  • The Pard NV007 & NV008 - What's the Difference?
John Farbrother - 2018 BFTA & WFTC SPRINGER CHAMPION - from Optics Warehouse compares the PARD NV007 and PARD NV008 to highlight the specific differences and applications of each unit.|

    PARD NV008: bit.ly/2EtPsDJ
The PARD NV007 is a digital rear add on Night Vision device that offers superb night time viewing out to 150 yards with its on-board illuminator in full 1080p colour. If you pair this NV add on with an additional high powered IR illuminator you can generate results over 200yds!
The PARD NV007 comes with the ability to record your hunts, which can be viewed through the device itself. One of the key benefits with the PARD NV007 is its ability to be paired with a huge range of day time optics with a 45mm eyepiece diameter.
When choosing the riflescope to pair with your PARD NV007 we recommend using a scope that has a form of parallax adjustment. Ideally with a PA down to 10 yards you should see the best performance.
The performance of the PARD NV008 is superb. The PARD NV008 can be used as an individual hand held spotter or a dedicated rifle scope thanks to its detachable weaver/picatinny scope mount.
The PARD NV008 Digital Vision Rifle Scope has been designed as a night / day rifle scope combo unit and offers the user excellent performance out to 200 meters with its on board IR illuminator. If paired with a higher grade IR / Laser illuminator performance would be 250 meters depending on external conditions.

As usual, your videos are truly well no salesman's B.S..Enjoy them straight to a point with clarity of information, not unwrapping item for 15 minutes and 30seconds reading instructions on how to unwrap it, lol; most garden experts on YOTUBE do so lousily. Maybe you also could touch upon differences between 12mm and 16mm lenses for newbies. Otherwise,5***** Videos. Perfect for when SHTF times.
Also, the ORIGINAL adapter for 007 (40mm-45mm), screw-on type, is worthwhile to be mentioned as truly versatile. No Allen keys needed. VERSATILITY of PARD NV007
can not be beaten. With good 940nm IR torch, on top BOBLOV rangefinder , oh bro, that is an EXCELLENT tool.STEALTHY unlike D.I.Y night vision junk.

The NV008 is a full time day/night digital 'scope. The NV007 is as you said an adapter for a conventional 'scope so the 008 makes it obsolete..
If I understood you correctly you said the 008 is for night vision only.
In a few more years the digital 'scope will be the norm.

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
      @OpticsWarehouse1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi there. The NV007 is really designed more for shooters who want to use there own optics with the addition of a quickly detachable PARD unit. The 008 is also capable during the day but it is used primarily are a night vision unit. Digital night and thermal vision scopes certainly do seem to be the future!

    • @ukzero1pete

    • @OpticsWarehouse1

Hi Pete, the reason for the 007 having the reticle set up option is that they all share the same software updates, therefore although it has the option for this it is unnecessary for the 007.

    • @OpticsWarehouse1
