Changes is one of the most underrated albums by these guys, i highly recommend. Also I think a big part of this album being overlooked is because Ice Death came out a week before, and Changes two weeks after.
I was at the King Gizz Red Rocks Marathon shows and they debuted these songs during their 15 minute intermissions. I was listening and thought why haven't they put these songs on an album... when I got home Laminated Denim showed up on Spotify
Holy cats, that was so nice of you! Thank you so much! The real trick to this dilemma (when we get to that bridge) is starting to react to concert footage until new music is released. I've still got a ton of albums to go since I'm not halfway yet and they've released 2 albums since I started reacting. At this pace, we got hella Gizz to go.
I think this song unlocked the answer to the gizzverse imo. Seems like the boys summoned the "demon of time" in a ritual. He has power off time and can travel thru time (generation ferry), but he seems to enjoy times with destruction and the end of worlds. The rest of the albums in the gizzverse are him showing them different timelines of worlds ending. (Fun Speculation- Summoning him also gave the boys insane creative drive, but the catch was the "innards boiling" disease mentioned in this song. This might also be why Eric left, cause he didn't want to go with the demon of time)
Thank you for 3 great reaction videos, such a treat 😍 So you definatly should do a Hypertension live reaction 🔥 I can’t even listen to the studio version anymore because it just feels so mid after you’ve experienced it live! Next album reaction vote: Omnium gatherum - soooo many bangers and great variety, more Amby rap come ooone 💥
You mentioned the guitars sounding like they are played through Fenders and you are correct. They use exclusively Hot Rods from what i've gathered, Proco Rat in front for their high gain tones
You have the exact same problem that every king gizzard fan has. They hear a song and say ‘this is in my top 5’. We all have about 60 top 5’s. Serious talent
Heard Hypertension live. It was pretty much one of the sickest performances I've ever seen of any song.

I vote for Butterfly 3000 for next week's Gizzday 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Oh yeah, such a beautiful album. I'm on board.
I love this album, its a top 5 for me. Its 2 completely perfect bangers and that's your lot. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Dude, shout out to you!! Your reactions are so genuine that reminds me myself when I listened to Gizz the first time!!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Do Sketches of Brunswick East next! It’s kind of divisive and it would be cool to see where you stand on the matter
The Book alone makes it A tier for me
The S in Sketches stands for S tier.
Holy Rooski! Triple Album drop!
This was amazing. 2 incredible albums, and one pretty good one!
Hypertension live in Chicago last year was bonkers, highly recommend listening to
You gotta react to a live version of Hypertension now! So sick live
Hypertension is possibly my number 1 gizz song, either that or Iron Lung…
big facts
Love these reaction videos, I'll be sad when you run out of albums

Innards boiling might also refer to stu having to deal with chrons disease
Hypertension is my favorite KG song. I've heard it live twice now, it's so damn good.
gotta round off gizztober with changes now - the best of the 3

The record for this one came in a denim sleeve
I 100% agree about the Dead vibe. My fav guitar jamming with the Gizz boys. Hypertension my fav Gizz song
