HELLO FELLOW DISH GRANTERS! Steven here. I see you've made your way down to the comment section - great to see you again
Love this show! Love Watcher! Every time I watch Dish Granted my mouth waters.
And I too am in love with cheesy gordita crunches from Taco Bell 🤤
YES SECOND SEASON ITS SO GOOD
Please make a second season. This show is so good!
renew the show steven
Would definitely love another season!! Honestly one of the best cooking shows I've watched in my entire life, there's just so much happiness in your show 💙
Listening to a bunch of full grown men giggle happily over a $200 slice of beef is something that can actually be so personal,,
We’ve all been in quarantine too long and I absolutely agree with you.
The fact that Ryan and Steven are full grown men really makes me consider adulthood... Like... They're so childish and wholesome I don't see them as adults who pay taxes and need to call the doctor themselves but they do, they are... Man...
no cap tho :D 🌝
Ryan: “I don’t know if I deserve this to be quite honest”
Steven: “you do”
STOP🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Yep, he got an awwww😥 from me with that response too.
Big Heart swell moment 💕
😭😭😭 I got teary eyed like THIS QUARANTINE MAN..

I had to pause it for a second to recover
steven every time he talks about the friends he's making his food for: i was practically an orphan. they took me in like a lost puppy in the rain. they have saved my life multiple times. i was nothing before i met these amazing men

I love this series already, the way they are so happy in the end is so nice!

Ryan and Shane's shows: Chaotic/ Stressful
Steven's shows: Wholesome/ Stressful
Together they make such a great channel, love em
*doug judy voice*: and together, they're Stressful and Stressful
It's at opposite ends of a spectrum
And then there is Puppet History, which is the single most chaotic neutral piece of media I have ever experienced in my life.
Altogether they are wholesome and chaotic
I also love how this seems to fit them each, like the optimist, pessimist, nihilist thing. We got Chaos for Shane, Stress for Ryan, and Wholesome for Steven. Perfect.
This show and the efforts Steven has put in towards these dishes demonstrate how little effort Steven puts into the drinks for Too Many Spirits and its hilarious.
Yes!!!!
Every time Steven does a Too Many Spirits shoot, he wakes up and chooses violence
Omigosh, so true!! LOL
Omgggg
I love how Ryan pretends to be a hardass but he’s actually a sweetheart.
Same with shane!
Exhibit A - he forever has a feud with The Professor on Puppet History /PH Online University…and in the opening of this video he is wearing a Professor hat
And andrew!
it’s my favourite Ryan bit
The fact that Shane asks for mac and cheese and Ryan asks for taco is such an in-character thing for both of them
Why has this 1 year old comment had no replies the entire time
@@Sandbeard Cause it's such a true comment there's nothing more to add. OP is just correct.

@grimmxpitch i live in Los Angeles and i can vouch that not only does this happen, there's weirder shit that happens dozens of times on a daily basis.
the best thing about this is how steven adds little “personal touches” to the dishes, like the steven spielberg vhs film as the taco case and that really proves how much he knows his friends & pays attention to their interests.

This may be an odd thing to say, but I feel that Steven has a quality that most good chefs have which is the genuine desire to please the person they're feeding.
exactly! My dad's a chef and for the person he's feeding, he will try to go above and beyond what they want just to please them. He loves what he does and his food is always amazing. Steven is the same way
i love this comment!! not an odd thing to say, a beautiful one instead!
Re: anime cooking / telenovela where the parent/mentor teaches cooking to a student ❤️
My dad was never a chef, but he was retired when i was a kid. Every day when I came home from school he had A TRAY with food on it. I have a very specialized diet (ARFID) and I could almost always eat his meals. Its a rare thing to find people like that.
Not odd at all!
From Michelin star rated chefs to Abuelitas all over the land, the best food is made by people with that desire like Steven.
When Josh hit us with the "fast food labor is skilled labor" I knew I was in love

Ah, that was the most blissful moment in this entire episode. And seriously, if our essential workers are so essential to our lives, then why don’t they deserve to live their lives without financial burdens? Raising the minimum wage can change that. We need to get that done as soon as possible.

@@justmaleigh6313 they talked about it on the podcast with the tryguys --- i think they sat across from each other (during internship or early days) and just became friends that way. when brent left, ryan asked shane if he wanted to try unsolved and the rest was history.
As a Mexican myself, I am shocked by the amount of effort he put into this taco. From the comal to the tortilla press, like those are some of the main kitchen tools you'll find in any Mexican household. Like I'm just so blown away by the little things. Most people would use wax paper and a rolling pin to get that tortilla thin and most people would also use a regular pan to cook the gorditas.

One word to describe this series: satisfying. It's really satisfying seeing Steven's creative process, how he brainstorms and conceptualizes these ideas. Main take-away here is: Raise the minimum wage.
REAL!!!!!!!
And see how you know the ingredients, your friends and meanwhile can become a better cooker with you what you said and maybe raise the restaurant minumum rage and creative meanwhile...
For big corporations, definitely. They have the money to give a minimum wage to every one of their employees. It's harder when you are a smaller business with limited resources and not enough profits. At the end of the day, business owners need to make a profit not only for their business to survive but to also make sure they have enough money to pay their employees, have enough for produce, enough to pay rent, electricity, water, etc. Another reason why we should support small businesses as much as possible or have a government system supporting smaller businesses through grants or loans.
Less than 2.5% of the workforce is actually making minimum wage.
