Hi, If you don't have parallax error adjustment on your scope (Leupold 3-9x40 on both a 22LR and Tikka 308, I want to change the NV007 between them) can you still use the NV007?
It fits perfectly on my 4-12x50 AO IR Mountmaster scope using the 42mm adaptor. The reticles on mine can be illuminated by another turret on the left of the scope inline with the top and right turrets.

I’ve got a pard nv007 and use it on my fx impact. It’s the 16mm lens version but I’m thinking I should have got the 12mm lens instead. Do you have any thoughts on this please?

How comes “better” scopes give worse image quality? Didn’t experience it, using it on my S&B T96 4-16x56on which it works great on, even a bit better than on a hawke for example- am I just being lucky? 😃
Hello Hyperion, you are indeed lucky with this, most High end scopes have lens coatings that stop/ reduce IR light passing through the scope. this is the cause of the poor image. Kind Regards John
Hi Rafaelius. We haven't had the chance to try it out on that model yet but PARD offer a wide range of adapters to fit most scopes. However, because the Jaeger doesn't have a side focus it will be unlikely to work as intended.
I really like these vids, very straightforward to the point. Can I ask if you'll be doing a vid on how to use the reticle set-up in the menu system on the NV007?
Hello Pete, Im not sure as to why you would want to try and set a reticle up in the 007, the 007 is a rear add on and uses the existing reticle of the scope you attach this to?
@@OpticsWarehouse1 The reason for asking is that in the Pard nv007 menu, it has reticle set-up, so I'm curious as to why if the 007 works off the scope reticle.
Hi Pete, the reason for the 007 having the reticle set up option is that they all share the same software updates, therefore although it has the option for this it is unnecessary for the 007. i hope that clears up any confusion.

What is the country that manufactured this periscope?
Hi there, these units are manufactured in China. Thanks for watching!
Why won't it work with a higher end scope?
Hi Andy, the reason is that higher end scopes have a better quality and coating of glass, which the NV007 is not very good at seeing through. Thanks

Would the Pard 007 fit a scope with a illuminated reticle?
Hi Paul
This all depends on where the illumination turret is and if you have enough space to mount the collar of the PARD to the back of the scope.
It fits perfectly on my 4-12x50 AO IR Mountmaster scope using the 42mm adaptor. The reticles on mine can be illuminated by another turret on the left of the scope inline with the top and right turrets.
Paul, as long as your ocular has 30mm space to attach, 007 will work just fine.
