne meal prep and lost 16 pounds in 3/4 months. It does work ! however it wasn’t sustainable for me as i cut out alcohol completely, eating out and my carbs were so low with the courgetti. This time i’m going to incorporate some of her meal prep and give myself more of a balance during the weekend to enjoy life aswell but not ruin my progress.
