    This might sound really lame, but when you said you linked a free recipe book, I literally almost cried. Honestly it’s so hard to lose weight and get in shape and sometimes it’s so easy to buy this and that to try to get into it, but the fact that you’re providing this for free is so nice.     I am literally binge watching your videos on my day off because of the raw and authenticity in view. Seeing you prepare food in natural form, no making it cute and clean but the food and sauce drippings on the counters and I mean just everything. Thank you for showing this and being free with it.     Like everyone has already said, the editing on this video was superb. You always do an amazing job with the meal prep videos (please make more!). 😋
    I don't really care so much about the time. Trying to meal prep for the week in an hour or so (or even more), it doesn't matter to me as long as the food is delicious. Don't feel pressured to make an entire week's worth of food in such a time crunch.
    I'll be making all these recipes this weekend. Everything looks delicious.
    Update: I made all the dishes and have now gone through a serving of each so I can leave a review.
    1. Tofu bake: my absolute favorite of all the dishes. This was so flavorful, so delicious. The only change I made was using firm tofu instead of extra firm. I like the added tenderness and it absorbs flavors more. Will definitely make again and again.
    2. Chickpea curry: again, very flavorful and delicious. Will make again.
    3. One Turn Chicken: I don't eat chicken so I substituted shrimp. This one was good but not my favorite (although my mother really liked it). Maybe it would taste better with chicken or tofu as you suggested.
    4. Potato salad: delicious, will make again. (I used the half lemon but omitted the vinegar).

    I yesterday followed this guide. It was my first time prepping. I was a little bit stressy but very easy to follow! Today I ate die curry, the lemon chicken and had a smoothie. It was super yummy! I am very happy. Thank you ♥️

    Girl idk how u do it I can never do all of this in an hour. I have ADHD and this would take me all day and then some. Figuring out the meals is what takes the longest tho. Those recipes look delicious. I wish I didn't get so easily overwhelmed.

    Made the tomato burst chickpea curry tonight… I added frozen spinach, minced garlic and matchstick carrots to the pan along with the onion (sautéed them all together) and I used a microwaveable seven grain rice ( to save some time) … it was delicious!!!!!!! Thank you so much Liezel for sharing with us!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ I wish I could post the picture on here…

    @LiezlJayne, thank you so much for the video! I don’t have the budget for all these meals for 1 week, but I can pick a dish or two for the entire week. I notice if I meal prep a lot of things, I have a lot of food waste, because I can’t eat all the extras, then I’m over my budget, then feel guilty about wasting extra food. I would love to see you do a meal prep video for someone on a budget i.e. $40-$50 USD a week. I’d love to see more creative ideas from you on how to make a meal prep exciting while living on a budget. Thank you!! ❤️❤️

    I just recently started watching your channel and it was introduced to me by my daughter. I really enjoy how enthusiastic and detailed you are explaining everything. I started using your ideas, because I have try everything and lost weight but then regained the weight. Im not a good cook and to be honest I don’t enjoy cooking 😂, but if I want to loose weight and keep up I have to do it. So far, I starting to feel better retaining less water, and more energetic as far as loosing weight I will have to wait and see another week because I want to weight every two to three weeks my results. So will see….😅thank you 🎉

    My sister and me are trying this meal prep this January and we got the four week prep book as well. We are both very busy and there is often not enough time to eat right. I spent three hours on this on New Year's Eve, as I had nothing better to do (my sister is still waiting for containers and ingredients). While I need to loose some weight, it would be just a nice bonus. I have a job with unpredictable hours and days and I never have a regular weekends and evenings off like with 9-5 jobs. It makes it really difficult to eat three meals a day, so I end up skipping meals or buying some fastfood or sandwich. When I cook, I think I actually cook very healthy meals, but it's so time consuming to wash all the dishes after every cooking that sometimes I skip meals just to avoid this. My fight with depression doesn't really help. So I thought I should give it a go, because I love the idea of cooking just once and not again for next 5 days, just remembering to carry the meals with me. The meals definitely need some adjustments for me, as I don't eat green beans (had long stem broccoli instead) and I think I will sacrifice a few extra calories just to add cinnamon and swap water for milk in overnight oats. But overall, I have beautiful meals prepared for the first 5 days of January and I'm really excited for that! Even if the meal prep takes 3 hours, it still saves so much time and energy! Also, if anyone knows, how do I replace mushrooms in recipes to keep the calories similar? The 4 week cook book has a lot of them...

      Ah thank you for your comment! So happy you like the beautiful body guide. Just so you know - you can use this plan with the point system from the beautiful body guide .. Each meal in this plan is 400 cal and each snack is 200 cal, and so the meals would be 4 points and the snacks would be 2 points with the point system :)

    My fitness pal helped me lose weight by logging what I eat and seeing what it’s giving to me and what I’m not getting enough of. When I upped my protein and fiber and lowered my sugar salt and carbs suddenly I wasn’t always hungry. My high cholesterol went away and my insulin resistance is fixing itself

    Love your meal prep! It’s healing me so much and I don’t have to count anything because you already did it which makes it so much easier. I meal prep for me and the girls at my office it’s helping our office fam stay on track so much plus we are working out together too. Thanks for doing these and the grocery list is fantastic.       That is an interesting idea - imagine if there was 7 of you and you each made one dish for the week ahead for everyone. I have always said communal cooking was the way to go - as long as you can trust that other people's food hygiene levels are good.
